ReplyDeleteI think Kat Dennings is gorgeous and has an amazing body, but I really don't find it appealing when her girls are so extremely squished up like that. Maybe it is just me.

ReplyDeleteI'm about the same body type as Kat but of course she's probably a smaller size than me. I'm 5'2 with an hourglass figure. Being short and curvy you HAVE to show cleavage with a v-neck and highlight your waist or else you look fat and dumpy like you're wearing a potato sack.

@katsm0711 - you lucky girl! I do know whatcha mean, having watched those makeover shows. A bra does made a difference. Its funny with my body, pushing my boobs up can make me look bigger. I have a short torso, though.

ReplyDelete@katsm is exactly right. I refer to it as the great booby expanse, when a buxom woman wears a dress or blouse that has no v neck. It almost always is unflattering.
ReplyDeleteThough a buxom gal should also make sure not to wear v necks that are too tight, like Kat is here. It just looks trashy when the boobs are overflowing.
Curvy sounds wonderful until you want to dress classy. Then it just becomes hard. Sigh

ReplyDeleteRachel Bilson has her own fashion column in the InStyle magazine and sometimes I wonder why. She sometimes looks fashionable but I think they created a monster. It's like she takes it way too seriously now.

I had a dress similar to the one Lucy Liu is wearing only in an Emerald green and the belt was a slightly darker olive colour. Someone told me it looked like poison ivy but I didn't care, I loved that dress. Then a roommate's cat pissed on it. Thanks Lucy for dredging up those painful memories.

I'm just wondering what kind of strapless bra she's wearing to achieve that, er, effect. Must be some kind of giant mammarian alligator clip attached to an industrial-strength chest strap.
