National Enquirer Blind Item

WHICH high-profile TV personality – people in Hollywood call her an “attack dog,” and most say THAT’S a compliment – has been hiding a lesbian secret? The twice-divorced loudmouth says she has been burned by men in the past, but has always preferred women!

Come on people, really? Never married, married once but widowed.

  3. God I wish it was Ann Coulter and someone outted her. That woman is just vile!

  4. Nancy Grace was engaged but her fiancé died. She is on her first marriage now. Unless entry is counting the engagement it's not her.

  5. I know it's not her, but I'd love for this to be Ann Coulter.

  6. Gloria Allred has been divorced twice. Not exactly a tv personality, but it fits.

  7. Nancy Grace was my first guess, but she's been married once.

  8. Barbara Walters? First marriage annulled and then she married the same man twice and divorced him twice - does that count as 1 or 2? Married and divorced someone after that. 1 child adopted.

  9. @libby, she has one of those awful court shows though...

  10. What about Roseanne?

  11. Judge Judy has been divorced twice, but she remarried her second husband I think. The rest of this fits for her though.

  12. Oh! then I guess I got it, despite my limited tolerance for those dang judge shows. Thanks, Em.

  13. "Attack dog" IS a compliment for a Hollywood lawyer! It's her job...it's why I don't hate Allred in the least; I wish I could afford her.

  14. Isn't being a lesbian considered hip though? Like being a gay male is taboo, but being a lesbian makes you a strong feminist or something? Ann Coulter is the only one of these ladies who would really want to hide that.

Or am I out of touch with this?

  15. Katie Couric has only been married once, and they didn't divorce he passed away. On to the next guess.

  16. I thought Judge Judy as well, but she's still married... as is Nancy Grace for that matter.

    I like the Allred guess.

  17. I think libby has this one with Allred. When you google 'Gloria Allred attack dog' you get a couple of stories about how she is considered one by a certain sect of 'celebrities'.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Google said Allred married once. Coulter engaged a "bunch" of times but never married. Shocker!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wikipedia says Allred divorced TWICE, once a LONG time ago (her daughter's father), and divorced Mr. Allred in 1987:

  21. Roseann has been divorced 3 times. So has Whoopi

  22. @libby-- Good job! I missed that second one. I apologize for my mistake everyone. Allred for sure now.

  23. Gotta be Allred. Divorced twice.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I was typing Chelsea Handler, but then realized she has never been married.
    MEH.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh crap, nevermind. Roseanne has been married/divorced more times.

    ReplyDelete
  26. If it wasn't for the married twice hit I'd be thinking Greta Van Susteren

  30. I love how people wish gayness and/or bad things to happen to people because their politics are different.

There are a lot of people I disagree with politically and have extreme dislike for, but hoping for something bad to happen to them or for a scandal to wreck their career, family, or worse???

    I just do get that.

THIS. Hypocrites deserve to be outted.

Twice divorced would eliminate Ann Coulter. She's never been married. I'd say Judge Judy because she is definitely a loud mouth.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Joy Behar would be my guess, but I think she has been divorced only once.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Except for her second marriage ending in suicide, I'd say Joan Rivers. Married twice. Loudmouth. And frequently goes on the attack.

Still think it is Allred though.

    ReplyDelete
  35. You said it Ice Angel! I agree!

The Allred guess is great. I never would have thought of her. I was thinking Babawa Walters.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Ice Angel--I think you're kind of missing the point as to why people "wish" this was Ann Coulter. It's not because they disagree with her politics, it's because if she were gay she would be a hypocrite as she is openly against gay marriage as a civil right.

  37. Joan Rivers- married twice.

I third your comment, Ice Angel.

Nice try, Jolene. But the fact is the only people chortling over this possibly being Coulter are those who disagree with her politics. It's absolutely because of that.

Here's the thing. I have not said anything like that (that I recall), so I'm not defending myself here, but in my perspective the people who say that are not wishing a "bad" thing. They are wording it that way, but the hope is for people with a narrow view to have their world expanded a bit. When Phyllis Schafly had a gay son, I feel bad for the son growing up with a mother spewing such hatred, but I hope for Phyllis that it opened her eyes a bit that obviously it is not a "choice" (because what child with her for a mother would choose to be gay?), and that once realizing that, she could have time to make amends for the damage her views caused in Christian families that took her words to heart, and may have marginalized their children as well. Like Marie Osmond, who has a gay daughter, has now spoken honestly about her struggle to align her reality with her upbringing. (Marie was never actively criticizing gay people, to my knowledge, but she did approach life believing it was "wrong," and has since come to an accepting love of her daughter.) Being gay or having a gay child is not a "bad" thing; it's just not always readily accepted, and for those who have spent a good portion of their energies speaking of the "evils" of something that is not a choice, wishing they experience it first-hand, is wishing for them to have a change of heart and an expanded, more accepting, worldview.
    In my perspective.

  40. But is Allred a TV personality?

    Going back to Joan Rivers.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I'm on the Rivers train. She's been married twice and I think the second marriage ended when her hubby passed away. She is definitely a loudmouth and she is still the host of Fashion Police on the E! network so that could make her decently high profile.

    ReplyDelete
  42. My first thought was Joan Rivers - she was married twice, but the first marriage was annulled and her 2nd husband committed suicide, so she's never officially been "divorced". Bah - I have no idea! Maybe on one of the ladies on that daytime show w/Barbara Walters?

  44. @ Ice Angel , kind of like Ellen Barkin and Sam Jackson on Twitter this week. Stupid and More Stupid. Not mental giants we're dealing with. Also, takes away from their cause.
