Today's Blind Items - She Has Changed
This actress would love for you to all believe that she is without fault. Her sudden rise to A listedness has made all her dreams come true but she spends half her time trying to juggle all the skeletons in her closet. Nobody really ever paid attention to her until recently so she has been trying to cover all the really controversial things she has done and now pretends they don't exist. The threesomes she used to have very weekend? Those women have been paid off. Swapping? Our actress has done it and those people have been hired by her as consultants. All that coke she used to snort like candy with her boyfriend at their parties? Now they do it quietly at home. The drug deals she used to make? Oh yeah. One of the world's A list actresses is a big time drug dealer. That is one thing that has not changed. She has just passed off some of the work to those who worked under her before. She is no stranger to the drug business. It makes sense if you think about it. She is still there, behind the scenes and making the decisions.

Plus a commenter on here knew her sister and her criminal activities. Anne Hathaway is also a good guess based on her relationships too and she's as white as they come.

ReplyDeleteAt what age did Sophia leave Colombia? She seems to have come to act in the US a bit late, relatively. As much as people want to demonize drug dealers, in some countries, if you have to feed your family or take care of yourself, breaking the law is sometimes the only way. Like mobsters in the USA--it happens everywhere.
The 'WORLD'S' part could point directly at a non-American actress.

I'm also doubtful about the Sophia guesses. While she hasn't been big in the US didn't she have a huge following outside the US and was a millionaire well before Modern Family? I don't buy her as needing to risk her career for drugs.
Chastain. . .I'm uncertain of but she didn't really have a career until "Tree of Life" and "The Help" so she fits the "Sudden rise" part. I think she's the best guess that has been made so far.
Sofia was never a millionaire! She did well before but not a millionaire and I also heard that she pretty much takes care of her whole family so it wouldn't be surprising if this is her

Chastain isn't A list. Besides, wasn't she the consensus guess for another actress who's come seemingly out of nowhere who has no friends, is career obsessed and is older than she portrays? If the blind is to be believed, no one fits better than Vergara. Emma Stone or Jennifer Lawrence? Come on. I don't think they started building their cocaine enterprises at age 15.

If you follow Sofia on twitter she seems to always be parting with shady men and 'escorty' looking women. None of them seem to have jobs. She posted a photo recently, some time around her engagement of her Nick and her mystery ex-husband or baby daddy. SV FTW!

And did you know that all the drug dealers, from the lowest level street guy to the top players, love Scarface? They always seize a Scarface poster, or a decal on the back of a vehicle, etc. Scarface and homemade porn are two common threads I've heard often.

@Ms. Good Intentions, I love that picture. I shared it with my Balkan husband (who loves to drink obviously) and we had a laugh. Side note, I once called my husband at his laboratory because he was late coming home and guess what he was up to? All of the Slavics in the lab had gotten drunk and started centrifuging beer to see if they could increase the alcohol concentration. Ah, alcoholism.
ReplyDeleteBTW it's Colombia, the country, not Columbia, the university in NY. My GF is from Colombiana and at SV's age, it's not a stereotype to think she might have been involved in that stuff. It was literally everywhere in the '80s and early '90s. She's also from Cartagena, which was a sleepy beach town that now looks exactly like Miami-thank to narcobucks.

I could see this being Sophia. Vergara was a big time car girl and was in tons of magazines and car shows before she hit it big. Used to see pics of her all over the place at these events, for 5 years or so and then she kinda disappeared. Then I see her on Modern Family! She also has a 22 year old son, so I can see her supporting her family with some drug business 'cause the dad took off and she was stuck raising him in LA, or something similar.

@g strathmore- I've had the unfortunate experience of meeting Eva Mendes twice. Once, two or three years ago at a charity breakfast and she was not only a first class bitch, but her nose looked like she'd been doing blow nonstop for several months. She literally refused to pose with any of the guests, even though she was being paid to do just that- and another time I was behind her in security at LAX- which granted, is stressful for all of us, but my God, you'de think the world needed to stop to accomadate her desires! (and on the VERY catty side- she has really bad skin)

ReplyDeleteMe neither. And I can't find any mention of it on their IMDb or Wiki pages at all. Or even when I Google them. It just says that they did BIG TROUBLE together in 2002, when Tim was with his current wife. So unless it's rumoured, it doesn't seem to be fact, as I pointed out earlier.
Re. the Tarantino BI--Some people were doubting that BI even after the reveal. Well, I read in some of the recent Olympics coverage that QT at one point was interested in doing a film about the 1956 Hungarian water polo team and went to Hungary to scout locations. I think the BI stated or implied that Enty had to rescue QT from Poland, but I could see fudging Hungary for Poland.

ReplyDeleteI can't see this being Mila Kunis - she went to Scotland with Craig Ferguson awhile back and I doubt he'd hang out with someone in the drug business since he works so hard to maintain his sobriety (to the point of turning down painkillers when most of us would have taken them).

@kcqueen - Thank you for the scoop on Eva Mendes. I so think she is gorgeous. Always wondered what she was like in real life. Enty had a BI about her at Starbucks and parading around like a flamingo. I always wondered what her rehab visit was for - now I know ;)

If you read the Forbes article, you can see what a business savvy woman she is- she's co-owned her own talent agency/production company for about 10 years and has made tons of $$$ in endorsements. Can't see her risking that with the drug world, especially now. And she lost a brother to an overdose, which she has spoken about in interviews.

It still runs on Univision, and for many years was one of the most watched shows on the planet. Every Saturday, there she was. But as a blonde. With the same huge knockers.

I have to say that with all of the rumors out about her fiance, I thought it seemed pretty odd how she didn't flinch and just took it in stride. Now I'm wondering if she wasn't escorting when she met him and supplying him with drugs. Although I'm familiar with her from less maintstream stuff she's done, she just came out of left field with Modern Family and became a household name overnight! Obviously has some friends who owed her favors for whatever services rendered.

A different brother was arrested for drugs 30 times and deported from the U.S. Sadly, drug dealers often kidnap and murder other family members when deals go bad. That could explain the death of the other brother. I'm agreeing with the SV guesses. If true, what a sad mess.

This does not surprise me. SV popped up in the US about a decade or so ago as a bikini model and she was yet another hot Latina with a nice body. But she went nowhere for the longest time. She was doing shit movies like 'Soul Plane.' Now, at age 39, she gets her breakthrough movie. What the hell did she survive on until then?

If the rumours are true about her hooking up with Billy-Bob on the side are true then the "boyfriend" bit fits him- and he would have been knocking around in her more crazy drug-fuelled days too...
The "without fault" tag fits her to... UN ambassador, trips to Darfur, multiple adoptions.... but I'm guessing she's still a nutter deep down...
