Claire was my least favorite of the night. It looks like she took an ugly colored bed sheet wrapped it around her and belted it. Hayden looks great but the poor thing will always be tainted to me now.
They all look like they are their own feather in a peacock. The dresses seem weird to me. I think I prefer old Hollywood style, '40's glamour or something like that. Do NOT like Nicole Kidman's dress, at all! Maybe I'm just having a bad day.....
Most of these gowns blow. I think they sacrifice well fitting flattering clothes for attention getting costumes. May i single out nicole for looking exactly like a barbie doll?

I disliked Claire's dress. . .it's really baggy and not fitted in the back, and that yellow brings out the highlights in her hair, and not in a good way. I'm happy she won, though.
Agree with Anita_Mark's comment about the mermaid dress. Heidi Klum looks too-barbie-ish to me. Hayden and Nicole look great.
Thank you, Momster. My father did pass away Wednesday night at around 9pm. It's been a tough time. We weren't overly close but he was still my father. It's hardest on my mother and I imagine will be for a long long time.
I can sympathize, JBE, I lost my mom almost exactly a year ago, very suddenly, and the loss has been profound for my father. Hugs to you and your mother.
Jason, sending you good thoughts and strength. You are a bright spirit and your Dad - whether close or not - lives on in you.

I hated Claire's dress. Who gets a drawstring dress when they're preggo? Ugh!
I really liked most the other dresses though. I thought they were lovely. And like most folks I can never think of Hayden Panatierre in the same way again.
And, no matter how grown you are, you are never quite old enough to cope with a parent being gone... At least, I wasn't. I felt like a grown-up orphan. It doesn't matter if there were issues or not, he's still Daddy, and you're still a little kid. (I miss my Daddy, too).
Oh, and if it helps, you will get to a point where you can smile about the good times, and tip your hat to the less-than-good times, because, after all, sometimes parents just do the best they dammit can... And they are/were dealing with all the crap THEIR parents did.... {{hugs}}
I'm sorry Jason. Obvs we don't know your Mum and we never knew your Dad, but they made you and we thank them for that. I hope you and your Mum know peace. xx

The last time I saw a pic of Nicole Kidman, it was still possibly questionable whether or not she had plastic surgery on her face. She could have still passed for using snake venom or whatever they put on their face nowadays but after seeing this pic...no way. You screwed it up Nicole! Went overboard! Now you just look like one of those housewives on those shows! :(
You guys have said it all: Sofia- smoking hot body but bad dress choice; Nicole- worst dress ever for a big event, totally waxen expression; Heidi- why, why, why? the Jolie is over; January looked awesome, and I never say awesome; Guiliana- stay home and eat something- you bought a kid, it will need you in the future; Hayden P totally got it right.
Okay, I never comment but I just had to say I think Heidi looks beautiful and in my mind, it looks as if she's saying, "this is how it"s done" (the pose) and she did it very well. Although that pose never looks natural, she makes it look more so... and no, I"m not her mom.
Claire Danes looked amazing. JJ looks a bit like Bridget Fonda in that pic! That's a positive thing. A smile looks good on her.
