I've been reading this site since December of 2006, and I am probably one of the few who is glad that it seems that he's going back into his archives and revealing old BIs. His big reveals twice a year have been great, but they were usually reveals for that year only. I'm glad he's going back and "cleaning up house", so to speak.
So it's okay for Helen Mirren to flash her bits but not Madonna? I like them both so I'm all for them, but the double standards sometimes are astounding.
@camembert - not a double standard. Helen Mirren was obviously with a group of people in private that she was comfortable with, and knew she wouldn't offend. Madonna did it on a public stage for cheap publicity regardless of who she might offend. Big difference.
i have a director friend who is good friends with helen mirren, and has directed her on many occasions, and tell tales (true!) of how promiscuous and raunchy the lady was and is.
his actual quote was, "who in england HASN'T helen fucked?"
Helen was nude in so many films I'm sure she figures everyone has seen them before. She's so famous for it that during a publicity tour a few years ago she joked that she kept offering to strip off for the film, but the (much younger) filmmakers kept turning her down.
The was a website a while ago that showed a topless still from one of Helen Mirren's old movies next to a topless still from one of Dame Judy Dench's old movies with a "Who did it better caption?'
Mirren was blessed with some of the nicest breasts in human history. She has been my older woman fantasy for 30+ years now. Yes, Ingrid...Excalibur started that.
Madonna is a pompous twat whereas Helen is all talent, all class, all ageless beauty. I remember reading something like Guy Ritchie said sleeping with Madonna was like getting with a piece of beef jerky. Pretty sure no one ever said that about Helen!
Please just curious, if a famous actress flashed in my company I would totes tell everyone I knew. It's not like someone took a photo and tried to get it published by the tabloids.
I really don't see what is so great about her doing this. Also, Enty revealed a few months ago that she's had facial surgery. That said, I saw her in London a few years ago and she was super attractive and seemed like a nice lady.
Why not be supportive djphob? She was drinking with friends, showed her tits and said they were real. Over in Britian, breasts are no big deal. Hell, they are even on page 3 of the papers every single day. I think alot of people here are admiring her confidence at her age. It's not like she is some desperate 20 year old flashing her bits because she thinks that is all she has going for her.
I don't think it's bad, I just think if Gwenyth or Lea Michele or Beyonce (etc) did this that the reaction would be the same. I need to go back to the OG blind and see what the comments were like.
