Four For Friday - The Family Man

It's Friday. That must mean announcements. Not too many. I will be here all weekend and just as a heads up, I will be posting on Thanksgiving too. I can eat and booze one handed. Just hand me a turkey leg while I type. Tomorrow I will reveal a blind item or two from the archives. If you are looking for extra blind items and some things not on the site, you can follow me on Twitter. @entylawyer

This actor is A list. He is everyone's best friend and everyone loves him and the world feels like it would die without his movies. If there was an America's Sweetheart for actors, he would be at the top of the list. Always the family guy he has been married for quite some time. He has kid(s). It is that easy, heartwarming kind of thing he has going that makes it so easy for him to talk that teenager back to his room or his condo which he keeps just for that kind of thing and see how open they are to things. And by things I mean, our actor has a very dark side which never shows itself in public. It has showed itself in a role or two and in an interview you will sometimes see a brief flash and wonder where it came from. He loves finding teens. It is always teens for him and he loves to see what he can talk them into. Loves seeing what they will do for him that they never would consider. He can be extremely rough and violent but always makes sure everything is consensual. He finds a teen and they go to his place or hotel. never anywhere in public. Ever. Room service and then he does what he does. It can be anything from convincing them he can get them in one of his movies to helping them with their homework. Whatever it takes to get their clothes off and his kinks satisfied. It is really interesting that when he was first starting out in movies he actually starred with one of the most sexually violent actors working today. Who knew they both would become such big stars.

  1. This is a different blind but wasn't there one recently called The Family Man that many thought was Nic Cage?

  2. Matt Damon. Everyone loves him, always sweet. Guess not.

  3. Steve Carrell! Kiddning

"The world feels like it would die without his movies?" Weird hint.

    2. Me too. I have heard rumors that he is a drunken whore.

  6. @Cheryl there was but it dealt with the actor just cheating with other women. Not doing freaky things to teenagers. Ick

  7. Bruce Willis - "the world feels like it would die without his movies" - Die Hard??

  8. Matt Damon is the only person I can think of that fits the sweet family man. iF this is him, who would the sexually violent actor be?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Tom Hanks? He seems like America's Good Guy/Sweetheart.

    ReplyDelete
  10. "I can eat and booze one handed."

    Enty rules!

  11. Tom Hanks. I wonder if the last line is a clue: "big" stars. Tom Hanks starred in Big.

  12. Kevin Bacon
    Mickey Rourke

    1. Exactly my first thought as well, and wouldn't Enty be pained to know there was bad Bacon out there?

  13. I'm with All About Eve, I read this as Tom Hanks, who else is America's male actor Sweetheart? Plus the blind mentions "he does what he does", this reminded me of his film: That Thing You Do.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Will Smith occurs to me, especially since the gender of the teens aren't mentioned. But I can't find anyone who fits the other actor.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Tom Hanks. Dan Aykroyd, Jim Belushi, or Eugene Levy for the co star. Comics are a fucked up bunch.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I was thinking Tom Hanks the entire time.

    But this -

    Kevin Bacon
    Mickey Rourke

    The Diner

    great guess

  24. Damon has been married for just about 7 years. Is that really "quite some time" anywhere other than Hollywood? Based on that, I think that this is not him.

I can't find a co-star to fit Tom Hanks, though that seems more plausible. The Kevin Bacon/Mickey Rourke guess is also good, but is Kevin Bacon considered A list, other than name recognition?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I rarely have a guess but this sounded like Tom Hanks to me. I hope not because I love him.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yep Tom Hanks... World would die without his movies is referencing Tom Hanks latest movie... Cloud Atlas!

    Damn Forrest!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Matt Damon.

and yeah the use of Teen, rather than teenage boy or teenage girl, means both teen guys/girls

    ReplyDelete
  28. Looking at Hanks' early movies I can't see who'd be the other guy. Oh wait, Eugene Levy?! j/k.

I used to know someone who was friends long ago with Hanks and his first wife. He adored Tom and his son (said he was a great dad) but this guy despised the wife as a whacked-out coke head; said it was sad how she treated her family. FWIW.

Kevin Bacon hmmm. Is he still married? Thought they were divorcing. Rourke sure matches the other guy.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I read this as Tom Hanks, but Matt Damon has more likely sexually violent co stars. Kevin Bacon/Mickey Roarke is very intriguing though.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Tom Hanks was my first thought.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I thought Tom Hanks, too. :-( But how is this four for Friday?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I read this as Tom Hanks. In several of his movies, even Turner and Hootch you can see anger that is over the top.
Kevin and Mickey make a great guess if it weren't for the love we supposedly have for the actor. I don't think Kevin fits this part at all.

  34. I like jw's guess. Plus "the world feels like it would die without his movies" could be a reference how it seems he's in every movie (think: Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Could the "everyone would die without his movies" line refer to Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon?

    ReplyDelete
  36. while tom hanks might technically fit the clues, I don't believe its him.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Anonymous10:32 AM

"and in an interview you will sometimes see a brief flash and wonder where it came from." Is this referencing the F bomb Hanks dropped on GMA or whatever morning show he was on last month?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Will Smith.
World would've ended in Independence Day.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Sad that it's anyone, famous or not. But, this says "Tom Hanks" to me.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Not Hanx!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Every time there is a blind like this I always think "Thank God it's not Tom Hanks. I would be devastated to find out he is a douche or a perv or whatever." But this DOES sound like him. I mean, he IS America's Sweetheart guy. Then again the clue does say you see this dark side in certain movies and even when Tom Hanks has played someone questionable (like in Road to Perdition) he still doesn't heeb you out. Whereas Matt Damon often plays tough or violent or morally ambivalent characters.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Also wouldn't Tom Hanks be A+ list? The guy has 2 Oscars.

    ReplyDelete
  43. i thought of tom hanks as well. a few years ago, he came out onto a stage at some awards show (oscars maybe, was a big one) and they started playing a certain piece of music that he apparently didn't like. the look on his face was suddenly rage like. then it returned to mr nice guy.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Unless someone can find "one of the most sexually violent actors WORKING TODAY" I can't get on board with this be Tom Hanks just because he's considered a nice guy...

Kevin Bacon and Mickey Rourke fit perfectly. People are obsessed with the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon.

    ReplyDelete
  45. LOL. I read this as Will Ferrell. My brain is fried today.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I agree that the sexually violent co-star is Mickey Rourke, but the world would die without Kevin Bacon's movies? Not sure about that.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Kevin isn't A list.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I read this as Tom Hanks. He has that sweetie image, but did you all know he was very married when he hooked up with Rita Wilson? He was involved with her for a while and left his wife for her, and word is that she is one of the biggest bitches in Hollywood.
In my experience, truly nice people don't end up with truly mean people long term.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anonymous10:45 AM

And remember Kevin Bacon did "The Woodsman" where he played a child molester.
Enty says, " It has showed itself in a role or two"

    ReplyDelete
  50. I read this as Tom Hanks as well, though I hope it is not.

    ReplyDelete
  51. The Kevin Bacon/Mickey Rourke one makes the most sense. Solely because Rourke is a piece of shit. I can't think of any known interviews where Bacon, Hanks, or Damon reveal a "darker" side. Saying fuck doesn't indicated a violent person, btw.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I just don't think of Kevin as America's Sweetheart, nor do I think he is A-list.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I agree with StewMcG. Tom Hanks is A+. Unless Enty is fudging to make it less easy, it's not Tom Hanks.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Anonymous10:51 AM

I could not imagine Tom Hanks doing this at all, too much of the good family man. But I could see Kevin Bacon doing this. He's got the whole, skinny, long haired, trying to hang on to looking young and hip thing going on, seems like he has a dark side too. But he doesn't seem heartwarming at all, he seems creepy.Maybe it's just me. Hanks IS heartwarming and seems like he'd make you a cup of cocoa and watch midnight express with you. If Hanks really had a teenager kink don't you think he'd try to do movies where he's around teenagers/tweeners? Movies like footloose? He has been doing stuff like Charlie Wilson's war, the green mile, more serious drama stuff rather than films/projects that would give him total access to teenagers. Willis hasn't been married forever. Affleck is universally hated. My guess is Bacon. Damon doesn't do feel good movies. I can't and won't imagine Hanks for this, though all signs point to him. Please God no.

    ReplyDelete
  55. And remember that recent pic of Hanks here with that teenager kid pretending to be asleep...?? It was supposed to be cute and whatnot but I remember I thought something was odd about Enty's comments.

Someone help a girl out with a link plz

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm thinking Harrison Ford. He's had a few dark roles, and we've seen him angry in films before. Certainly A list and loved by everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Nic Cage and Mickey Rourke? Unless Enty is in his Sean Penn hater moods and and it's Nic and Sean Penn from "Ridgemont High."

I couldn't find a beloved A-list in any Steven Seagall movies, but I didn't spend a lot of time on the research

    ReplyDelete
  58. Tom Hanks was the first thought that popped into my head. In a League of Their Own and Saving Private Ryan showed a flash of a dark side. Wasn't one of his co stars in Private Ryan a little on the dark side? Trying to remember...

    ReplyDelete
  59. Steve Carell was my first thought...

    ReplyDelete
  60. My case for this not being Matt Damon is that he is sexually attractive. He doesn't need his warm, fuzzy image to charm anyone out of their panties.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I hate to guess when I have no idea, it's like accusing someone with no proof..
    I've got nothing,

    ReplyDelete
  62. kevin bacon is hardly america's sweetheart. when it comes to actors, i doubt he'd even make that list, and he doesn't star in much anymore either.

    hanks sadly DOES fit.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Hope all those teens are of age. If not, someone needs to go to jail.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I don't think anyone sees Nic Cage as a nice guy, much less a sweetheart. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  65. Matt Damon was in The Rainmaker with Mickey Rourke...

    ReplyDelete
  66. Do we think the teens are boys out girls?
Either way this is a creepy blind.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Other possibilities are:

Jeff Bridges / Mickry Rourke (“Heaven’s Gate”, 1980)

Jeff Bridges / Clint Eastwood (“Thunderbolt & Lightfoot”, 1974)

Plus a more remote possibility, assuming that Enty fudged the description a little:

Ron Howard / Mickey Rourke (“Act of Love”, 1980)

Howard is (still) an actor and is A-list, but not really an A-list actor, if you see what I mean. A-list director, yes.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I can live without Tom Hanks films, but I love him. I haven't seen the last few. Sometimes his roles bore me, but he's a funny guy, I like his persona.

    So I don't think it's Hanks.

Can't live without Ron Howard films though... hmmm.

  69. @Dee Lurker

    Google:

    "Tom Hanks" site:http://www.crazydaysandnights.net

It will give you every article (and comment) with Tom Hanks' name. Dates will be in the search link so you only have to look at recent posts.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I was thinking Denzel too...

    ReplyDelete
  71. what about Billy Crystal?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Rolling Stone had an in-depth interview with Hanks recently and the fact that he had a dark side was touched on a few times. It also came through in the interview and the author's observations of the man.

That said, I hope it's not him.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Going back over it, I see the article actually refers to him as "America's Sweetheart"

    ReplyDelete
  74. I hope it's not Matt Damon!! It would not take much for him to get me out of my clothes.
I read this as Tom Hanks.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hanks did Larry Crowne with Julia Roberts last year. If that movie does not represent two of 'America's Sweethearts' I don't know what does. Just by using that phrase the first image I have is that movie. And who would actually believes Matt Damon wants to help them with their 'homework' LOL. This has got to be Hanks.

    ReplyDelete
  76. It never says whether the teens in questions are male or female..

    ReplyDelete
  77. From the first few words I knew it was Tom Hanks.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Matthew Broderick, who early in his career starred with Charlie sheen (for violent guess) in "Ferris Buelker's Day Off".

    ReplyDelete
  79. Kevin Bacon did Sleepers, and his character had a thing for little boys in the prison...

    ReplyDelete
  80. For those on the Hanks bandwagon, here's a possible clue.

"...the world feels like it would die without his movies."

"Can't Live Without You" is sung by Charlie Wilson, and Hanks was in "Charlie Wilson's War".

    Yeah okay ... it's a stretch.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Anonymous11:31 AM

The world feels like it would die without his movies.....
Bacon doesn't fit this. Hanks really does though. (sob)

    ReplyDelete
  82. But if it is Hanks, then who is the violent early co-star, now famous? Seems like it should be someone we've read about at some time here.

    ReplyDelete
  83. @ Unknown,

    Bacon also did "Flatliners".

Bacon/Rourke seem the best fit. And that breaks my heart, 'cause I love me some Bacon.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Tom Hanks starred with Tom Sizemore in SPR, no?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Tom Hanks starred with Tom Sizemore in SPR, no?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Except that "Saving Private Ryan" was well into Hanks' film career, not when he was just starting it.

    ReplyDelete
  87. @Lola, at first I was all, "f*ck, you're gonna make me think?" But that was actually insanely easy. thnks.

No wonder you guys can link so fast-I used to try to search on the site itself and that shit is so impossible.

Uhmmm, I dunno how to add the link (hangs head)

Weird thing is on google it says one of the pics has tom's dick in the guys face, but I didn't see that in the photos.

Anyhow, it was as creepy as I remembered. I think Enty was for sure foreshadowing-I actually think he does that more than the whole random pics = blind reveal theory.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Lol @wushuliu...way to put things I. Perspective re: MD and homework

Based on the Rollong Stone article tidbits provided by @DrSteve, I think this fits Hanks

    ReplyDelete
  89. Billy Crystal, John Cusack, Stanley Tucci all in America's Sweethearts.

Stanley Tucci was the killer/rapist in The Lovely Bones...Does he fit?

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265029/

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm with Lola with fingers in the ears about Tom Hanks, but he wrote, directed and starred in That Thing You Do, and I think "he does what he does" is a huge clue - Shazzer has the same impression as well. Are we grasping?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Mickey Rourke did play a sexual sadist in 9 1/2 weeks and Another 9 1/2 weeks

    ReplyDelete
  92. Kevin Bacon
The world feels like it would die without his movies.....

if all movies which had Bacon in it were to vanish... thats a huge number

He did - with teen relevance:
    Sleepers
    Wild things
    Digging to china
    The woodsman

Did some where he showed good anger scenes:
    Flatliners
    Hollow Man

Can link him to Rourke and to Jack Nicholson (Few good Men) Revealed to be the one strutting around the pool naked when daughters guests came to visit

    ReplyDelete
  93. @Dee Lurker I totally remember that post. I thought Enty's wording in it was odd too, because every other website made it seem like Hanks was just goofing around and having fun. Guess it makes sense now.

    ReplyDelete
  94. I shudder to think it, but my first thought was Tom Hanks. There is no other actor that fits this. Kevin Bacon cannot be considered America's Sweetheart.

I really really hope that I am wrong. Hollyweird is such a cesspool that I'd like to think there are good people still able to maintain a moral compass. Whoever this is should be behind bars.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Adding to Unknown's list, dark roles for Bacon include:

"Trapped", where he plays a serial kidnapper.

"Death Sentence" where he kills for revenge.

"The Woodsman", where he plays a pedophile.

"Stir of Echoes" (just plain creepy)

    ReplyDelete
  96. Why does everyone think Matt Damon is evil/no good/cheater etc.....
Did I miss a blind about him or something?

I would believe just about anything that goes on in LaLa land, they are actors after all!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Kevin is definitely not America's sweetheart and it's really easy to see him with dark flashes, he's got that edgy thing in him.Don't think blind is about 6 degrees. I thought Hanks all the way.

  99. How about Tom Hanks, with the violent co-star actor John Heard in the movie Big. This is a very sad blind if true. Heard has been arrested for assaulting and stalking his ex Melissa Leo.

    ReplyDelete
  100. @ moose great guess. I read this as Tom Hanks immediately, especially with all the out of character interviews and pics.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Hi everyone!

I have been an avid reader for a while now and I've never been comeplled to comment until know. I really think this could be Will Smith: Think about it:

The actor most likely has teens himself - Tom Hanks has one teen (Truman Hanks), but who gets sent to their room at 17? Will has kids you send to their room, annoying as hell...I'd be locking them in their room every 5 seconds.

The next clue: "the world feels like it would die without his movies"
Will has often been noted as the biggest movie star out there, anytime he opens a movie (whether it be comedy, drama or action) - it's a success. Tom has had big ass failures these past two years, a'int nobody seeing his movies. Safe to say, if Will stopped making movies we'd feel it more than if Tom did, as of now at least.

And on the clue: "It has showed itself in a role or two and in an interview you will sometimes see a brief flash and wonder where it came from."

The only obvious display of anger I've seen from Will is when he hit the reporter trying to kiss him. And for someone who hit a guy for trying to kiss him, instead of, idk, telling him off or something less violent, the world ate Will's explantion up and we all almost felt like it was the right thing to do. I don't know about Hanks, a few of the other comments have mentioned times when Tom can be less of the sweethart we're used too.

And on the last clue, the one about the actor having worked with one of the most sexually violent actors out there, who could that be for Will? I don't know enough about sexually violent actors to speculate, but Will made major movies at the beginning of his career, and it sound like the actor was as unknown or up and coming as Will at that time. So if it's Will, we're looking for an actor in his earlier movies, who made it big alittle bit late.

Ok, those are my two cents. I am so sorry for the long post but I'm excited about my first contribution to CDAN and reading the comments section is my favourite part! :D
And i'm alo so sorry if my spelling throws anyone off, english isn't my first language.

  103. I'll 3rd for Denzel. That's what I was thinking what I read this. He's been married to Pauletta for a long time (30 years next year). He's got that megawatt smile. He's one of the last remaining box office draws (people can't live without his movies) - Hanks hasn't done well his last few times out (Cloud Atlas/Larry Crowne).

Then you read rumors about DZ cheating. He seems like he could be a dick. He's been dark in a few movies (the current one - Flight, Training Day, Courage Under Fire).

    That's my guess.

    ReplyDelete
  104. "The actor most likely has teens himself - Tom Hanks has one teen (Truman Hanks), but who gets sent to their room at 17? Will has kids you send to their room, annoying as hell...I'd be locking them in their room every 5 seconds."

Whoa, I think you're misunderstanding this blind. This actor is taking teens that he meets -- who are NOT his own children! -- back to his hotel rooms and condo for sex and God-only-knows what else. This blind is not saying that he is sending his OWN children to THEIR rooms.

(As English is not your first language, I can see how this might seem confusing. Make sense now?)

    ReplyDelete
  105. Sadly I believe this is Tom Hanks.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm with Hannah re: Will Smith. He's charming enough that teens would think he's just being nice. The "world" reference could also mean the Men in Black movies where the world is saved from aliens. And don't forget Will starred in Sic Degrees of Separation early on with Ian McKellen - who I think has been in blinds before about sex/violence. Just a thought!

    ReplyDelete
  107. @AKM - I should've clarified, I believe the actor in the blind most likely has children in their teen years, something about the way Enty phrased his sentence made me draw the conclusion. But to be clear, the blind does not reveal what age the actors kids are, just an assumption on my part.

  108. I'm with Tom Hanks, and i think an interesting idea for the co-star who was nobody back in the day, was John Goodman in "Punchline."
You would have to fudge it a bit, because Hanks hadn't JUST started in films, but when Punchline came out, he was woefully hit and miss in the 80's---for every "Money Pit" or "Big", there is a "Man with one red shoe" or "Dragnet" or "The 'Burbs" right in that same time frame.

I just thought Goodman is an interesting guess for the secret perve. He's married too, but he keeps his business SO quiet.
"Punchline" was filmed the same year as the first season of "Roseanne", btw. Right before he hit it huge.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I could see Ian McKellen as sexually aggressive, fo sho, but he was a huge star long before "Six Degrees", right? At least in theatre & in Britain? Already knighted or whatever? Sorry for my ignorance about his title.

But he did later do both X-Men and LOTR. Interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  110. johnny depp & leonardo di caprio?

    ReplyDelete
  111. crap. johnny depp wasn't married. i mean, i'm disappointed in my sleuthing skills, not that i'm happy to be accusing someone of heinous acts. xo

    ReplyDelete
  112. @Illuminated Leaf I'd forgotten that Hanks had worked with John Heard...that guy's reputation is poison.

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Candyland - Ian is a good addition, but I'm not sure, like Libby said, whether he was that up and coming at the time. But again, i'm speculating about the sexually agressive actor being up and coming. Again ebased on the way Enty phrased his sentence, so i could be way off :)

    ReplyDelete
  114. I would think Hanks would be A++ list but that might have been giving too much away if it really is him.

    ReplyDelete
  115. This might be pushing it, but Ben Stiller and Eugene Levy were both in today's pics. I don't think this blind is Tom Hanks, because he would be listed as A+ or better. Ben Stiller could easily be A, and his movies are hits. He's been married to Christine Taylor for 12+ years, and they have kids. I don't know about the America's Sweetheart comment, but he is pretty lovable in the Fockers series. He was in a movie with John Cusack way back when, as well as Liam Neeson, Ethan Hawke, Adam Sandler, and Jim Carrey. Any of those possibly sexually violent?

    ReplyDelete
  116. Re Heard - he may be an a**hole but he was charged with stalking his son and assaulting Leo's new boyfriend, wasn't he?

The early co-star is sexually violent, so wouldn't that be more like the kind of behaviour we've read of Rourke in the past?

    ReplyDelete
  117. Johnny Depp?
    Robert Downey Jr.
although if this were ever to be revealed as either Tom Hanks or RD jr, I would be shocked!

    ReplyDelete
  118. @Hannah, Will Smith worked with Marttin Lawrence in Bad Boys, who is a noted violent sexual harasser. Dont know how much he is working now, but yea, I'm leaning towards Will, with the reporter-punching incident as the glimpse of his dark side.

  119. Ben Stiller & Christian Bale seem to fit. Stiller has a bipolar disorder, too, which could sometimes trigger such behavior. I haven't heard rumours of Bale being sexually violent, but obviously he has anger issues.

  120. I've only posted a couple times but have been reading this site every day for a year and while I'm completely addicted, it has warped my mind- I think every A-list actor is either gay, a pedophile or a violent rapist. At the very least, I need to live in a world where Tom Hanks really *is* a good guy- please, oh please, oh please!

  121. I was thinking Brad Pitt the whole way through (yes, I know it says married but that's a detail that's easily fudged). Still trying to make it work with the blind.

But now I'm also really liking the Ben Stiller guess.

  122. This story is old (1997), but its the first item that pops up in a google search about Martin and his violent past. At the time, he was a big star, which fits the clues.

  123. This has to be Will Smith. The reference about the world dying = most of his movies about saving the world. He's been married for 15 years, has kids. There have been moments in interviews that have gotten weird. The only thing that I'm stuck on is the famous co-star: he was in Six Degrees of Separation with Anthony Michael Hall, but he's not a big star any more.

  124. Tom Hanks' last 3 movies were "Cloud Atlas," "Larry Crowne" and "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close." All bombs. Yes, people find him personally likable, but If "the world feels like it would die without his movies" they're not showing it through their dollars. He did of course do a voice in "Toy Story 3" but if you look at live action films, the only truly successful ones he's done lately are "The DaVinci Code" and its sequel.

"The world feels like it would die without his movies" seems so strangely worded that it must be a clue...

Jumping on the Tom Hanks bandwagon.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Yes I agree with 125 records, it feels specifically worded. I'm beginning to think Will Smith, also. Would teens EVER consider sex with Tom Hanks? They'd be grossed out, but not so with Will. Plus I believe he and Jada have an open marriage. As for the sexually violent co-star it could be Martin. Totally. Could be Ted Danson or Kyle Maclaughlan...

    ReplyDelete
  127. Wasn't there a BI a while back about one of Hank's sons being extremely brutal to a woman? And then he covered it up to save his image or something?

If this is Hanks, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I love Tom Hanks but he was the first one I thought of for this blind. I did a simple google image search for "actor america's sweetheart" and up came a little pic of Tom, and the article is titled: BUZZ BLABBER: TOM HANKS IS STILL AMERICA'S SWEETHEART

    http://www.buzzsugar.com/Tom-Hankss-Best-Roles-23959326
In other news, isn't Tom Hanks supposed to be a raging alcoholic? La Di Da.

  129. i know he's not that big anymore what about robin williams?

    ReplyDelete
  130. I went at this from the violent co-star angle. My first thought was Mickey Rourke. The guy from "Big" was my second guess, but I thought it was just because he always plays a jerk. I didn't know about him and Melissa Leo. Seals the deal: Tom Hanks and John Heard. Kevin Bacon isn't beloved enough.

I think it's Will Smith. What teen would really be interested in Tom Hanks? But Will Smith, they'd come running.

  139. I'm going with the Tom Hanks guess; the fact that so many people refuse to believe that it's him because of his "Good Guy" reputation merely reinforces it to me.
Plus, people who don't frequent gossip sites still consider Julia Roberts "America's Sweetheart", and Tom is the male version of Roberts.

    It breaks my heart, though.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I thought Dustin Hoffman because other actors love him so much, except for Robert Redford.

Tom Hanks and Will Smith are also possibilities.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Wow so many actors could fit the bill

  142. has to be will smith

  143. I"m going to go totally off base and say Will Ferrell. I don't see how Tom Hanks could get teen boys to go to a hotel.

    I love him.

  145. 20 years ago I was the roommate of Tom's ex-wife's best friend (I know). Tom Hanks had already divorced his first wife and the stories this best friend would tell me have always made me see him in a different light but not enough to make a big deal out of it...until now. This blind, comments and guesses makes me realize alot of what was said to me before might have been true. Unfortunetly I cannot go into specifics, but like the rest of you, it would break my heart if it was Tom because he has built up such a lovable reputation in the public eye.

This image does a good job in putting him in a different perspective: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wCljyWdHMLM/UBKzMa-q3JI/AAAAAAACHKs/5JNas4o0Vxg/s1600/727%2Bth.jpg

  150. This blind reads more Kevin Bacon/Mickey Roarke than anything. Kevin got his big break in Diner, which also starred Mickey Roarke. Kevin has played some angry characters throughout his career and Roarkes ex wife Carre Otis has stated in an interview a few years ago that Mickey sexually violent towards her.

    ReplyDelete
  151. It's interesting that this blind talks about movies, but doesn't say all movies. Will Smith and Tom Hanks both did tv series.

Something else is that it says is they either go to his place or a hotel. Kind of inconvenient to go to his place if there are family members hanging around. There was an story not too long ago about Will and Jaden Smith having a second house that they used for whatever one needs a second house for. That would be convenient. But then again maybe they all have second houses.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Personally think Hanks/Gleason.
    Wasn't Gleason violent and kinky?
They were in 1986's 'Nothing in Common'.

Never really guess but there's my .02!

  153. No not Tom
    Loved Cloud Atlas

    ReplyDelete
  154. ah nevermind.
    had to re-read.

  155. While I believe the answer to this is Tom Hanks, I know from personal experience that John Heard is NOT the sexually violent co-star .. really, he is not, trust me . .I know.

    ReplyDelete
  156. The blind may imply Tom Hanks but I don't believe it. And my younger son would be crushed so hopefully this rumor goes away completely.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Steve Carrell.

    Jim Carrey for the co-star.

I may be wrong, but i think it makes so much sense.

    ReplyDelete
  158. This is Jewist, but Kevin Bacon is Jewish and they as a whole, are just not a crazed, violent people. He would be the first. That's why I'm worried its Hanks. Rita Wilson is supposed to be a mega bitch. Tom is by all accounts a nice guy. But America considers him a sweetheart. I must say, it would break my heart if it were Hanks, but it certainly could be may Damon too.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Dee Lurker (11:38 AM) - That was actually my comment. I assure you there are NO PICS with Tom's dick on that "passed out" guys face. As far as I know. I was just being a Smart Aleck.

  160. I read this as Robin Williams. He had dark turns in "Insomnia" and "One Hour Photo."

    ReplyDelete
  161. Will Smith with someone from "Where the Day Takes You"? Ensemble cast... And also I recall a long-ago blind from another site about an assaultive closeted star, and people tended to think it was Will. I really hope not. I hate that it's anyone, actually....

    ReplyDelete
  162. Tom Hanks..and he starred with John Heard in "Big". Isn't he the guy who used to beat on his live in girlfriend Melissa Leo years ago?

    ReplyDelete
  163. Tom Hanks/Bruce Willis

If it didn't say the co-star was still living I'd have said Godunov.

  167. I met Kevin Bacon a few years back and he seemed so normal and nice! I have a hard time thinking this could be him...

    ReplyDelete
  168. Don't know if it's Tom Hanks but he's a good guess. My friend works in the industry. She say Tom and his wife Rits like to attend events where they can sit and watch other's having sex. If he's into this kind of kink, who knows

    ReplyDelete
  169. Long time reader, first time commenter. I have a hard time with the Will Smith guess because he is a sex symbol and it seems like the blind should mention something about how people find him attractive. This blind is worded in such a way that it's the guy's likability that helps him lure his victims whereas Will could be a total jerk and still attract plenty of teenagers.

    ReplyDelete
  170. @BlindItemMe Thanks for the welcome! :)

    ReplyDelete
  171. The movie America's Sweethearts was supposedly written for Robert Downey Jr who had to drop out of the film due to rehab (his dark side). RDJ is definitely A list. No idea about the predator but some co-stars are Kiefer Sutherlund, Ryan O'Neal, Mel Gibson, and Tom Sizemore.

    ReplyDelete
  172. "This is Jewist, but Kevin Bacon is Jewish and they as a whole, are just not a crazed, violent people. He would be the first."

Kevin Bacon is not Jewish. He was raised Catholic and is now agnostic or atheist -- I forget which specifically. Kyra is half-Jewish, FWIW.

And I'm pretty sure that even if he WERE Jewish, being such does not preclude someone from being crazed or violent, for goodness sake. People in ALL religions can be crazed or violent, you know.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Also, for those mentioning teen boys: the blind just says "teens." Those could be teen girls. Or both, even.

    ReplyDelete
  174. "Wasn't there a BI a while back about one of Hank's sons being extremely brutal to a woman? And then he covered it up to save his image or something?

"If this is Hanks, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Chet was a popular guess, yes, but the blind was not revealed, so there is no proof about the apple OR the tree. :-/

    ReplyDelete
  175. Obviously Bruce Wills. Die Hard with out his movies.
Cybil Shepard being the sexually violent friend.

    ReplyDelete
  176. I think Will Smith is the best guess. There have been lots of Will/Jada guesses over the years and I could see many people happily following his smiling face to a hotel. Not just teenagers.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Will Smith
    -Co$ (they cover his indiscretions)
-rents a condo on location when filming
Co star:Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys
-a Mid-Atlantic Golden Gloves boxing contender
-In late 1996, Lawrence's Martin co-star Tisha Campbell filed a awsuit against Lawrence and the show's producers, claiming that Lawrence sexually harassed her to the point where she feared for her life.
-"we would die without"- Men in Black series.

    Not Tom Hanks. I hope:)

    ReplyDelete
  178. I can't picture teens jumping at the chance to bang Tom Hanks.

    ReplyDelete
  179. Rain Wilson?? He married, with kids, and he was in the movie American sweetheart. I think it him,or Eric Balfour. Eric Balfour is hot, so I can see teens going for him.

    ReplyDelete
  180. this blind is about a pedophile so Enty, call the police! this guy is a sexual predator

    ReplyDelete
  181. I agree with the Ben Stiller guess. In one of the pictures of him and Christine Taylor Enty says he still doesn't know how he got her. That may be because of his dark side, and the things he does behind her back. Also I think he portrays himself as quite the family man, plus many of his movies are classics, at least in the comedy genre.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Women of any judge will jump at the chance to bang any A-lister regardless of looks. Does not matter. If Danny DeVito was A-list, he could get hot teenage girls by the dozen.

I think it's Hanks. He strikes me as the type.

Stiller has a history of domestic violence, doesn't he?

Sedgwick and Bacon are known for having a randy sex life together, aren't they? Or at least so they claim. He always seemed like he was perfectly happy being wild and kinky with his appropriately-aged wife.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I haven't seen this one yet, so Tom Hanks/Gary Sinise? (Forrest Gump)

Who did TH star with in Big?

Kevin Bacon & Keifer Sutherland? (Flatliners)

Just some (rather late) random thoughts.
