Melissa Rycroft Now Owns A Disco Ball

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani are your new Dancing With The Stars champions. They beat fellow all stars Shawn Johnson and Kelly Monaco and also proved that someone who was on the Bachelor can actually win the show. I am happy Melissa won, but I am thrilled about Tony winning. He has been trying and trying for 14 seasons to win and he finally did. Melissa can probably turn this into some kind of one season reality show if she wanted or she could divorce her husband and go on Bachelorette. Nah, I don't think that is going to happen.

  1. does brooke need to leave te show for any of her medical treatment? melissa would be a good step-in. i was glad she won. unlike shawn (who was also really good) melissa could actually do something with this. the cast seemed to all get along and really like each other.

i like melissa. she's so cute, and that girl can dance!

  2. I didn't watch this season. Thrilled for Tony. He's awesome, and she seems really sweet, too. Her body is smokin.

  3. I'm pleased with the results. She certainly deserved the win and was a great sport about the whole thing. I liked Shawn, too. Unfortunately I'm not so fond of Derrek and I'm thrilled for Tony.

I didn't watch the show, so my comments will be strictly based on the above photo : she looks quite emaciated as if skin has been stretched tautly over bones, particularly her legs and hips. While she is pretty, her body could rip a paramour to shreds.

  6. Love them! Was rooting for Melissa and Tony the whole time. I also like Shawn but Derek kind of bothers me a bit. Didn't care for Kelly Monaco, love Val but he looked stupid for kissing her ass every two seconds and she looked so bothered and uncomfortable.

  7. What Dee said, I have no idea who half the 'stars' are on such shows.

  9. @themagicspork The best part of this season was watching Kelly and Val together. You could tell that it took all of her self control not to roll her eyes every time Val talked about their "special relationship" and "unconditional love." Poor guy is in for a rude awakening now that the season is over!

  11. I was convinced that Derek had a win guaranteed him this season contractually, since he's leaving. Thank goodness they didn't do it!! He's seriously creepy, and a bit deranged about the potential of his movie career (infomercials).

  12. I'm so glad they won! I've loved her since her first season ... she's always been very humble and unpretentious. And Tony is by far my favorite pro. They definitely deserved it.

As far as her "emaciated" look ... that's just a bad picture. She looks stunning and is in phenomenal shape. All of the stars drop weight throughout the course of the show due to the grueling schedule and 8+ hour workouts per day. Melissa became incredibly toned and still looked healthy IMO ... unlike Kelly Monaco who looks like she's snap in half at any time.

  13. Is it really Dancing with the STARS if the average person reads this post and can't identify a single celebrity in it?

  14. I'm with Me....I would LOVE for Melissa to step in as a permanent co-host with Tom Bergeron. Brooke has ZERO personality. I was SO glad that Melissa and Tony won. I was so afraid that Kelly was going to win.

  18. I feel like the ending was manipulated by production and ABC, but I am tickled to see Tony finally win. He's had some of the worst dancing partners EVER and has always busted his behind to make them as good as possible. Happy to see him finally get a good partner and win something.

  19. I'm glad Tony finally won! Melissa and Shawn and Apolo were my favorites. Watching Val and Kelly could get nauseating at times. That boy is in for a big letdown when she won't take his calls.
