  3. Rashida is the perfect proof that not all celeb's kids have to turn out assholes.

  4. Other examples : Duncan Jones (David Bowie's son) is a talented director, Jesse Dylan (Bob's eldest son, photograph and occasionally director). Frances Cobain looks rather balanced for somebody who had Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love for parents. Audrey Hepburn's children are much involved in charity.

Raven: Yes! My favorite skit ever. But I LOVE that song that puts the Christopher Walken " I need more Cow Bell" skit to music.
" I got a FEVA, an dee Onlee Pus-KRIP-shun is MOWA COW BELLL!!
    Frickin love that song.

I like her basically and she seems like a decent human being as far as celeb kids go, so my sniping seems a bit petty but here goes. I just don't like a couple of things about her: She outed John Travolta, and while his personal sexual status is the worst kept secret in Hollywood, it still remains that it's not fair for someone on the inside of Hollywood to broadcast it to the general media that so and so is Gay. A blind item is one thing, because it's saying it indirectly, but truly It's up to the person to let it be known. It's such a personal thing. Given the incidents with the pilot and the masseuses: that's unavoidable and he really should have been more discreet, but that doesn't mean that an insider can just say, well we ALL KNOW that he's gay in hollywood. It's just inappropriate, none of her business and mean girlish. The only reason she has a mic to her face is because she's Quincy Jones's daughter, that's it. She just won the genetic lottery, and while she may have talent, of which I am uneducated not having seen her material, how many other aspiring screenwriters would have been given the access that Quincy Jones's daughter would have? Not none of them. So her little: "Look at me I'm so talented and special and neat" is about as convincing and impressive as Nikki Hilton doing the same damn thing for selling purses. Youre famous because of someone else, and you're living off that successful persons money to have so much free time to be an "arteest" and put yourselves in our faces. Don't be that proud of yourself biotch.

  8. Someone is blaming Rashida Jones for outing John Travolta? You have got to be kidding me.

Of all the people, famous and nonfamous alike, who have opined over the past few decades that John Travolta isn't straight, you think it's *Rashida Jones* who outed him? Please, John Travolta outed himself with his performance in Grease. Just watch it with today's eyes.

BTW, nepotism is alive & well in Hollywood. Rashida is perfectly low key about the whole thing. It may have opened doors for her in the beginning, but she's been getting parts on her own for a long, long time now. She's no more privileged than the rest of them, and she certainly doesn't flaunt it.

Funny thing is, I'm not really a fan. I feel very neutral about her. But she doesn't deserved to be singled out for nepotism or outing John Travolta, for crissake.

  9. Travolta's homosexuality is a barely hidden secret. Anybody, famous or not, could have made the same remark, which is that he would be much happier if he came out. You don't need to be famous or to know Travolta in person to voice the idea. You just can't print it, or you get sued.

  10. Didn't Carrie Fisher (sorry, not sure how her last name is spelled) out him before Rashida?

  11. @ SpunkyPR: yes she did on the Joy Behar show on CNN. I can't believe I know this. Around that time Gawker ran a couple of pieces on him and I swear every guy that ever hooked up with him was blabbing with names, dates, and times.

  12. Correction: actually she did it first in the Advocate then everywhere else.
