Today's Blind Items - They Used Me
This actor is B- list or even C+ list but almost everyone knows who he is because of who he has dated. He has tried to date women but it just is not satisfying for him or the women. He generally finds one woman he can be great friends with and makes it last and last. There are no short term things. When you talk to him there is a lot of bitterness about his past and people he feels took advantage of him and his sexual preferences. He says his relationship with this A list all movie actor was instant and "torrid." Whenever they could find a moment they were all over each other. He says the A lister told him it was the first time he seriously considered coming out and that he was falling in love with our C lister. For months they were inseparable. The A lister then introduced the C lister to another A lister all movie who also was struggling with his own sexual preferences but was equally attracted to men and women but took an instant liking to our C lister and started having sex with him on a regular basis, but only when the A lister was out of LA and could be more private. Both of the A listers were using the C lister on a regular basis and the first A lister continued to profess his love for the C lister and said that he was going to help the C lister with his career and to just stick with him. As part of the help though, he needed the C lister to stay in the background and soon they would be together. So, the C lister did not work as much as he could have and for several years did not have any work because his job was to keep his A lister happy. Then one day, the A lister said that there were too many rumors about the pair and the A lister was leaving and that the C lister was never to call him again and gave him a check for $100K. Our C lister had been cruising to B list or A list status and now had no prospects and had given up because of promises made. It took him a year before he could get work again and now he never misses the opportunity to talk about how they used him.

ReplyDeleteNot that surprised that the C lister would see two men at the same time, as he couldn't travel with Toothy/Jake on location without fanning the rumours. Ted always said Jake's not coming out was due to pressure from his management - the pay off would fit that scenario.

ReplyDeleteThis very much reminded me of the intense bromance centering around Lance Armstrong and his many man friends. BUT I don't think this is about that simply because Lance is not an actor (duh) and I would consider him to be A+.
Is Austin Nichols B-? The only reason I know him is from Ted C, I don't actually know any work that he has done.
I wish Toothy Tile and Grey Goose would just live happily ever after, whom ever they may be.

There were a lot of rumors about Austin and Jake and then poof, they stopped being seen together. I think they are definitely two of the three. Austin dated Sophia for a while and I think dated someone else long term before her. Could Elijah Wood or Jordon Joseph Levitt? The second A-lister is bisexual, right?
ReplyDelete@SweetDee - Ted Casablanca from The Awful Truth on the E! website used to write blind items all the time, using monikers such as "Toothy Tile" to disguise their identity. A very common guess (and I think semi-confirmed by a family member?) for Toothy was/is Jake Gyllenhaal, and Grey Goose was his partner Austin Nichols.

ReplyDeleteI also don't feel that sorry for the C lister. While the first A lister seemed to be using him but professing love for him, he was also seeing another man. Sounds like the C lister was also using the two A listers to get somewhere.

ReplyDeleteYour browser can control the colors. The page for change is in options under content for Firefox ( menu>tools>options>content>colors ). You have to turn off the overide selection at the bottom. It should be similar in other browsers.

ReplyDeleteI don't think it can be Austin and Jake, because a couple weeks ago, when Jake was photographed holding hands with a new girl, Austin was also in the photos, I would think if this was them, they wouldn't still be around eachother??

Drew is definitely name recognized, or however you say it. We'd certainly know who she is, and that he's the guy with her. Did he have any BFF's that he was no longer seen with? Need to google that....
ReplyDeleteYes, Jake and Austin were recently papped together. I thought of the Jake/Matt/Lance bromance, but they hung out for a summer, not years. Lucas Haas/Dicaprio is a good guess, but Lucas hasn't really dated anyone famous. Maybe this is an older actor.

ReplyDeleteI remember thinking it was odd that the Mac guy was hanging with celebrities of that caliber. At that time I forgot he was also in jeepers Creepers and other movies. But I totally think this is justin Long. Especially since throughout their entire relationship Drew constantly said they were great friends and people wouldn't understand their relationship... Hint hint...she was a willful beard. lol
Wes had a heroin problem for a few years, which is why he was out of the spotlight.

ReplyDeleteThere was a 'slow patch', but that's cos he was in 85 episodes of Ed so I assume he was focused on the show rather than on movies over that period, although he still did a couple.
He does some off-beat stuff so perhaps your thinking he isn't doing anything is actually him doing stuff that's off your radar.
He reminds me of my first proper boyfriend who of course I was madly in love with, so I have kind of a soft spot for him :)

Russ-In America he is mostly known for dating K.Perry/Geri Halliwell/everyone in England.
Russ was extremely nice about Tom, while normally he is an ass about religion and Tom is an ass and the king (Queen) of crazy anthics because of religion. *suspicious look*
Only problem; Russ doesn't do long term (make it last and last)and i don't see him being friends with a woman, without involving the peen. and he has been in the public eye steadily.
And tbh, i think he is straight.

DeleteI think Jared Leto is the best guess so far....he's dated all the starlets I can think of (Lindsey, Britney, Paris, Tila Tequila, etc, and some real actresses too: Sharon Stone, Cameron Diaz), but he's not a big name himself. (Lukas Haas may be a C lister but who has he dated?)

I just saw a story on Perez (I know) that made me think of this blind. Apparently Stephen Dorff and Owen Wilson have been on vacation together in Rio for a week. Everyone knows Stephen, he dated Pam Anderson. He once had a promising career and is making somewhat of a comeback now.
