I was having a conversation with someone just the other day about Brooke Mueller and how it seems that Denise Richards is taking care of Brooke's kids and then someone reminded me that Brooke and Lindsay Lohan used to share the same PR person. So, if you think about it in that context, then when the world says Brooke Mueller had an overdose, but her PR person says it was just a routine 911 call because Brooke was unresponsive during a nap, then you say, umm, I am trying to remember the last time I took a nap and needed to call 911. Yeah, my guess is that you haven't. Lets say Brooke was unresponsive after a nap and 911 was called. Don't you think when the paramedics got there they could get her to wake up from the nap? I admit it is a great excuse and this PR guy should win PR person of the year award for having to work with Lindsay recently and now Brooke. Perhaps he could look into working with someone who is not quite so needy.
why does she even have a publicist to begin with? she needs a defense attorney on call. she will never ever raise her kids. denise richards is going to end up raising all of them. you may have intimidated in the past about her past, but you have to admit she has been the one who has stepped up for those kids.
ReplyDeleteI really really like Denise Richards. I watched her reality show a little when it was one and she seemed like a great mom. She is a good person for taking on the responsibility of two more who are not even her children.

ReplyDeleteI like and respect denise. Brooke and charlie's boys are soooo cute. I guess she figures let all the sibs be raised together. As for Brooke, what does it even say when an assisstant sees you " napping" and calls 911 asap? Obviously u hv problems and hv done this frequently. She's hardcore, like lindsay, like charle, like liza. Sad sad sad. Well, you know what Neil says,"Every junkie is like a setting sun." Aint it the truth.
ReplyDeleteOh my. At what point in a publicist's career do they realise, wait a minute, I have Lindsay Lohan and Brooke Mueller as clients, where did my life go so horribly wrong? That career takes bullshitting to an art form. Couldn't wake up from a nap. Because she had been up for six months.
ReplyDeleteI imagine that most work done for either of them is done by a junior publicist. The assistant in other words. Most statements are stock statements, it's about money and nothing more. I use to work for a PR firm in Hollywood.
DeleteThe PR person could find a normal person to represent, but what fun would that be? I'd imagine every press release is a new challenge, especially if the PR person has to answer questions with a straight face after every submission.
ReplyDeleteProviding damage control for people like these should be considered the PR equivalent of combat training -- it's a short-time job that teaches you more about handling difficult situations than years in a normal job. I'd also imagine PR jobs like those might leave you scarred for life.

i don't think it's where you start off, but where you end up...
a friend of mine did some work in her current house when it was under previous ownership. if you're gonna go down for that kind of nap, you could be in a lot worse situations. (if that's where she was.)
anyway, god bless her. i hope she works it out. at least for her kids...
Say what you will about Denise Richards, but what she is doing for those kids is awesome. Imagine having those two as parents, it would be awful. Not only do the twins get to stay together, but they are in a stable environment, with their half siblings. Richards is really doing a stand up job.

ReplyDeleteSomeone who's passed out and unresponsive, who cannot be roused, will be brought to a hospital for examination.
For all I know, Brooke Mueller is a complete junkie, but her story is not as you represent here, and it's internally consistent.

ReplyDeletenow that i think about it, she is getting all that money from charlie after the divorce so she has plenty of money to burn and so does he. brooke is a narcissist and so is charlie. Denise may be the answer to the blind about the adopted kid who disappeared. she might have not anticipated having the other kids and is just overwhelmed. hard to deal with multiple addicts and multiple kids. she has done a great job and the fact that the maternal grandma is letting her raise them, that speaks volumes to how she is taking care of all of the kids. You go Denise!!

too bad people can't be forced into rehab. i have a friend whos daughter is on a down hill path. she recently hit a parked car and ended up being ejected from her car. after she got out of the hospital (nothing broken, but seriously messed up her face and entire left side), she was arrested. her attorney told her to go to rehab, which she did. but she left early (in a cab), and came home drunk.

ReplyDeleteThe black stuff on her hands could have been charcoal given while pumping her stomach. I would think if she burned her hands while smoking, it would look different. Burns usually cause nasty blisters. I would imagine they would clean the wounds, rather than leaving that stuff on it.
