Nick Lachey Goes Crazy

I guess even boy banders have their angry side. Yesterday it was revealed that Nick Lachey had been kicked out of a San Diego Chargers game for trash talking a fan. Not a big deal, and we only had the side of Nick to go by so it did not seem that bad. Now though, several fans have come forward to say that Nick was an a-hole and that he choked a fan and called his wife a f**king b**ch and that is the reason Nick and his friends got kicked out and no one else. According to TMZ, Nick had been trash talking the guy about a jersey of a player he was wearing that played for about 5 years in the league. The wife then said that the player lasted longer than Nick's boy band. At that point, Nick lost it and called her a b**ch and choked the husband. Nick got kicked out immediately and then Tweeted how proud he was to get kicked out and that it was worth it. The man is said to be filing a police report. Instead of apologizing, Nick had his people say that the event is being blown out of proportion. In other words, it happened, but lets forget about it and I don't want to apologize.

  1. Douchey's lucky to have been kicked out. That fan would have whooped his ass.

  4. Well you'd be mad too if people only remembered you for the fact that you were once married to everyone's 3rd choice if you couldn't get Britney or Xtina.

  5. Yeah, that video can be anyone. Not saying he didn't do it, but I can't determine that from this video.

  6. Nick just shut up and live off Jessica's money...

  8. Actually, that was kind of beyotchy for that woman to say that to him. Did they taunt him until he lost it, or did he start it? I'd like to know. Sports fans are nuttier than Twilight and Rings fans combined.

    1. @Anna according to TMZ, Nick and his buddies are die hard Bengals fans. The other guy had on a past Chargers player jersey which led to the smack-talk on Nick and his buddies part and that's why the wife of the other guy said the "he lasted longer than your boy band" line.

      You're right about sports fans!

  9. Didn't know Instagram had video. That was horrible.

  10. I hate when people heckle fans of the opposing team, it's so silly. Pay attention to the game you went to see and leave everyone else alone! I'm troubled by the fact that he said he couldn't be more proud.... Of what exactly?

  11. Can't see shit in that video, got motion sickness from watching it.

Also, didn't need video evidence that Lachey is Douchey.

  12. He tried to choke someone and the police weren't called? What kind of security is that?

  13. I like Nick but the wife is my kinda gal. Nice low blow.

  17. Anyone else find it funny that a boy bander went ape shit at a sporting event? Oh, the irony....

  18. Anyone who marries chicken of the sea has questionable judgement. He seemed like the sane one. I wonder why people get so heated over this stuff. Sure, I will fight you to the death if you say coke is better than pepsi but sports?

  19. As an a LSU fan now living in Oregon, let me tell you that sports fights are not something rare. Google worst college sports fans and you'll find LSU at #1 and OSU at #5.

My theory is that it's like politics and playgrounds. My guy/team is the best and yours SUCKS and you know it, you booger-eating doodyhead!

  22. Hey the truth hurts! I guess her remark hit a little too close to home. I swear stars are such big babies sometimes, especially when their star fades. Did she hurt your liddle feewings? With the truth? 98 degrees wasn't big for more than five years. They were a hanger on in the boy band years, it was backstreet boys, nsync, 98degrees, then the other ones that I can't remember. From 94-99 in to maybe 00. Those steroids sure do make guys fiesty. Easy big fella.

  24. the wife IS a bitch if she said that.
Women who smack talk and then let their men take care of it are fucking cowards and lame. One of these days a woman is gonna knock you in the teeth for being mouthy. I love how regular people think they can shit talk celebs to their face and nothing is gonna happen. Hello, they are human too.

  25. He started it. I think he earned that zinger from her. And then overreacted.

  26. As a huge football fan and a a lifelong Charger fan, I really can't blame Nick on this one. Games get rowdy and crap happens. He was in San Diego where the tailgating is legendary and our team was losing which makes Charger fans super grouchy and volatile. Truth be told, this crap happens all the time. No punches were thrown. I love my Bolts but I have to defend Nick on this one.

  27. I really don't want the US to descend into European-style sports madness where fans of opposing teams literally beat each other in the streets. Sadly we seem to be headed in that direction.

  28. My bf is a HUGE fan of sports, even if his favorite players suck, he'll wear their jerseys proudly. So I had to laugh at the wife saying "At least he lasted longer than your band". If for no other reason than I think she was being generous by calling 98 degrees a 'band'.

  29. DBzee, as a former Portland resident I have to ask, are they (Trailblazers) still referred to as the Jailblazers? It's not just the fans who go nuts ;)

Jax, he was probably already talking shit back, since he was the one wearing the jersey. It's just her burn that made the news. That was (most likely) the straw that broke the camel's back. For someone who talks so much shit on here you might want to be careful what you wish (on others) for.

  31. As a huge sports fan and I would hope I'd said the same thing the wife did. You don't walk into someone else's house (stadium) and talk trash like that. If you do, expect things will get ugly fast.

We travel to other stadiums every baseball season, including my team's biggest rivals, and we keep it polite and respectful because that is what you do when you visit another park/stadium/rink/etc.

Nick deserved more than getting kicked out in my opinion and I'd like him to come to Oakland and see how Raiders fans treat that kind of behavior.

  32. I think her line is funny. And she's allowed to talk back if he's been harassing her husband.

Sport does crazy things to people. I'm a fairly timid person but I turn into an animal when I'm at a live sporting event. I don't condone abusing fans and physical violence.

  33. I can't defend nick anymore after he tweeted trash talking after the fight with the raiders the week before. Heust be bored from doing nothing.

  34. @Just Another Girl Agreed!! I'm a die hard sports fan and have been to some of the biggest rivalry games to boot. I have never, or would ever talk trash to the opposing team. Especially in their own house!!! That's d#^k behavior. I hate those people, it gets so bad that sometimes it ruins the game/match etc for me. Just go and cheer for your team, that's what I do. Who cares who you cheer for, just cheer and enjoy it!

  36. This one reminds me of the Axl Rose "Control your woman dude" rant at Kurt Cobain backstage at the VMA's years ago. Axl's model girlfriend asked Courtney Love if she was a model too. Love answered "No, are you a brain surgeon?". Courtney Love vs dimwitted fashion model. That's pay per view material there.

  37. Why are deeply closeted men so angry?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Wondering why all the hate for nick? Who is he bothering? I dont get it.

  39. It would be one thing if Lachey was just making fun of the team. But he insulted that guy for no good reason; the guy was minding his own business.

  40. @ZBDee - ha, I'll have to agree with you on the LSU comments. My husband has all kinds of football stories but the worst I heard was him getting peed on in them in Tiger Stadium. :-) Every team has jerky fans though, to be fair.

I'd be willing to bet both parties were at fault.
