Simon Cowell Wants Rihanna & Chris Brown As X Factor Judges

I know that with LA Reid departing X Factor after this season that the rumors will start flying about judges for next season and the first one is something sure to be controversial. Apparently Simon Cowell wants both Rihanna and Chris Brown to be judges for the show. Yeah, with me that lands with a thud, but it sure would bring ratings to the show. Can you imagine them having to work with each other everyday and the smirk on Simon's face if he managed to land them? That would of course mean that Britney Spears or Demi Lovato would also be shown the door. I think of all the judges on the show, Demi would want to keep the gig most of all because it is a place for her to make some money and keep in the spotlight and I'm not sure she would be able to do so based solely on her music although, I will admit to cranking up my mom's tinny minivan radio and singing along to Skyscraper.

  1. Good god. No, no, just NO! Rhianna, perhaps. For the love of god, no Fist Brown.

  2. Please, Simon is just flapping his lips.

Those two like to come and go as they please, so there's not a chance in hell that they would commit to something where they had to show up every day or three times a week for months.

  3. Rihanna, Chris and Britney. Simon would be moving X Factor to a soundstage in Crazytown. I know I would watch.

  5. Right, they're as likely to do it as Katy Perry and John Mayer, or Taylor Swift and the One Direction kid or whoever she's dating next week.

  9. I would be offended if he put them on there. I don't know what happened to me but I watched the first episode of X Factor out of Britney curiosity and got suckered in to every episode. I love the show. No way would I watch 1 episode with these two on it.

  11. Lease, for the love of integrity, lose Britney and Demi. Demi's too young and inexperienced and Britney's too vapid.

Ok, he can afford a washed up Brit and Demi, but can he afford two of the biggest r and b names in the biz today? With their ego's do you think they'll each take any less than Mariah's salary? Think again, the shows not that big enough of a hit to pay them. It would be flushing money down the drain.

  13. I would not watch if they were on. I may not watch AI this year if all they show is fighting between the 2 new judges. I am tired of the stunt casting.

What possible reason would these 2 have other than $ to be on--they don't care about anything to do with talent.

    Bad idea, Simon.

I would like Demi to go away--she was an ok judge but a terrible mentor. Britney actually did a pretty good job and got better at it as she went along, I would not mind seeing her on again.

  14. When they playfully disagree on a contestant Chris is gonna raise his backhand, smile, look at the audience and everyone says his hilariously cute catchphrase in unison:"One of these days Rihanna,BANG ZOOM straight to the moon!" Then he holds her hand and says "Baby, you're the greatest!" And everyone awws and ratings happen.

Cue the whiner complaining about how we don't pick on Charlie Sheen.

    POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!

  15. Simon has become such a publicity hog. He is really sounding desperate. I'm sure they would make good judges bc they were both children that came up in the music industry but of course he is using the current scandal to publicize his failing shows.

  16. I never was a Honeymooners fan...I always found that show offensive...as I do most of the sit coms from that era. Women were treated like silly little insignificant nothings, who either cried over something moronic or were sent out shopping for a new hat/shoes/purse to appease their 'spells'.

Simon Cowell likes to create a buzz and stir things up. Chances are it is only going to get worse before they announce who is going to be next season's judging panel.

    1. Are you kidding about honeymooners? Alice ran the show, got them out of a million jams, and somehow, anything they ever needed was right in the top drawer of that dresser!! Alice rules!!

These shows are a joke now. It's all abt the judges not even the contestants or competition anymore. It's over for those shows

  18. This show is a sinking ship and yet Simon Cowell acts like it's the biggest hit on television and all the most famous stars are desperate to be on it. He needs to stop with this bullshit.

I have no doubt both Brit and Demi are going to be fired. Demi wasn't very famous in the first place and didn't get any star power from this job, and Britney didn't bring in the crazy like everyone was hoping (which I thought was a disgusting thing to hope for, but that's another post).
