Tim Tebow & Camilla Belle Have Split

I figure that Tim Tebow has another year, maybe two more in the NFL if he sticks to the quarterback position. No matter how much he prays, nothing is going to change that. Well, I guess if God gives him a stronger arm and makes him faster and shows him how to read defenses then he could stick around longer, but that is really sucking up a lot of God's time. In addition to his deficiencies as a quarterback, Tim is also without the love of Camilla Belle and she can love. She has shown in the past that she is willing to even go out with a Jonas or two so you know Tim Tebow was nothing she could not handle. Apparently the two just could not make it work. I think Camilla's work was done in her mind and she will move on to the next. If you run into Camilla she is not shy about talking about people in her past and is incredibly nice.

  1. The only way someone like Tim Tebow is ever going to be happy is to find someone exactly like himself. I don't think anyone will be good enough.

  2. Heres my comment: he is boring, and her name is fabulous!

  3. He never had a prayer. ;)

  4. Is Ent hinting about a blind there at the end? Chatty actress who spills about her conquests?

  5. @rejectedcarebear or the tweener who had brothers (most guessed Miley)

  6. @rej - I think so!

I think Tim will settle down with a nice, no-name girl eventually. I can't blame him for being a bit caught up. Especially because Enty's making it sound a wee bit like CB goes out with these guys for attention.

  7. @Cheryl- I'm thinking of the one where the actress lost her virginity to an older co star when she turned 18. I think CB and Daniel Day Lewis where the guesses.

  8. Tebow has bigger problems than losing a girlfriend---like losing a job! The Jets have pretty much benched him.

    ReplyDelete
  9. @Henriette - The Jets pretty much had no intention of ever playing him, because if he gets a certain amt of snaps he's due a big payout.

  10. @Amber
Yeah, but can he get another starting job? He's going to back-up land.

  11. This guy. I have some real issues with Mr. Tebow.

  12. his teammates HATE him. he's not a good quarterback. i don't see how he starts anywhere---there's nothing to recommend him.

so glad his 15 minutes is just about over.

  13. Oh wow that was probably her fastest bearding job EVER! Hope Tebows camp paid her well.

  14. What has Tebow done to grant such hatred? He is a good kid who might not be the best NFL QB. However, he is a good role model for kids that like to hero worship NFL players. Definitely the opposite of Jevon Belcher. Give the kid a break! He is going to be a success in life, but it probably won't be on the football field!

  16. he's a great role model for sanctimonious assholes. i don't like his attitude towards women. he wants someone with a 'servant's heart?' uh, no.
i think he got carried away with finding himself the darling of the evangelicals and drank too much of that kool-aid.

    ReplyDelete
  17. @nancer - The "servant's heart" term is a common one used in churches. It doesn't mean someone who will serve him, it's meant as a person who actively looks for ways to help ("serve")people.

  18. pink_palace, it's because he's a Christian and is vocal about it. Merely mentioning your beliefs (that you aren't trying to push onto others) is enough to send the tolerant, open minded progressives into a frenzy of hatred. Funny how that tolerance and acceptance is only extended to those who think and believe what they do.

If Tim Tebow wants a woman with a "servant's heart", then so? How exactly does it affect YOU? Why do you care what two consenting adults do in a relationship? Isn't that the line the progressives use on "alternative" relationships? So why wouldn't it apply here? It's always amusing to see people screaming about how Christians don't practice what they preach and are huge hypocrites while being huge hypocrites themselves. But they don't see it because for some reason they think they are morally righteous and superior...the same thing they accuse the Christians of! Then the name calling starts. It's so ridiculous, stupid and childish.

  19. PS I think Tebow is overrated and I hate evangelicals. Their slavish worship and devotion to Israel is nauseating and is literally destroying the US. But I hate hypocrisy and outrage over stupid shit even more.

    ReplyDelete
  20. "Their slavish worship and devotion to Israel"

The irony there being that they know that their angry God will kill every citizen of Israel who doesn't join them in the end. But in the meantime the State of Israel is helping them keep their End Times fantasy alive. "Thank you Mr NetinYahoo. Sorry you have to burn later. Or get Left Behind."

    ++++

He won't be happy until he finds someone exactly like his mom.

  22. I remember Camilla from "Practical Magic"...I think she was Sandra Bullock's character as a child...

  23. I wonder who did the actual ending? I love the guy, but I think he's in deep denial about his orientation.

  24. Unfortunately, Jacksonville residents want him to come play for the Jags. And with a whopping 2 wins they need the help. It's all I ever hear or see on FB.
Tebow has let the "fame" go to his head. Asking for a fee to show up and speak at a church? Food and speaking to underprivileged children wasn't good enough for him. And don't get me started on his mom.
I can't wait till the day he fades into obscurity and is walking around the mall in all Gators clothing hoping to get recognized.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I also read he and his mom were a piece of work. Didn't we also read he's a wild one off the field and not so religious then? Don't like hypocrites. Just be real and let the chips fall.

  26. I heard this morning on the radio he was going to the CFL. Not sure what that is, but he's done with the Jests. I mean Jets. :P

  29. I sort of had a similar feeling to 888. I see people stan for celebrities no matter what. They go to jail, get DUIs, do drugs, cheat on their partners, are generally assholes. It does seem like being Christian is unforgivable to the public.
Perhaps it's because once one puts their beliefs out openly people expect them to be perfect all the time, which is impossible.
Just thoughts. I really don't know much about Tim, but I always thought he was a nice change from the ballers that put the Basketball Wives and big booty hoes on the map.

  30. Give me a break. Christians are not being persecuted. He is a tool, that is why he is disliked. Get over yourselves.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't think it's about Christian persecution, more about being so freaking sanctimonious and OBVIOUS with your religious beliefs. The Bible talks about praying in public and praying in a closet - the man who prays in public is looking for attention, the man who prays in a closet is looking for God. That whole kneeling on the football field, to me, is praying in public.

"Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them." (Matthew 6:1)

  32. He and his mother were in some choose life commercial before one football game, which kind of annoyed me.

    ReplyDelete
  33. He's a half decent quarterback, better than some of the starters out there right now - though as much as I hate to say it, Henne is doing okay at Jacksonville.

    ReplyDelete
  34. What about his mother? Do tell!

    ReplyDelete
  35. As a lifelong Broncos fan who was thrilled to see Tebow's exit? I can tell you my dislike for him isn't really centered on his beliefs or his sanctimony - its because he wouldn't throw when he was supposed to, tried vainglorious running plays when he had wide open receivers, and turned over the ball regularly. Pretty sure Peyton Manning is a Christian and still thrilled he's with us instead of that flash-in-the-pan.

    ReplyDelete
  36. He could worship the devil for all I care. It is what he does with is religion and how he uses it gain favor with a certain demographic. I feel the same with any super religious celeb. Do you actually live to serve God? Or are you using the Bible to make everyone like you more because you say you have the power of God within you?

Religions are like dicks. It's cool to have one, it's cool to be proud of it. But don't whip it out and shove it down my throat every chance you get.

  39. I always thought Camilla Belle was gay. If she's making money as a beard and keeping her preference out of the press it comes down to "don't hate the playette hate the game".

  42. It bothers me when celebrities such as Tim Tebow, use public displays of faith to create or maintain their "brand".

A grown man wearing a purity ring is ridiculous. It's not the idea that bothers me - it's the lack of modesty and humility. These traits seem to be somewhat lacking in Tim Tebow.

I think he would get a lot more respect from everyone if he didn't use his faith to draw attention to himself.

    ReplyDelete
  43. From someone who has known the Tebow family for years, it is disgusting to hear such sanctimonious garbage written by people who oppose the Tebows and their faith. Where did you read the news about his mom, some scandal mag?!? Be assured that if you ask anyone who truly knows them, and isn't a hater, they will all tell you that you are wayyy off base! Yes, they are Christians. Yes, they are pro-life. But instead of listening to the facts - his mom's doctor reccommended she abort him and she said it was against her beliefs - well good for her! He is a fine young man and doctors are not always right. I would be proud of my son if he turned out like Tim! The Tebows may have a strong faith, but they are very accepting of others. If they weren't, his parents would not have led such an incredible journey as missionaries in the Phillipines. Say what you want about his football career. He was great in college, but I have never expected much from him in the pros. However, there is nothing wrong with him looking to find a girl who shares his same faith. As for Tim charging to appear at a church, that is against his nature. Yes, he wasn't a good fit for the Jets, but that team is falling apart at the seams. This is a good family who never asked for the limelight. Tim's talent as a natural athlete brought the press. As for those who complain about him mentioning his faith - what do you think is the number one question the press asks him about?!? Quit feeding into the crap and blame the media. And, I don't plan on responding further. It isn't that I don't care what others think, it is because there is no way I am going to change the mind of people and it hurts to see people talking so much crap about a family I know and love. If I didn't feel so strongly, I would keep my mouth shut, but this family is getting a bad rap. If Tim by chance read this, he would probably laugh and say something to the effect of, let them believe what they want, God knows my heart, and that really is all that matters. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

  44. It's funny, no one ever seems to mind when someone else is "spiritual" or claims they believe in God. They develop problems as soon as someone "acts" like they believe. And I don't mean acts like phony acting, but actually alters their behavior to conform to what they consider holiness. *That* is a problem. Tim Tebow is actually trying to live a holy life. Cut him some slack.

  45. @Pink_Palace

I never dissed Tim Tebow as a football player. Anyone who plays in the NFL is no failure as far as I am concerned. I'm sure he would be welcomed to the CFL. He would have quite a pay cut though.

I think it is a difference in style of the Evangelical and mainstream churches. Evangelicals are loud and proud. Some people feel uncomfortable with the notion of a public figure using their faith as a sales tool. There are lots of Christian athletes, but they are more modest and are humbled by their beliefs rather than using them to stand out from the crowd.

  46. From what I've read his football IQ is pretty legit. Maybe he can be a coordinator or somethin. It's the blatant fact that he needs to work on his throwing motion and he refuses to do so that's killing me...spend a summer with a legit QB coach and THEN maybe we can talk...

  47. @Pink_Palace - Tim, we know it's you.. let go man, let go.
