I'm not usually one to write about pregnant celebrities, but in this case I will make an exception. Alec Baldwin must really be crazy about Hilaria Thomas because I did not think he would ever have another child. Alec and small children do not really go well together and considering that the pair will probably end up divorced at some point I thought his next experience with children would either be in a movie or if Ireland ever has kids. His daughter, not the country. When you name a child after a country does that mean you have to continue that trend? Can we expect a Scotland or something more exotic like Cambodia? In any event, In Touch says the pair are expecting.
I hope they work out. I like them together. She seems good for him.

ReplyDeleteHilaria is actually the original Roman version of the name Hilary, so while it's definitely offbeat, it doesn't bother me in the least. Here's hoping everything goes well for all of them, eh?

ReplyDeleteConsidering she's a yoga instructor and very fit, that picture makes me think she's pretty far along. She looks at least five months. I'm hoping this baby is out of love and not for financial security and that their marriage can last but we are talking about Hollywood where divorce is as trendy as the Birkin bag.

ReplyDeleteAnother 'country' name that's been used for girls for many years is India (think India Wilkes in Gone With the Wind). China has also been used. If it's a boy, hard to say, although maybe after a state a la Reese Witherspoon?

I think "Ireland" was Kim's idea. Since Hilaria is spanish I bet she names the kid something spanish - Argentina (lol).
ReplyDeleteShe is the best guess for the wife that now wants to be famous? I believe it. At the Emmy's pre-show interviews she was right beside him commenting and answering questions he was being asked. This is "anchor" baby. She's gunning for 18 years of not needing to work.
I love Alec and hope for the best for him but I'm surprised given his last marriage he didn't see through this charade of hers.
I like these two and I think she's good for him. I'll bet this child will mellow him and he'll be a better dad this time around. Also as much as Hilaria looooooves the spotlight at least she isn't crazy like Kim B. Remember how long it took him to want to be married again. She's definitely not the same as Kim.

ReplyDeleteHilaria *really* wants to be famous, and she will be acting like she frickin' invented the concept of a healthy pregnancy so look for the guest spots on GMA and the like on such subjects as yoga during pregnancy, eating healthy during pregnancy, eating healthy while practicing yoga during pregnancy, giving birth while in the firefly pose, teaching your baby to do yoga, ad nauseum.
