Apparently this B list celebrity/socialite with A list name recognition will do anything at this point to stay in the limelight and get her fashion line funded. Her boyfriend is filthy rich. She is so willing to put up with anything that this past week he sent her down to the pool for an hour while he had sex with an escort. He told her that is what he was going to be doing. She put up with it. Who does this???

DeleteI think the rule with these people is never spend your own money on a venture you're not certain will return on the investment. Nicky is smart to get other people's money but certainly not too swift to put up with this BS. But then again I'm working today b/c I don't have a trust fund or a rich boyfriend and she's on a beach - so maybe she's the smart one?

Aside from Nicky Hilton (who seems to be the obvious choice), the only other socialite I know of who is starting a fashion line with A list name recognition is Jamie Hilfiger. Her boyfriend is Igal Dahan who is a jewelry maker and makes bank apparently - that's the only other option I can think of as socialites go.

Bravura, I think Hilfiger is loaded, though. The Hilton's patriarch has always said that 99% of his money was going to his charities and NOT to his family. The Rick Hilton family (Paris's dad) has money enough, but not the hundreds of millions towards billions they all wanted / hoped for. The also live extravagantly, so what they do have wears thin. Paris is by far the most success offspring, more than her parents; her dad's money is from his real estate company. Nicky has wanted to get her fashion line more off the ground for years, and she is dating the Rothchild heir, whose family is worth billions. He's a total sleeze though. This is her.

ReplyDeleteI was just going to say what @PS said. They are rich but not "filthy" rich. That's why they all continue to do promotional and reality shit (when they can get it). Paris is probably the wealthiest-- a direct result of her sex tape sales and the resulting "business" opportunities it afforded her.

And honestly, Nicky is the smarter one, Paris as we all now is a two pump dump. But Nicky has never come off very sexual.
She gets the private planes, champagne and money for her "clothing line" and lets the escort do all the work on her back. Sounds like a win win for Nicky.
The Hilton's wouldn't ever have to worry about funding anything. I don't think Kim K has that trouble either...maybe another K girl?
