Blind Item #5

This former A list comedic television actor and now a B list celebrity was overheard telling one of his friends that he had spent nearly $500K on hookers last year. He says that when he is on the road he likes to have some fun and since he is on the road a lot, he has fun a lot.

    1. Yes I saw him in ft lauderdale last month! He required the venue stop serving alcohol at 8pm (he went on at 9) and it was very disappointing!

    2. What's with the alcohol thing? Is that a normal thing? To stop hecklers?

Smart man. As the wife of a comedian, let me tell you,, there's nothing worse than a bunch of drunk a-holes who have come to a comedy show to scream at the comic performing.

  6. Kevin James? I really hope this isn't him!

Otherwise, I'm on board with the Seinfeld guess.

  10. @Amber...wow. Maybe too much sex IS a bad thing.

    Meh, too easy.

  11. Seinfeld is B list? If he's B list everyone else mentioned is a C.

  12. Drew Carey is most likely the one. He's admitted on Howard Stern, years ago, that he's a little bit on the twisted side sexually. So this just makes sense.

  13. @lotta NoOOOOOOOO not dave chapelle =[ Love him and his Asian wife.

  14. @dragon, you'll be happy to know he has no tour dates so therefore this can't be him. :)

  15. =]

what about the two other guys from Seinfeld?

  16. A standard element of the hooker situation is paying for the drugs, and escort agencies do a huge business in cocaine and ecstasy and Viagra and other pharmaceuticals. Lots of drug addicts call an escort agency as soon as they are in a hotel room, mostly for the hookup. That's where the $500,000 went, I'll wager.

  17. *karen*, thank you about the Romano info. I just knew he was VERY rich---I do not watch network shows, so I didn't know Ray had gotten another job. Thanks.

  18. Libby he was really good in "Parenthood" quite the departure from what we think of him.

Barton, I had no idea about that.

  19. what former A list comedic actor is in DM today?

  20. Drew Carey is famous for getting hookers.

  21. its not seinfeld. not in his make up. also, I would argue that he is still A list. its someone w/an addict personality. seinfeld doesn't have an addict personality.

  22. Ray Romano was very good in Men of a Certain Age also.

  23. Sheesh, I can't believe I finally truly got one. This is Bob Saget. He made a ton of money from Full House and now does a lot of stand up. He as even alluded as much that this is his preference.

  24. Now I remember, Saget said this on an episode of Entourage and listen to him talk in The Arisotcrats. This is definitely him and he is as raunchy as they come.

  25. I was thinking Sheen but who knows.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I guessing George Lopez but Saget is definitely a possibility.

Hell, they all are, but since the sitecom and Lopez Tonight are relatively recent I'm going with George.

And totally agree about the pharmaceuticals.

  27. Oh, Saget. I grew up watching him play this sweet, wholesome dad on Full House & the guy who made us laugh at home movies of people falling down.

A couple of years ago, I heard a little bit of his stand-up and a little piece of my heart died.

  28. What about Russell Brand? He is on tv (or has been) but not sure if I would could him as an actor on those shows, more a performer/presenter.. Thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Drew Carey. He loooves the strippers and the skanky wimmens. I still can't believe he's hosting Let's Make A Deal. He was horrible at first and is still only marginally better.

Saget is a good guess though I would hesitate to call him A list (c'mon, for Full House???). He was foul in The Aristocrats, just for the sake of being utterly, utterly gross. (I get that that's the point of The Aristocrats, but still...) I've never found him funny. It must irritate the fuck out of him that the Olsen twins are worth a billion dollars. Now THAT'S funny!

  30. Saget is a good guess. Full House won quite a few awards. That would make him A list. He's touring now. Not my kind of funny.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Does Saget really have that kind of money? That surprises me.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't doubt that he does, Agent**It.

    ReplyDelete
  33. immediately thought Saget. Remember, he had Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos on in prime time at the same time. And all those residuals.

    ReplyDelete
  34. A couple of google searches say Bob Saget is worth close to $100 mil dollars.
