Blind Item #6

This B- list television and movie actress is basically cut off from her friends at least as far as texting goes. Her very controlling A list movie actor significant other says that the only time she can text is outside the home. So, inside it is e-mail or phone calls, although those are limited too.

  1. Blake and Ryan again?

  2. Do you have something personal against RR? You always post mean things about him...

  3. If this is Ryan, or whoever it is scares me....

    ReplyDelete
  4. Holy crap. What would Ryan have against texts though? That is very strange

  5. At first I thought it was a security thing, but that doesn't account for the inside the home/outside the home discrepancy.

  6. I think blake will reach her breaking point by the summer. Ryan loves to seclude his women too much. She probably thought it was cute while they were dating and was given a rude awakening after the wedding. Feel somewhat bad for her but in a way its karma for all the taken men she's slept with without any guilt.

  7. Yikes, why is Ryan so mean?
Scarlett really did dodge a bullet with that one.
As far as Blake goes...Honey be careful what you wish for

  9. Do you REALLY think this is Ryan? It says SO, not husband, and there are PLENTY of husbands it could be. Not sure it's Ryan and Blake.

  10. @Silly Girl

I agree. Also, he's had many relationships and never once his ex gfs said bad things about him, quite the opposite...if one wants to find a flaw is that he doesn't seem able to stay on his onw and rushed from one relationship to the next but keeping suggestin he's so manipulative and controling is a totally different thing...

  11. This seems to go with the picture of them walking hand in hand while she talked on the cell phone on daily mail yesterday.

  12. Whoever this is, it's awful. I hope she leaves him. Nothing is worth being a prisoner in your own home.

  13. Yep RR & Blake. He thinks "if she did it with me, she'll do it to me". Why do men make their mistresses their wives? They turn into anxiety ridden, jealous tyrants who accuse their wives of everything under the sun. This situation is a Scorpio nightmare because they are already paranoid, suspicious and over think everything in relationships to begin with. Karma, table for two.

  14. maybe that is a good rule to have for someone who is addicted to texting, the person texting often has no clue how rude they are being when they do it non-stop.
e-mailing and calling require more effort so you tend not to bother as much as texting.

  15. Not sure it is RR. While ScarJo is not a favorite of mine, it doesn't seem like she would date someone like this for very long much less marry him (even though the marriage didn't last long). RR might be a little on the clingy side but I really don't picture him being the next BAG

  16. ok, WHY does everyone think this is them? is there something else out there about him i've missed?

not fans of either one. i just want to know why those 2 are always the response to these BIs.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Could this be maybe two people greatly separated by age?

Like the older, A list hubby doesn't "get" why his young wife likes to text?

Although of course I can't think of who it would be -- Michael Douglas and Catherine? nahhhhhhh

  18. Ugh, chicks nowadays and their texting, I don't blame the guy. You are hanging out with a chick and every 20seconds you hear a noise and she starts batting away at her phone. Pick up the phone, have a conversation, and be done with it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Am I the only one who's not particularly bothered by this? We're all assuming Blake and Ryan. He's a bit older than she is, and perhaps she had the annoying habit of texting while he was trying to converse with her. One of my big pet peeves is going to dinner with someone and they pull out their phone to text someone else while you are mid-conversation. Maybe she just had bad texting manners, and it was irking him

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't know, but if it's Blake & Ryan they won't last long

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't buy it. Unless he confiscates her phone when she enters the house, he can't actually stop her. Maybe he just doesn't want her texting around him (can't blame him). I think this is completely exaggerated.

I agree with Lurky Loo's point that Scarlet Johannsen would not have put up with this for long, and she certainly wouldn't have married him.

    1. ScarJo is a serious fame ho lover. Sean Penn? She dumped RR, remember? And they were never together. She fixed one problem first, then the other.
      But really, Sean Penn.

    2. Makes you wonder what happened between him and Scarjo. She must have pulled a number over on him. He is damaged!

  22. I cant imagine any scenaro where i wld let anyone tell me what to do or when. Such bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  23. This scenario really sucks. Although I am kind of tired of reading blinds about them, sigh.

I don't get it about Ryan Reynolds. He is so bland looking to me. Is there something I'm missing?

  24. This is sad. Blake Lively was quite good in the small part of "The Town". She nailed the Dorchester/Townie accent - which is tough to do (e.g. Diane Lane in "Perfect Storm").

    ReplyDelete
  25. If it's a control issue, not good. However, if it's a request, then I get it. People who constantly ignore the person in front of them to text someone out in the ether is extremely annoying. I remember seeing a few videos of brides or grooms texting at the alter in-between saying their vows. UGH.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Yup...Blake and Ryan. Wow...he's a dick. I hope Blake can escape one day. Her career is basically over.

    ReplyDelete
  27. They're in the pics today. Looks like she might be on the phone.

    ReplyDelete
  28. If it's BL & RR, that would explain the non smartphone.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Good God...that man is not worth all that restriction. Beady eyed creepo. Next time try to get to know your intended before you marry em Blake.

    ReplyDelete
  30. just to play devil's advocate here - what if said actress was a texting "addict" so to speak. As in - texting non-stop day and night (like someone in the young 20s would be prone to do). Maybe said A list husband put his foot down and was like "stop with your face in the phone non stop". Maybe he wants quality time with his wife and found the phone to be an obstacle.

I'm not sure how someone is "cut off" from their friends if they can call or email. To be honest, my husband and I have a similar agreement. No texting after 8pm. that is our time to check in with each other and talk as a couple. No distractions.

This one is a big *yawn* to me. But I guess every blind can't be gold.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Blake and Ryan, but even my husband has gotten annoyed with me and constant texting and being on the phone so lets not jump to conclusions.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sorry @Peregrine White but she was awful in The Town, she sounded like she had marbles in her mouth!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Honestly, I've had to physically pry the damn iphone away from my girl on a few occasions.

If we're having dinner or a conversation and you stop to comment on facebook status updates, my patience withers.

    Team Ryan!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Geez, this isn't as dire as everyone makes it sound. It's not like whoever this is locked in the basement and only allowed out for photo ops. She was just asked not to text at home, presumably when she is with her guy. She still HAS her phone and use email, so it just sounds like SO is rightly bothered by someone texting while he is talking to them.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Enty, stop with the vague BIs. If there are not enough of them in the day, less is more!! Tired of Lindsay, Ryan Reynolds, bieber, and Rihanna. And Demi. Jeez, we wish them well and all but not every blind item can be about them

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yeah, my hubby gets annoyed if I'm on my phone constantly too. Who wouldn't?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Maybe Leann Rimes can hook up with him.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Maybe she keeps going over their text allowance on their cell phone plan

    ReplyDelete
  39. I did think they got married way too fast.

I'm thinking maybe Britney has it better.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm so thankful that my friends don't live on their mobile phones! Once I went to dinner with coworkers when we finished working, and all four of them spent the whole time tapping away. Why bother?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Am I the only one who wonders how Enty keeps getting these supposed Blake & Ryan blinds? A "friend" of hers?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I don't text when my husband(or friends and family) and I are eating out at a restaurant, it's rude, but seriously I would not let someone tell me I couldn't do something. I'm grown. He could suck it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I had an ex who would get pissy when I talked to my friend (a lesbian) on the phone in front of him. In his mind lesbians were attracted to anything with a vagina, I guess. This relationship won't last. This kind of controlling behavior gets to a breaking point. No one should have to deal with this BS.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Maybe at home is their "alone time." This can be interpreted a couple of different ways.

    ReplyDelete
  45. She probably tells this to the Gossip Girl cast members she doesn't want to deal with now that the show is off the air. "Sorry, my husband doesn't let me text or use the phone."

    ReplyDelete
  46. Then again, it probably isn't her at all. I see her with phone in hand quite often in photos.

    ReplyDelete
  47. George Takei had an apropos picture posted about this today:

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, it is rude as hell.

BUT, if the actress allows him to control her like that...then shame on her.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Controlling people can affect you in ways you never thought would be possible. It's hard to get out of and you don't realize quite how much you changed or went along with their behavior until you get out.

Wow Ryan, you're only pushing her away. You jerk.

    ReplyDelete
  51. A few years ago I had a HUGE crush on RR. I'm so glad I got over that because he seems to be a complete psychopath!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Ruh-roh... but I can't will myself to say "poor Blake." She thought she was going to be able to use him as an accessory but it seems he's turned the tables on her.
