ReplyDeleteJust saw "Silver Linings Playbook" and loved it, but maybe I am easy to please, so I changed my mind a bit on Bradley Cooper, although I did like him on "Alias".
Does Bethany think someone is going to mug her and steal her feed sack at the airport? That just looks uncomfortable, unwieldy and rather tacky.

DeleteI met him in Australia last year at his slideshow/moving screening/Q&A thing he tours with. His movies are weird as hell, but he is an extremely nice guy. Show finished at 12 and he hung around after the show for anyone that bought a book of his. There were only about 30 of us there, but he spent about 2 hours getting through us all since he sat there talking/signing/taking pictures with everyone.

Deletebella and barbara are pretty close in age, @sarah. when i was 15, i hung out with a variety of other teens, and a 20yr old friend was not a big deal.
ReplyDeleteI guess it depends on whether you want your 15 year old to act 15 or 25.
DeleteThere's a huge difference in a 15 yr old Disney girl and a 20 yr old who models lingerie for a living. Models at that age are jet setting and sleeping with men twice their age.
At a younger age I may have agreed, but as the mom to a teen and preteen there is a huge difference.
Bella appears to have little to no supervision and is missing out on the developmental milestones of being a teen if she is allowed to do as she pleases.
I had no supervision at her age and would trade every moment of my teen years for strict parents who cared.
@sarah i wouldn't say my parents were real strict but they definitely didn't let me have friends who weren't around my age. 15 and 19 is like 2 different worlds, high school and college. i have to agree, even though it's only 4 years any gap is a big gap in the teens

OMG!! Cold - you wouldn't last a week in the Northeast!! I am jealous of your state :) I have many puffy's and I hate them I hate wearing a ton of clothes:( But I have no choice - spring will be here in 60 looong days :)
ReplyDeleteI think even one night might get too weird for me, libby. I met him in Austin one night and while he seemed a beautifully pleasant man, I'd also just watched his film It Is Fine! Everything Is Fine. Spending extended periods of time with him would probably be far too intense.

Hey I wear a puffy coat!! It's just down, like a snow/ski jacket. It's been actually down to freezing temps for the past two weeks, this is California, we're not supposed to get freezes!!! Brrr, going to get my puffy coat and put it on thank you very much!

Gwen is the coolist chick, but that doesn't negate her bad taste in men. And to Vicki Cupper, perhap Gavin is the fuck up and Gwen shouldn't be with him. That does NOT take away from her COOL.

ReplyDeleteSaw the Terry Richardson (yech) pics of the Palvin girl. In her close ups, her face is quite androgynous. Like if you cut her hair or hid it in a cap she could really could pass for a boy. I think that's a good thing as it might get her work beyond VS. But I can't help but laugh at the thought that Beibs might make for a prettier girl than her, awwww.

Don't be so hard on Adele enty. She hates flying which I assume is why she's staying in the states til the academy awards. It's a foreign country, the paparazzi are going to be hounding her.

After he signed a record I brought (very sweet), I went to leave and promptly walked into a glass door right in front of him. Smooth move, ex lax. I was mortified and he was staring at me the whole time while I struggled to open the door and run away. Sigh.
