  1. Oh my lord that Breaking Dawn movie was awful. I mean beyond awful. My teenager and sister made me! But even my dumb movie loving sis thought it was bad, so you know it was!

  2. I agree with ALL the nominations!!!

  3. Hahaha. Tyler Perry worst actress.

  4. Wow, that is brutal. There are going to be some pissed-off people today.

  5. Vanilla Ice was in a movie?!

  6. haha, they put Streisand in there.

  7. Jessica Biel finally got nominated for something! Lol. They should get dressed up like its the Oscars and go, but she's so bad, I bet she can't even win this. Haha

    ReplyDelete
  8. How dare they nominate Liam Neeson!

I hope Biel wins, she deserves it!

  9. WTF is a Oogielove? God I can't stand Biel.

  10. @rejectedcarebear

Did you see Battleship? Everything about that movie was awful, including Liam's performance.

I didn't see the last Twilight movie but it's staggeringly hard to imagine it could be worse than Battleship was...

In fact I'm trying to think of a worse movie than Battleship that wasn't either a cable original or directed by Uwe Boll and I'm coming up blank.*

  11. Breaking Dawn was a masterpiece compared to the other Twilight movies. I didn't see the other Razzie contenders, but think Ashley Green should get it for worst actress. Worst couple: the toddler and the werewolf.

  12. Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattison are nominated for worst couple? just a few years ago, they were the bestest couple in the whole wide world...and the Twihards were born. They're not a bad couple...but Lautner and the youngin were a terrible couple. Kinda sick actually.

KStew is nominated for worst actress in TWO movies??? That must be some sort of record. I actually think she's one of the worst actresses out there. She and Lindsey Lohan.

  13. No Blohan for Liz and Dick? Was it too late for the nominations or something?

  14. I say it loud and proud. I LIKED One For the Money! Heigl wasn't my first choice, but I thought she brought it home. She was cute and funny.

  15. I still don't know why everyone hates "One for the Money" so. Sure, it's no Oscar winner, but compared to the other dogs on this list it's a hundred times better. Is Katherine Heigl really that hated?

"Breaking Dawn" should be renamed "Breaking Wind."

  16. Battleship really stunk. It shows that no matter how much money you throw into a movie, it doesn't mean it will be a good one. I laughed my head off at all the corny lines.
Haven't seen Breaking Dawn, but after reading the comments I'm not bothering.

  17. I'm still mad at Katherine Heigl, the director of One for the Money, for casting herself in the starring role as Stephanie Plum.

I loooove that series, have read every book, and that role really needed to be played by Sandra Bullock, tho they probably couldn't afford her.

And I'm also still mad at her for miscasting Joe Morelli and Ranger.

  18. Aw haha I wanted to take my son to Oogieloves, but it was only in the theatre for a week. I never ended up seeing it, but it was made for toddlers and preschoolers, was there anyone actually expecting it to be fun for adults?

  19. @figgy:
Who did you want for Ranger? I thought the guy they cast was hot-exactly as I pictured him.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @Andrew...it's like the Tom Cruise/Jack Reacher thing. It's not just that people don't like her personally, it's that she totally doesn't fit the role.

Emma Stone would've been a great Stephanie Plum. Bullock is a little too old for Stephanie, imo; otherwise, spot on.

  21. @Turkish...despite being so tall, I always pictured the Rock as Ranger when I was reading.

I don't know who I would have cast as Joe...maybe Mark Ruffalo if he was slightly beefed up.

  22. I sometimes love watching REALLY BAD movies. Looks like I might need to catch Battleship.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I almost want Tyler to win both Actor and Actress, but KStew or Biel would be epic.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Battleship was awful, even in 3-D. Which made me kinda sad since Peter Berg and Taylor Kitsch did such great work with Friday Night Lights.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well Lohan's gonna be pissed she wasn't nominated. I guess this is only for theatrical releases and not made for TV. Otherwse she would have been a shoe in!

And innerestng how some people are nominated for several worsts. Like Beil is worst supporting for Keeps AND Recall. Tyler Perry was nominated more than anyone. Wow. I'd stick to directing if I was him.

  26. I do not agree with the twilight nominations. I loved it and it should not be in the same category as battleship and oogielove. On another note, sure hope biel wins she'll finally have an award!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Piranha 3DD should "win" for worst sequel, that was one of the worst movies I've seen in quite some time

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ummm... Mackenzie Foy is TWELVE years old. Tell me, after watching Breaking Hymen, Part II, did everyone walk out with an icky feeling about Taylor and her?

Also, I adore Liam Neeson, but he's getting dangerously close to Nic Cage "I'll take any role you pay me for" territory. And he's so much better than that. I guess this also means that he did well in Taken 2, since it's not included.

  29. mean. unnecessary.

  30. Battleship? c'mon it was fun and how can you have a go at a movie that celebrated veterans? I think it was clever how they worked the actual "Battleship" into the film so F the Razzies.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I also don't think Battleship sucked that bad. It was an average big-budget alien movie. It certainly wasn't SyFy-level bad. I think people were extra hard on it because the concept was pretty dumb.

And Raspy, I agree about the veteran subplot. Yes, it was cheesy, but it still made me tear up a couple of times.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I teared up too! :)

  33. Aww, Sean Anders is a smart, funny and nice guy. Sorry to see his here.

  35. My 7 yr old would be crushed by this if he had any idea what a Razzie was. He LOVED Battleship - hence we saw it multiple times. There are some painfully bad lines- a sailor w/ ugly cry face saying "Please sir, give me an order, I don't know what to do!!" among the worst. But like Raspy, I loved the old crewmen.

Didn't see Red Dawn but I fully support the nom. A remake is just sacrilege, man.

  36. @crila16 I agree with you. Kristen Stewart is probably the worst actress working right now. she spent the whole SWATH movie with her mouth open, even when she was playing dead. I remember thinking "how will they kiss her with her mout open?" lol. Even in "On the Road" where a lot of people said she was great she sucked imo.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @figgy...I love those books and have them all...I never saw the movie...too afraid they ruined the book...who did they cast as Morelli and Ranger...also Lula...love her..."huh"...lol

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ figgy...never mind...how was Debbie Reynolds as Grandma Mazur...love that character too...

  39. "Battleship" was so bad that the "Battleshits" scene in "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" was better!

Even so, the worst scene I've ever seen in any movie was in "Twilight, Breaking Wind... uh, I mean Dawn No.1." The scene with the talking dogs. It's supposed to be the werewolves deciding to go to war, but it's a bunch of GCI talking dogs.

" Hilary, do you remember that time at camp when we played Battleshits?"
    " Ohh I love battleshits!"
    "You sunk my battleshit!"
I loved Harold and Kumar!!! the first one was wayyy better than the second one. I'm so glad that twilight is done. Such a piece of crap tween bodice ripper, utter shite.

  41. Battleship was truly awful. However, the one redeeming part was when all the old-timers came in out of retirement and kicked ass. I have a soft spot for old folks being awesome.
