Blind Item #3
This C+ list actress was giving an interview about her almost A list mostly movie actor co-star and talked about meeting his boyfriend and what a wonderful couple they were. The reporter just sat there with her mouth open and could not believe what she was hearing because the actor in question has boards nailed over his closet. It was only after a publicist happened to stop by when the reporter was confirming the details that the whole thing got quashed and the reporter got an exclusive with the actor to talk about the movie and the next movie, but nothing else.
Uh, half of Hollywood?

ReplyDeleteWhat about Jeremy Renner as the almost A list and Gemma whatever her name is as the C+ for their work on Hansel and Gretel? (I personally don't think Renner is gay but there is a lot of chatter about him).
For movies that are upcoming releases (in the next month or so), the only actor I can think of is possibly James Franco in the Great and Powerful Oz, but who would the C list costar be?
Jessica biel is his costar in "nailed" on imdb and it comes out this year

After watching Jeremy Renner and Gemma on Graham Norton, I believe 100% it's them. Graham made a few sly gay references that went overlooked but I zoned in on them.

The only thing that keeps me from guessing Renner is that a few weeks ago for one of the weekend "easy" blinds which definitely pointed to Renner, he was described as all-movie A list.

ReplyDeleteI really don't care, I love him as an actor and always will thanks to his brilliance in the Hurt Locker, but def agree Renner bats for the other team after the time he spent in Boston doing research before the Town- his partner was with him a lot.
Interesting side note- he had by far the most authentic Boston accent in that movie (not Affleck)!

Hell, I remodeled my house last year and I can flat out say that Jeremy and his partner have much better taste than I do (although, I do have subway tile for the backsplash in my kitchen and the shower of the original bathroom. That counts for something, right?)

ReplyDelete@Katie, yeah, but remember the comments - not all male makeup artists are gay guys. I was a theatre geek in school, and we had straight makeup/costume guys. When they got crap about being gay, they'd just respond with, I get to dress some of the hottest girls in school, how about you?
(That said, I'm still on board with J's gay train. And I give not s* one about it, just wish he could be open about it. Maybe in our kids' lifetime...)

ReplyDeleteIf J. Chastain really threw a fit about not winning the award she was well over it 15 minutes after the ceremony ended. She spent about 20 minutes in the faux E Network bar & was practically giddy hanging with the E crew. She is apparently a huge gossip fan & watches E religiously. Weinstein can believe what he wants but I've seen The Poker House, Winter's Bone, The Burning Plain and The Hunger Games. Lawrence is a great actress. She'll be collecting Oscars long after Weinstein is planted in the ground in a double wide coffin.

ReplyDeleteI never got the feeling that Jeremy Renner's closet was boarded shut. I think of somebody like John Travolta before all of his boy toy skeletons came sashaying out of his closet. Jake is a better guess.

ReplyDeleteThere is a code of silence in Hollywood when it comes to the closet. It's off the table - the media isn't going to out anyone unless it's an extreme circumstance. For instance, Travolta had legal issues around his sexual harassment over the years, and that totally made him fair game. And Tom Cruise had an acrimonious relationship with a few of the tabs, so they went for it (also I think foreign press doesn't hold up this code like US-based media does).
