Lindsay Lohan Is Going To Skate Free Again

Just a month ago, prosecutors in the lying to cops case were demanding that for any deal not involving Lindsay Lohan going to jail that she would have to spend at least six months in a residential rehab. That means six months of no partying and there is no early release. We would be six months without Lindsay Lohan and the world would have seemed like a beautiful place and she would have had a tough time coming back from that one unless she was perfect when she came out. That is a long time away from the public eye. Now though, prosecutors have reduced the time in rehab to 60 days from six months which is nothing. Sure, it is a long time for Lindsay to go without her sugar daddies and pills and booze, but two months is fairly quick and the prosecutors said she can do some required community service anywhere she likes. Lindsay would prefer doing that online so her assistant could do it for her. By the time this is all said and done, the prosecutors will probably drop everything and offer to buy Lindsay a beer and then arrest her when she drives home after and the cycle will start all over again.

    This girl has more lives than a cat, and people are constantly protecting and enabling her. I don't even understand why? She's not talented, she's not pretty, she's an addict, she's getting older and she's big and bloated. Her face is HUGE in the pic above.

    I blame the media and all the tabloids. If they would just ignore her, she'd maybe learn a lesson. Going to jail, house arrest and a slap on the wrist isn't her kryptonite. It's attention. Take that away, and she'll have nothing.

    I honestly skip over 90% of Lindsey stories now. Just like I did with Paris Hilton stories way back. I've lost interest. It's the same thing over and over.

    I think it would be great to have a ban on all things Lohan until the day she is finally put in jail, or straightens up her act. Then again, she does bring in the hits and comments, so it's not likely the gossip blogs will stop writing about here.

    @Basil That's what I think too. A few years ago there was a blind item about a mother who secretly filmed her, then underage, daughter being used and abused by an older, very powerful, man.
    I can't remember where I read it but I would have no problem believing Dina would do something like that.
    Lindsay has had too many lucky escapes. There has to be more to it.

    I've always said the worst punishment she could ever receive is to be totally ignored. No press, no paps, no nothing. Take away the attention and she will fold like a two dollar bill. (Dina too.) She can never recover from the path she's gone down - she's becoming Pamela Anderson 2.0. You look at someone like Jennifer Lawrence, who just won an Oscar at age 22 - Lindsay can't even begin to compare. She may as well hang it up and resign herself to the Tara Reid lifestyle. It's really all she has left.

    OMG, that picture is just so...wow. She looks older than me (I'm 45), and for sure way more haggard. Not often at my age I can say that, ha ha ha.

    On a serious note - what is the point of forced rehab? After fiftyseventyeleventy times there, it's pretty obvious her vices aren't going away. Leave her to drink and drug herself to death. At this point forced rehab is just another form of enabling.

    Apparently her lawyer is trying to set-up some deal for her to do community service by visiting schools and old age homes to "inspire others"....uh....
    if I had a kid and Lilo was coming to speak that day I would pull them outta school so fast...wtf

    the problem is when Lindsay gets into a car or creates other mayhem that is a danger to others

    but the bottomline is why is she getting treated differently than other people facing the same offences that's the deal

    you can excuse the first offence or so but this is just not right

    justice must be seen to be done for the system to work

    isn't there an election in LA coming up, good time to bring up the lax on Lohan situation

    or commit to a mental facility not a rehab
