Bonnie Franklin Has Died



Bonnie Franklin, the actress who won fame as a divorced mom on the long-running sitcom "One Day at a Time," has died. A family member say she died Friday due to complications from pancreatic cancer. She was 69.

    I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer and he was also 69 took him out in 9 months. I hate this fucking disease so much.

      My dad was 58. Also lasted 9 months. It's been 5 months and still seems unreal.

    Aaaaw. I actually said that out loud when I read this headline. I grew up with that show too. Sad. 2 of my friend's fathers died within a year of pancreatic cancer too. It's a vicious one. Steve Jobs too I think.

    Aw no. :( I was watching what I could of "One Day At A Time" on YouTube just the other night after not having seen it since the '70's. I loved that show so much growing up!

    Just read the blurb. My mom died at 69 and looked younger than most people in their '40's. That's still young. I've wanted to die since I was 10, and it seems like people who are so full of life and energy are the ones to pass too soon.

    And RIP Bonnie. Who didn't watch "One Day At A Time " when it was on. Part of my childhood beimg close to the same age as the girls and having a single mom.
