Shia LaBeouf Hates Alec Baldwin

Shia LaBeouf and Alec Baldwin were all set to star together in a new play on Broadway. Shia had originally told producers the pair could not work together, but Shia gave it a try. Yesterday he quit because of his continuing conflicts with Alec. Producers of course said that Shia had departed the play because of creative differences. Creative differences? With Alec Baldwin? Shocker. Shia, making sure the world knows that Alec is pain in the butt posted a letter to his Twitter from the director which said, "I'm too old for disagreeable situations. you're one hell of a great actor. Alec is who he is. you are who you are. you two are incompatible. I should have known it. this one will haunt me. you tried to warn me. you said you were a different breed. I didn't get it. Dan"

  1. First thing that popped in my mind upon seeing the marquee:

    "The Ambiguously Gay Trio!"

  2. They look like the Three Stooges. Yeah, we all know Shia "I'd love to love my mom" LaBoof is a different breed.

  4. Shia may be a douche, but he's right about this. Working with asshole Alec must be the pits.

  5. Hey, I hate Alec Baldwin too! Shia, let's get married.

  6. When Shia thinks you got problems, you got problems, son!

  7. Shia's personality could use some tweaking, but I'm over Alec's at this point and he's so much older, he has no excuse.

  8. I get it, but it's kind of shitty that he put the director on front street by posting his letter.

  9. I'm sure Tom Sturridge just sits in a corner avoiding the playground fights.

  10. So basically Shia just baited Alec to hate his director, by posting this. If Shia knows Alec is so bad, why would he do that to the director?

  11. Amber, we might be saying the same thing.

  12. Shia is no prize either. They probably didn't get along because they are too much alike.

  13. Tom Sturridge probably sits around wondering what happened to his career.

  14. Patty--I'll bet you're right, that it was a mutual decision by all. Shia is blabbing that he 'quit', but producers probably just went with the more-bankable asshole, and gave Shia the boot but allowed him to save face.

  15. He went to the moon in1969 not 1968. But a year after

    1. Omg dragon, I sing that song all the time! I burnt all the songs from that ep to a CD 10 years ago & still bring it out every once in a while. I also have every Even Stevens episode on VHS in my closet, along with a tape of all Shia's talk show appearances. Also I baked him a cake on his 16th birthday, which was really just an excuse to make a cake, but ok folks, now you know.

  18. Cosign much of above.

While I'm no Alec apologist, he is a very, very good actor. I suspect that Shia was not up for the rigors of a stage play. I believe Alec and Shia butted heads (likes repel likes) but am with the idea that Shia was asked to leave.

Douche move on this part posting the letter. I hate this age of twitter and instant celebrity.

  19. If Tina Fey couldn't get along with him, you know Alec B has to be impossible.

  20. Uh huh figgy. +1

  22. I'm calling shenanigans on that letter. No director in his right mind calls Shia "one hell of a great actor".

    1. They all tell the actors they are talented and amazing...to their face.

  23. Shia was accused of calling a black female store clerk a racist name about 3-4 years ago.

Why he and Alec couldn't get along is interesting since they have a lot in common.

  24. Maybe I Dreamed this, but I think Shia "quit" after a long line of shit that culminated in him putting his fist through a stage or prop door.

  25. Unless it is improv-ish what sort of "creative differences" can there be??? There is a script, they are actors...just follow the script. I don't get it.

  26. Face it, Shia...Alec has way more game than you will ever have. He'll always out-bitch and out-douche you. You knew you couldn't measure up! LOLOL

  27. Wow. Now, the situation leading up to this would make a phenomenal reality show.

  28. Shia's audition tape for Orphans was really good. Too bad it didn't work out.

  30. Todays pic on dlisted shia throws up 666 on both hands. Sold his soul. Smh

  31. Tom Sturridge has the same look in every picture lol

I'm surprised these too didn't get along, oh the people they could have belittled together!!

That said, idgaf, I love me some Alec Baldwin.

  32. Actually Huffpost posted an article about this and its a completely different story than what Enty has posted here. In fact they posted multiple ACTUAL twitter posts by both Alex & Shia - so yeah, I'd say ENTY is full of shit on this one. Thanks but no thanks Ent

  33. Shia's a douche, but Alec is a master player douche. He probably just toyed with Shia until Shia cracked and quit. I can totally see that happening.

  34. According to Enty Tom Sturridge is busy schtupping his nanny.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ohh..so that's who is the nanny reveal?

  39. @Susan, ITA! Maybe he had the director's blessing to post the letter? I'm real big on not burning bridges and think he could have let is fans know why he quit in a different manner.

Shame that Alec is such a great actor and complete ass at the same time.
