Blind Item #2

This C list celebrity is still trying to make a deal for naming rights to her baby. Still no takers. They think she will just call the baby another name in public and will be denied having it repeated enough. Also, they are worried that her fame will be fleeting and that they will not get enough value.

Not to b. profane over here, but I kind of feel like this is just covering the enties' asses bc everyone who was pregnant at the time of that blind has now popped and there's no one naming their kid l'oreal. It's a shame....

  8. Velveeta Madison (name too common, probably)
Crisco Madison (best saved for a boy)
    General Mills Madison (see above)
Cool Ranch Doritos Madison (better estate name than daughter-name).

    I like....
    Honey Bunches of Oats Madison.

  10. Full disclosure: I'm not married, and I don't have kids

But if I ever have a kid, and it's a boy, I'm naming it:
    First name: Bob
    Middle name: GenghisKhan. One word

  12. They're all boy names...

    Windex Madison
Downy Madison (that one also could be tastelessly misconstrued)
    Lysol Madison

    20-Mule Team Borax Madison.

  13. Kleenex Madison is too awful, considering Holly's former 'career'.

Snuggle Madison, or maybe Febreze--those could be girl's names.

  14. Easy! Kate Middleton!

  15. A co-worker gave her son the best name ever: Maximillian Danger. They call him Max, but when he's older he has the best pickup line ever: "Danger is my middle name. No, seriously, look at my birth certificate!"

    1. @Lee, we have friends that named their son Freddy Danger, same thought process :). Adorable baby too.

  18. Her baby daddy's last name is Rotella. If her name was Velveeta Rotella, shed sound like an awesome cheese dip.

  20. What I don't get is how naming a child after a product could possibly benefit a company - no ones going to think - oh, gosh, I must go out and buy xx because an "out of sight, out of mind" b list celebrity reminded me of it...I don't see the logic.

  25. Hahaha, @Tru Leigh. Did you ask her WHY?!

Eery year is a fresh crop of kids with weird names. I'm all for being unique and interesting, but adding an apostrophe doesn't make Ma'Shell cooler than Michelle. (It does, however, make it easier to remember their names in class.)

  28. You guys had me laughing today! It's nice to comment more. I'm usually sneaking a peek at work when I read CDAN and have to be careful. This is not really a site where I should be while at work. LOL.
