This Twilight actress is a B- lister and was at an event this week and was asked about Kristen Stewart. The actress, who has a had some success outside the Twilight franchise said, "She is just an oddity. Not a good actress and when this last film has been released this fall and all the hype and the press is over, I expect her career to be over too. She will be a whatever happened to. She manipulates to get what she wants and had the producers bending over because they couldn't replace her. No one actually likes her. They put up with her. They endure her. That endurance is gone and she won't be getting a Christmas card from anyone."

I am proud to say I have never seen any of the Twilight movies.
Great Maggie Grace movie running on cable all the time: Malice in Wonderland. She plays the Alice character. It's set in an acid trip version of modern day England and its mafia underworld.

How could you guys forget that she starred in the timeless classic 'The Fog,' with 'Superboy' Tom Welling?! I love that cheesy movie.

ReplyDeleteShe's about a decade older than Kstew and I wonder how mature she was back at age 22, and think maybe she should have been more mature than say this? She's 32, right? Those TV roles on CSI and TV movie of the week back in her 20s didn't give her the kind of pressure and criticism Kstew has had endured since she was a teen starting out in Twilight. And Maggie Grace wasn't even acting at age 17, unless her high school plays are listed on Imdb.

Stewart's acting really is terrible. What drove it home for me was her wedding scenes. Most people, when walking down the aisle to marry the person they love will be starry-eyed, smiling, overcome with emotion.

ReplyDeleteIMDB has 20 credits for Kristen prior to Twilight, and another 5 since it began. All by age 22. If she had no talent and no ability to work with others, it would've been discovered and reflected well before now.

The huntsman was painful! At the end where she just stands there, scowling, when you're expecting some triumphant speech or look of satisfaction...I was like, "really Kstew????? Gahhhh!"

Maggie Grace does run throughout the whole movie (Taken). Made me lol constantly.
KStew plays the same standoffish and "too cool" character in every movie. I liked Adventureland but she kinda ruined it for me. She is so blah... I don't call it acting when it is your normal personality in real life.
