Edward Furlong Sentenced To Six Months In Jail

Unlike Lindsay Lohan who seems to have a way with the judges, Edward Furlong was sentenced to six months in jail for violating his probation and the judge ordered that Edward not be released early. Where has this judge been hiding this past decade of trouble for Lindsay. You do realize that it has been close to a decade since she started getting in trouble. It has been almost a decade that her career started it's downward spiral but has yet to be completely flushed. Anyway, Edward violated his probation by contacting his ex-wife. He also is still facing charges for beating up his ex-girlfriend in January who also had a restraining order against him. Hopefully this gets him clean.

  2. There's no excusing his behavior, but he's a much more talented actor than Lohan. Wtf? I hope he pulls a Freaky Friday with her and she goes to jail and he gets clean.

  3. Who is this? He looks vaguely familiar but I can't place him...

  4. Yeah. This will get him clean. Because we all know there's absolutely no way to get drugs in prison. Especially if you're famous.

  9. I sometimes wonder about the outpouring of positive regard that people get for having once had a job, *if* that job was being filmed by a film crew reading lines that somebody wrote. Millions of addicts are suffering in the world, and these Hollywood ones are about the least contributing members of society I can think of. Ugh, this kid bores me. Ugh. (That was an ugly rant, I know. I'm just waking up.)

  17. can anyone in California launch a complaint about the lenient treatment of Ms. Lohan, or maybe people in Cali should appeal their sentences on the Lohan precedent

  18. Do you all remember when he went into that grocery store and "freed" the lobsters? Even I, as an animal lover, thought that was a whackadoodle move.

  19. EL should write "Edward Furlong, Lobster Advocate...."

  21. I could go for woman beater and lobster advocate. At least this will be 6 months where he won't be physically harming anyone. No wonder his eyes are wonked. I could care less if he cleans up. He needs to stop hurting women.

  22. I can have sympathy for his addiction but not for his violence to women. Like Izzie said...

  25. He hasn't even done 1/2 of what Lindsay's done...yet hes going to jail. WTF is wrong with this world???? And I'm not saying Ed Furlong shouldn't go to jail. He's an @ss with issues...all I'm saying is Lindsay should be in jail and yet keeps getting off.

  26. His crimes were violent, hers weren't. (Although, she certainly does have the potential to kill someone with her crappy driving.) I'm not saying that I don't think she deserves to go to jail, but I think it's appropriate that he got a stiffer sentence than she ever has.

  27. It seems to help in celebrity justice-leniency for the celebrity in question to be female, and pretty.

    Sorry Eddie.
