Tori Spelling Says Her Husband Is Not Cheating On Her - As Far As She Knows

Last week Star ran a story and put Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott on the cover and announced they were divorcing. Tori has now written an open letter on her blog, which presumably her kids don't read which says that Star terrified her oldest child and made him cry and that they had to run from the store when he saw it. I understand the sympathy ploy here from Tori. I also had no idea she took all her kids grocery shopping with her alone. Don't you think that Tori could have seen the Star and kept her son from reading it? She says they were standing in a checkout line. I don't want any kids to cry. No one does. Tori knows that which is why she wrote the letter and to get people on her side. Whether it is true or not that the kid did cry, she has everyone turning to her side. What about my tears? What about all those Lifetime movies she keeps making? That Dean makes? You don't think they caused me to cry with how bad they are? I'm sure kids have cried when their parents pass out drunk on top of the remote control and leave Tori & Dean on for the kids to watch. You don't think Dean made his kid cry when he cheated on the kid's mom with Tori? That is way more personal.

  2. Ha. I hope someone was having fun with Photoshop with Dean's face. He looks like a claymation figure that has melted under hot studio lights all day.

  4. yeah, a 5 year old not only knows what divorce is but can read the headline. i will say she looks great in that pic. maybe she could take the cover to her plastic MD and he could use it as a guide.

  5. When I lived in LA, I used to see Tori occasionally at this one open air shopping mall (don't remember the name). I could believe she goes grocery shopping alone.

And yes, Dean McDermott's face looks cray-cray.

  8. That is definitely a new nose. I personally love her Lifetime movies.

  9. I had no idea they had that kind of money...

Her entire face had been re-worked...

  10. Well if we're talking about Dean's face, I could easily still confuse him with Dermot Mulroney or even Dylan McDermott.

  11. Worked with Dean. His fist marriage was not a happy one. Give them a break.

  12. Does anyone watch Nashville? Same scenario happened this wk, but one of the kids was older. Country star is married to the mayor - but they had JUST filed for divorce. She is shopping in the grocery store w/her sister and two daughters - one about 13, one about 7 and then they see the mags and are blindsided...About the same time the ladies in the store see the family and all eyes are on them. Mom runs out w/her two kids while sis pays for the groceries. I have heard about this scenario for years from Hollywood kids...makes sense to me.

  15. I Personally think Dean is super faithful to Tori, just like Eddie is super faithful to Leanne. They are 2 of the bestest couples made in Hollywood Heaven. So MFEO. I think once Dean and Eddie met Tori and Leanne, they changed their cheating ways for ever and ever and ever.

  16. I hope its not true and that all is well. For some reason,I really like her..

  18. She cheated on her first husband with him. He cheated on his first wife with her. They deserve eachother. Once a cheater, always a cheater.

Hey can anyone help me out with an OT question por favor? So a few times today I've tried to comment and am having trouble so trying to figure out if its the site or my phone. Just upgraded from the iPhone 4 to the 5, and with the 4 I didn't have these problems. With the exception of this post (but of course), every comment I type out will freeze up and I can't hit the back key or continue typing so I just have to select all and cut

  20. I don't buy it. Dean's an idiot but he's not stupid enough to leave the Spelling gravy train.

    1. She works/worked her ass off for that money. The reality shoiw, books, crafts, jewelry- she did what she had to do when bitch of a mother sat on mega millions rather than share with her daughter. I admire that she didnt whine or complain, she did what she had to do.

  24. I really like Tori, from what I can tell she seems like a hands on mom. Not to mention those kids are absolutely adorable.

I love Nashville but haven't seen the past two weeks. Not a spoiler stickler though so feel free to spoil away

  25. LOOOOOOve me some Nashville. Great tunes and good cast. Fingers crossed for renewal...

  26. Also, all your Nashville fans, YouTube Lennon and Maisey, they play Connie Brittons daughters. Holy cow are they talented and adorable as heck! I am obsessed with them and their awesome harmonies.

  27. She did not tell her children people make up stories? What does she tell them when paps take their picture? If you were a celebrity parent, it makes sense to adapt and prepare your children.

That was obviously a way to get sympathy. Not from me. When you choose to start your relationship that way get ready to wonder every minute you are apart if they are messing around. Just part of the life you chose. I mostly like her but Girl, you made that bed. Now you sleep in it and don't whine if there are too many people in there with you.

  28. Let's get this out of the way - OMG, what's up with her nose?? I hope that's just a really bad picture! That being said, I don't believe anything that Star magazine prints.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well that would explain her absence from the Gourmet Dad's hard-fought victory on Worst Cooks in America - err Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off.

That, by the way, was some glorious television watching. Gilbert Gottfried, making a peanut butter & banana sandwich, Johnny Weir struggling to cook a hot dog. Quality stuff.

  30. Yeah, I don't think Tori has much of all that Spelling money, so no real "gravy train" there. Any money those two have, they got with hard work.

What can I say? I keep rooting for Tori. Don't know why.

I LURVE "Nashville." Deacon is my boyfriend and I want to color my hair Connie Britton-style.

  31. I caught Dean in a western on TV with Kevin Costner, Annette Bening and Robert Duvall (I know, right?) and he wasn't bad. I was surprised.

  32. Through my extensive knowledge of Hollywood by way of reading gossip blogs, it would seem to me that they would have known at least a week in advance that this story was going to break and that this would be on the cover. If you knew that you were the story of the week, wouldn't you decide to not take your kids to the grocery store?

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Xander Dyle, I think it was either Century City or 3rd Street Promenade. It was 15 years ago-ish, and I can remember what it looks like in my head but I can't remember the name.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I liked him on that cooking show. He seemed like a nice guy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Tory made her bed so she should go lie in it like a mature adult. She and Dean were having an affair while making a movie and as a result, both divorced their spouses and then got married. What makes Tori think she is so special that Dean isn't cheating on her? I firmly believe that once a cheater is always a cheater.

  36. @urban chaos - thanks for the smile. He was awful to Mary Jo, left her with a new baby and oen in the midst of adoption or something right? He just oozes smarmy to me.

  37. I'm not the biggest Tori fan because of the way she told her first husband she was divorcing him: she made her therapist do it!

Karma is a bitch and birthing babies isn't going to keep a man.

Leann should take notes because this is her future.

  38. Oh and Jessica Simpson too, if she should marry her appendage.
