Amanda Knox Says She Is Proud Of Her One Night Stands

Amanda Knox's book is due out and in a new excerpt from the book, she admits that she had a series of one night stands as a student in college in Italy and says she is proud of them and says most were the result of pot. I guess you have to give her points about being honest about all the one night stands she had and she details four or five over the course of a month that she had prior to meeting her boyfriend, but, at the same time, when I read them, it kind of makes more sense to me then that she would have had ended up in some three way sexual dilemma with her roommate, Meredith Kercher, who ended up killed. Amanda and her boyfriend served four years in jail before being released. A new trial is going to be held, but Amanda will not be present. She was paid a several million dollar advance for the book.

  1. Four or five over a month? At my college, she would have been labeled "prudish".

  2. Good on her! I applaud anyone who refuses to be slut shamed. Get it girl!

  3. Maybe I'm too critical, but selling the sordid details of her sex life is not what I ever expected to be reading about.. whatever.

  4. Smoking dope and having sex in Europe for a study abroad is like, whatever. Sounds like my grad school and field studies.

It's mentioned because she was asked by prison officials to list and name all her partners because she tested positive for HIV, which was a lie. They then used that info to slut shame her.

  5. Amazing how we hang on her thoughts about sluttery and other topics. She is just some dumb young coed (and possible murderess) that got caught up on something tragic. All we should be interested is in about that night and after. Nice photo - very ladylike.

  6. Police lie all the time to catch suspects in a lie, or to extract the truth from them. Considering someone was murdered and only Amanda really knows the extent to which she was or wasn't involved, I think to say she was slut shamed is taking the court proceedings out of context.

  7. I'm a little confused by this article. Is Enty saying that because Amanda Knox had one night stands and was proud of them that it isn't a surprise that she ended up in a threesome that resulted in murder? If so, that's crazy. I've had plenty of one night stands and everybody walked away alive AFAIK.

  8. I don't really understand what this has to do with anything...*L*

  9. I have no idea if she killed her roommate or not, but one-night-stands aside, there is something about this girl that rubs me the wrong way.

  10. Raise your hand if you've ever had a threesome.

One, two, three, four... oh, goodness! Lots of you! Good for you!

Okay, now keep your hand up if it ended with someone dead.

No one? No one EVER had a threesome that ended in a literal stabbing death?

Hmm. So... actually it makes NO sense at all.

  11. I wouldn't mind seeing her in a "celeb" sex tape. Definitely a Kink.com dungeon scene, playing off the imprisonment and the sleazy guards and warden. If she won't sign, they should do a porn parody at least.

  13. Enty, we can do without the clutch the pearls slut shaming. Please.

She may not have done the killing, but she has something to do with the cover up.

  15. i have never felt horny from smoking pot. i have felt very very sleepy and have had the munchies.

  16. Enty, you are making it VERY difficult to like you lately. Very.

  17. I think what Enty is trying to say is be careful who you bring home with you. If it's someone you just met an hour ago, you don't know what that person may be capable of. Joran Van Der Sloot, anyone?

I'm giving Enty the benefit of the doubt here. Don't make me regret it, Big Guy!

  18. NomNom 83 You can see my hand from there? Yup, gotta agree, been there, done that, don't have the murderess t-shirt though. One a week makes you a tramp? Holy crap am I in trouble.

  19. Whatever. She is a young girl who was enjoying the freedom of being on her own in Europe when she had the misfortune to be roommates with a woman who was tragically and brutally murdered. She further had the misfortune to be fingered by an overzealous prosecutor who went to shameful, and arguably illegal, lengths to try to prove a negative, i.e. that she was guilty. ALL of the evidence that was collected in a timely and sterile manner pointed to a man who plea bargained for a very light sentence in exchange for falsely implicating Amanda Knox. She spent four years in prison "paying" for a crime in which not a bit of legitimate evidence points to her involvement. She is still living under the cloud of people thinking she "looks" guilty or she didn't act "right".

Her family went into deep debt to save their daughter and for that, and because Amanda deserves some justice in her life too (as does Meredith-- REAL justice, not manufactured), I hope her book sells millions.

  20. Lola I am with you 100%! Thank you!

  21. As an aside, Douglas Preston, who authored "Monster of Florence" which we've discussed on other Amanda Knox threads, just published a short ebook on the Knox case called, "Trial By Fury: Internet Savagery and the Amanda Knox Case" which I just bought and am jazzed to read. If you all will recall, Douglas Preston was the one who, while visiting Italy was caught up in another murder investigation when the prosecutor who went after Amanda pursued him after he (Preston) started investigating a case.

The Amanda Knox book by Preston is on Amazon for $.99.

  22. Who's shaming her for sleeping around? The real shame here is how she was set up for a completely unsupported murder rap by a bat-shit crazy Italian prosecutor.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Come to think of it, it was the prosecutor who was wrapped around the axle about her sleeping around.

  24. Personally i cant believe she fell for the "you have HIV" crap. detectives use that kinda of stuff all the time.
However she was kinda youngish, but i dont think she did research of laws and customs etc before she went.
I think she was drugged out of her mind when the murder happened. Whether she was a participant or not we will never know. but i do agree with above that she helped cover it up.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sounds like a 'ho to me.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Clarity, I agree - she was very drugged out, and we'll never know what happened. Because of the batshit crazy prosecutor and the Italian justice system. I think she does know more than she's saying tho.

As for sleeping around during a college year abroad in Italy? Totally normal.

Lola - I haven't read it but Monsters of Florence has been on my to-read pile, incredible story.

  27. @NomNom - totally with you there! That's exactly what I was thinking! One has NOTHING to do with the other!

  28. It is simply shocking that a girl would have one night stands in college during her term abroad. Who has ever heard of such debauchery???

Seriously-for anyone who has ever been to college, much less abroad, or maybe just lives in reality circa 2013 this is and should be a non issue that isn't even worth mentioning.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Her face is creepy. Like it's blank.

    ReplyDelete
  30. You don't need college abroad to sleep with a different man every week, just work at the Renaissance Faire, that should provide plenty of opportunities. ;)

She's a woman, so the implication in this post is that she should be ashamed of her sex life, but every post on this forum about a male celeb sleeping around is written as if he's providing a gift to the world. Dark ages.

    ReplyDelete
  31. If you know anything about women and Aspergers, this will make some sense to you. It also might explain why some people think her face looks rather "blank" (I would not use the word creepy. She's quite beautiful).

Could Amanda Knox Have an Autism Spectrum Disorder?

  32. @lila: I'd give an opinion on that, but my compassionless, OCD, socially awkward,, often rude or inappropriate ex, who lacks coping skills and can regurgitate books like Will Hunting says I am un qualified.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't care about her sex life. I want to know if she has info on her roommate that was murdered.

    ReplyDelete
  34. One night stands and pot don't make you kill people, or none of us would have made it out of college alive.

    ReplyDelete
  35. There is no weed in the world that would "make" you have one night stands.

    ReplyDelete
  36. What the hell, Enty?! Having a few one night stands does not make a girl a murderer!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I just watched a preview of the interview on ABC news and it was almost like they went out of their way to show a clip where she looked unsympathetic.

I didn't really follow this case closely but there have been a number of times she's set off some reaction in me that isn't positive--I think I'll watch mostly to try to pin that down--figure out why I react to her that way.

  38. I'm just amazed that, even in 2013, how many guys you've slept w/ becomes relevant to anything if a WOMAN does it. Men can, women can, BUT are sluts. Enty, tsk tsk

    ReplyDelete
  39. Huh. Not sure I'd describe myself as "proud" of my past history of one-night stands. I mean, I'm hardly ashamed, but "proud" goes a bit too far. I do not get all the love for this woman. She seems like a real piece of work to me.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I really doubt Amanda is 100% innocent. She's certainly hiding something but that alone certainly isn't indicative of guilt.

Have any of you guys read the statement analysis blog that has repeatedly studied Amanda's statements? Some of it is total BS but some of it seems somewhat reliable. I've been a criminology undergrad for a few years now and I've never heard of statement analysis as a legit investigative tool but it's worth a read.

  44. Seriously, this is just another ...some would say "cute" white woman trying to profit off her " ordeal ".
If she was fat,no one would care.

There will always be a market for cute white gals-to-hell-and-back-stories. There's gonna be a wave of women writing books about losing their loved ones in the Boston Bombing . It just a matter of who can get theirs out first and how attractive they are.
    White women always sell.

  45. Enty - I'm disappointed in your editorial views...

It's been the year 2013 for a while now and you are saying that you think it makes more sense to you that because of her one night stands and drug use that she would have ended up in that murderous situation??!!

WTF - I thought you were cooler than that!
