Jada Pinkett Smith Talks About Open Marriage - Kind Of
I have to give props to Marc Lamont Hill of HuffPost Live who actually asked an interesting question of a celebrity. In an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith he asked whether she has an open marriage with Will Smith. Her answer? "I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay. Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that's not for me to do for him. Or vice versa."

ReplyDeleteJada was on GMA yesterday and boy, was I eyerolling at her segment! They brought up her "crusade" against the media bullying of Justin Bieber and according to Jada, Justin is just misunderstood y'all. I looked up her exact quote:

ReplyDeleteThey are both gay and everyone in the business knows, they do not hide it. She was a part of a group of women that would meet occasionally at beach or summer houses for some lovin' and of course those old swinging parties I heard were something else. At one of those parties is where the singer Joe (R&B) met Stephen Jones, that model who dated Jordin Sparks and was in that Faith Evans video. Those two dated for a long time and Joe even bailed out Stephan from a big legal issue when he was arrested in London for smuggling heroin. I'm still waiting for Jada to remove those awful cheek implants!!

I just read up a little on him to see where he is now (he was close friends with a friend of mine who modeled and was invited to those parties)...he was homeless while dating Jordin Sparks...sad!!

It's sort of ridiculous that it's okay to even ask this question. Imagine you are at work, meeting with a client and they ask you, "So, are you and your spouse allowed to #@!^ other people?"

But just imagine if she had responded with, "That's none of your business." The press would be up in arms about Jada "lashing out" or "slamming" a reporter.
And I'm not even a fan of hers.
