Jennifer Love Hewitt As X Factor Judge

When I first hard yesterday that Jennifer Love Hewitt's name was being thrown around as a name to be an X Factor judge, I really thought it was a bad idea. Then, I remembered she did have a pop career. Bare Naked comes to mind here and I think in Japan she was really popular as a singer. The thing is it was so long ago that I'm not sure anyone actually remembers and it seems to me there are plenty of other people you could get who are way more qualified and who would not seem such obvious stunt casting choices. Face it, that is what it is. With every singer in the world who is currently working or all the record executives, you want to choose Jennifer Love Hewitt?

She has literally named her bewbs "Thelma" and "Louise".
I think that Thelma is right and Louise is left. Boyfriends must never forget, or they kicked to the curb.
@FSP Info for you to remember in case you ever get a shot. Just trying to help a brother out.

    3. @Xander - is that her left, or would it be my left? Just in case.

Her left. Don't mess it up and call them wrong, or she'll get mad.
      No Vajazzle viewings for you!

  3. She has a nice voice. I love the movie Heartbreakers so I can't hate her.

  5. If some no talent person is gonna make millions of dollars judging this stupid show at least let it be someone like JLH who seems nice enough.

  10. I can see her now with her big fake eyelashes and heaving cleavage, "oh stop Simon!" Let me gag now.

  11. Did anyone else think of Spinal Tap with the "I think in Japan she was really popular as a singer." line? I'm old.

  12. Um I forgot how much I loved this song until I heard it again. Lol. I agree with everyone she seems like a really nice person and we all know that shows like AI, X factor and the Voice aren't really based what judges are the most talented but who can bring the most viewers. If it were based on talent we would never get to see the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj and countless other untalented folks. Btw I would put Britney Spears on that list but the inner 15 year old in me who still rocks out to her "Britney" album won't let me.

  13. She'll well-liked across demographics and knows about a career in showbiz. Plus what Rafi says about celebrity judges as a whole.

  14. This genre is SO tired, but I think JLH is as good a choice as anyone. She's 'real', likable, pretty, AND she's been in the business since she was little. She would have a sense of who has the goods to be in showbiz.

  15. I love JLH even though I don't watch her shows--she's so likable that she would be an excellent choice. Even if she had zero talent.

  16. If Britney Spears can't bring in the viewers, I doubt anyone can. I think the format's a tired one.

  17. Uhm how about a sistah who can really sing i.e. Chaka, Stephanie Mills, Dionne Warwick (who needs the money), Gladys Knight, there's a legion of real singers who would be great for the gig.

  18. I don't watch the show and really don't care, but if she's as wacked as one or two blinds I've read here would seem to indicate, maybe they're hoping for some off-screen antics to boost ratings? Just a guess.

  20. Those songs are pure feces. Did she write that shit? Now I remember why that singing career never took off.

  21. Shes one of those in Hollywood that bugs to no end...I think so many years of hearing "I'm just a normal girl"... y do I need to be convinced? Its kinda like people who begin sentences with "honestly".

  22. Yes please. I think she would be great! I want her to bedazzle us with tears, drama and her trademark silliness. Not that I've ever watched this show in my life...or even care. But I do like mindless gossip (only about people I don't know and will never meet), and I think her being on the show would be faaabulous in that respect.

I remember her as a big part of Kids Incorporated on the Disney Channel, at around the same time as the new Mickey Mouse Club was getting going. Her and Fergie were on it together. Talented kids that could really sing. She's not bad, but hardly a music success. A lifetime channel success, a natural big booby award winner, but not much else.
