This A list all movie actress is filming her latest movie outside the country after a recent breakup. So far she has refused to eat any food that she does not recognize, or that is not from America. She also has complained about her accommodations and has been moved four times to try and make her happy. She has yelled at the crew constantly and thinks every guy who talks to her is hitting on her and has decreed that only people who have speaking scenes with her are actually allowed to speak to her.

When Ryan Reynolds dumped her, I thought he must be smoking crack. She is, after all, one of the most gorgeous women in Hollywood. Maybe this explains why he decided to end it.

ReplyDeleteI assume that the breakup being referred to is the one with Sean Penn... I think that probably put her in a worse mood than the Ryan Reynolds one, which probably had been coming for a long time.
ReplyDeleteActress acts spoiled,rude,diva-ish, elitist,obnoxious and bitchy. Isn't that about usual for that line of work though? It's like saying a Dr was a self centered, self important ass. Or a waitress was nice and felt under tipped.

I concur with Olive that she's been lucky. A good film director (assisted later by good editing) can pull a decent performance out of just about any actor, and she's had the good fortune to work with some great directors. To paraphrase the great Bill Murray, she's medium talent.
DeleteI am with her on the food thing. The rest of it doesn't seem to be anything more than her elitist demands of a spoiled actress...which most of them are to varying degrees.
ReplyDeleteThe not eating meals outside of American food thing can actually be smart. Spielberg only ate canned American meals while filming the first Indiana Jones movie in Cairo. Everybody who ate the local food got violently sick but him. Especially Harrison who kept running to the can every 15 minutes.

DeleteIt's funny, the two times I've gotten sick internationally were due to my craving for a "western-style" meal...a burger in Algeria and pancake brekkie in Mexico. I also could never live in China (honestly not my favorite country for food), but would move to SE Asia, Italy or Lebanon in a heartbeat for the cuisine alone.
I remember running into her twice (almost literally) at a nightclub. This was when she was dating Josh Hartnett and I didn't know who she was (until later). She came across as a really sweet person to me. She wasn't bitchy or anything (and Lord knows I've run across my share of women who thought they were really something special). If it is true, it's sad to know that the same girl could be this way. Then again, she could be a chameleon.

ReplyDeleteI actually buy this. A lot of people don't like British and Scottish cuisine given all the "carbs" involved. I grew up on it so it's comfort food for me. But someone like Scarlett who struggles to keep skinny would probably refuse to touch it. No idea what American food she'd be eating unless it was steak or a hamburger over there.

I've always thought she was a mediocre actress at best and comes across dumber than a box of rocks. Hopefully it's just youth and she will figure it out. I think the poor girl busts her ass to be slim and personally hope one day she will be comfortable with her curves. Doubtful she will find that acceptance in Hollywood though :(
She's so brainwashed by Woody Allen. Don't like her movies, never did after finding out she associated herself with Woody A. Very self-absorbed and tried to use Sean Penn for publicity too. Trash and talentless.

ReplyDeleteScotland caters for the whole world. There`s about 10 foreign restaurants for every local. Most of which are american. For what it is made of, haggis is actually tasty and won't make you ill.

ReplyDeleteI've never been on the Scarlett bandwagon. The only movie I really liked her in was The Avengers. Wasn't she the subject of a blind (one of Lainey's I think) about an actress who got all bitchy on a girl who complimented her in the ladies room?
ReplyDeleteugh...i'd kiss ass to be making a movie in scotland right now. and FYI, having lived in UK, ummm....if you don't like the 'food' (please) there are such things as bakeries for bread and supermarkets like tesco where you can get fresh veg/fruit, cheese...i'm just saying ive traveled a lot intlly' and for budget sake would just hit the local grocery stores for nosh instead of paying to eat out all the time...oh, never got food sick except a chicken salad sandwich in cusco peru...and i blame the mayo in that
ReplyDeleteI have never gotten sick from food when I was traveling except for once in France and I've eaten smoked long fish from a roadside in Madagascar. Her attitude is ignorant not to mention that most sets have catered food. And Scotland has very good food and chefs if that's where she was. She did herself a big disservice by not doing some research on finer restaurants available locally.
ReplyDeleteThis may be too late to comment but I know that when Scarlett was in Glasgow she visited one of our best restaurants, Ubiquitous Chip and ate there. One of my friends is a bar manager there (he often gives me a heads up on the celebs dining there) and said she was sweet (and stunning, moreso in the real world)

I understand if you don't want to eat intestines or bugs (neither do I), but for the love of god live a little and try other cuisines. American food is among the WORST (save for a few staples) in the world in both taste and nutrition. Our food will make you sick over the course of years with cancer.

I personally do not find anything even remotely attractive about Scarlett Johanson. I've tried to see what other see...and I just don't. I also can't stand watching her in movies. I personally think she's a blob. I can't stand her mouth and chin. I look at her and all I can say is "I bet she's a loud snorer at night." She really isn't even a good actress either. Completely overrated.
