Stephen Pearcy Had A Three Groupie Quota Per Day

I bet there are a lot of people out there who have never heard of the group Ratt. They were big back in the day. Big enough apparently that the lead singer of the group, Stephen Pearcy had no problems fulfilling his three groupie a day sex quota. In an interview with Fox, the singer says, "I just kind of gave myself a quota. I gotta have breakfast, lunch and dinner." he went on to say that he could have had as many groupies a day as he wanted because they were everywhere. Who wants to be the third person he has sex with at the end of the week after he has had 20 other women? I would like to know what these women do now because this must have been 30 years ago probably. Do you think he would still have sex with them now, or would he only want their daughters?

  5. This guy is why I was a fan of Talking Heads, REM and the Cure back then. Too many morons were playing hair metal & too many were following those bands. I'm still mad The Bangles blew up their hair to hair metal size between their first and second albums. I thought somebody was pushing them over to the dark side.

    1. EVERYONE was blowing up their hair! As soon as the record deals were signed, the hair gel, hair spray and stylists were upon these poor artists. Godawful! I was doing college radio til 1980 and after graduating, had a friend from work who was into the headbangers-soooo lame but I got to go to the Whiskey A GoGo and was THERE when punk & new wave blew up the scene like a neutron bomb.

  6. Weird, I just looked up their dates and their biggest hits were in the early/mid eighties, which was when I was in elementary school, but I totally remember them being big in middle school in the late eighties/early nineties. Memory is weird.

    Still, ick.

  7. I must be crazy, because I could have sworn Stephen Pearcy was dead. I must be getting him mixed up with the dude from Quiet Riot.

Just checked, not dead. Looks half dead, though.

    1. You're probably thinking of Robin Crosby, the guitarist. He died in 2002.

  8. I would like to know why such a highly intellectual news channel like FOX is interviewing a has-been singer and airing his culinary tastes and sexual proclivities. Seems distasteful.

  10. I saw Ratt when Bon Jovi opened for them in 1985. Bon Jovi only had recent semi-success with "She's a Little Runaway," and Ratt was at the top of their game with "Round and Round."

  11. Wow...he's close to the same age as my husband, and the Mr. looks way younger.

  14. Not ALL hair metal bands sucked. But this band, I just discovered, did.

  15. Stpehen Pearcy's hard livin' is written all over his face. Don't know that he could even come close to that quota anymore.

  16. Hahaha I had an ex that was into hair metal, which is the only reason I know who Ratt is. All those hours of Hair Nation...shudder...Yeah they are terrible. I would rather watch an interview with some of the women. Are they, " Uggh I can't believe I did that" or "Ah, those were the days. My crazy youth"?

  17. Ha, I loved Round and Round when I was little!

  18. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if he still got that sort of quota when they're touring. A friend of mine booked them in the 1990s, and the day after their LA House of Blues show, the office answering machine was full of women trying to reach them because, "Stephen is sooooo hot!!! Please call me back!" Apparently, Ratt can still put on a hell of a show.

  19. I don't undesttand how woman can disrespect themselves by letting some guy stick his dick inside them just to say that he did? Is that something to be proud of? cause I don't think that it is.

  20. Totally gross. Part of the f you of rock&roll i guess.

  21. Ah yes, Ratt. I wrote a half-hearted joke on one of their youtube videos, asking How the hell Milton Berle wound up in one of their videos. Little did I know that I would earn the ire of an apparently dedicated Ratt fan base "Dude, he's related to the manager!!!" "Milton's the uncle of the band's manager." "Dude, how could you NOT know that Milt is bangin' the manager's roadie's sister?" And on and on. Very serious this group of fans, the names were hilarious (Jon Rockerzzz69, BuzzLightyear StoleMyAmp, etc.). My point being that yeah, even now, I could see this guy slammin' it thrice daily.

  22. As a high schooler and college student of the 80's, please stop dissing on my hair metal. Well, not Ratt so much but I liked others.

And they had Milton Berle in a couple of their videos. If I recall correctly, his nephew was there manager, or something. Yup, MTV was a constant souce of info for me in those days.

  23. ^ My point proven further. Hilarious.

  24. Hmmm. I think I was a teenager when Ratt was popular. I was too young to go for then, and I'm too old for it now. And by old I mean mature. As in, WTF would anyone want a one night stand with a complete tool for? Oh, punny....I said tool.....still, I don't get why women throw themselves at guys like this. Ones where they mean nothing to the guys. If it's just to say they did it, why can't they skip it and just say they did it? Who's going to refute it?!

  25. My first thought is...what comes around goes around...but that doesn't apply really.

  26. That EAT ME T-shirt is oh so sexy.

LOL @ Comma Chaser. Dude, everyone knows that!

  27. I remember them. A friend of mine had their cassettes lying around her car. For some reason I confused this group with Bonnie RAITT.

  28. I was a teen during the hair metal days and to this day still love it! My own children also love it as they have heard it throughout the years and can sing probably just as many songs as I can.
Having graduated in '86 I went to many concerts and saw not just young women throwing themselves at the bands but women that were my mothers age.

  29. Yeah I love hair bands.

  30. I met Steven a few years ago at a hotel bar after RATT had played a show nearby. Bought him a shot of Jaeger, told him he was the subject of some of my earliest mastubatory fantasies and we had a good laugh. He is a decent guy, fairly well-mannered and clearly missed the height of his popularity. We discussed me and the hubby being lawyers and he tried to hire me to do entertainment contracts (not my area, but my husband has been known to represent a few notable bands). I tried to refer him to the hubby and about that time he got a call from the concierge. My impression: yeah, he got laid like a champ and, yes, he stuffed his spandex back in the day for photos. Short guy, thin, still has the hair but not as poofy.

  31. I think Enty is a woman. A very bitter one at that. The way he/she ragged on Britney who actually has/did have mental healthy issues. During that time when she seemed unstable, Enty would nitpick about the most superficial things like her wearing 'bad' outfit or not wearing a bra when it was clear Brit looked like she was not even there, in her eyes.

According to Enty's delusions Rihanna is some troubled soul based on the fact she parties hard and is late turning up at her own gigs. He/She Been saying Rihanna set for rehab for a few years now, showing me he/she ain't gotta clue. Lol Then writes an article like this one about someone sleeping with disturbing amount of people. No asides about this person 'Having issues' but if it were a female celeb one can only imagine what shit Enty would be saying. Other than that, awesome site.

  32. *eyeroll* Ratt was NEVER that big, even back in the day.

  33. Someone in RATT died of AIDs

  34. Enty must be friendly with Pearcy and trying to throw some heat his way for their upcoming show at a Six Flags or something. How is this discussion worthy? Everyone knows that guys in bands get coochie, talent or looks be dammed. That’s a given.

We saw RATT when they opened-up for Billy Squier back in the early ‘80’s. This was right before they blew-up and starting headlining. They looked just as ridiculous to us back then, with all of that spandex and eyeliner bullshit. Believe it or not, all metal bands did NOT look like Poison. Too bad Pearcy couldn’t move past the 80’s and find something else that he enjoyed doing to make a living.

I can’t imagine being my age and trying to feather my hair or squeeze my ass into Jordache Jeans and sticking a comb in my back pocket to get a paycheck. It’s laughable! Spinal Tap was ages ago and Fast Times is even older. Every day is like Halloween for him now.

BTW - Round and Round was the sh*t for getting ready to go out. All of us girls would curl our hair and rock out to that song back in the day.

  35. I remember Ratt. Back when MTV actually played music videos. Their video for "Round and Round" had Milton Berl in it and was kind of funny with rats in the attic. Cute.

  36. He was wearing a suit when I met him. It seemed like he had no delusions about what he was then or now. He's not the first person over 40 to yearn for youth. Shit. I am right now.
