300: Rise Of An Empire

The sequel to 300 is not being released for nine months, but hey, might as well get people talking about the new movie. Yesterday the first trailer for the movie was released. It was supposed to be released in August and they pushed it to March. It probably means it is really bad at this point. The studio just says they are honoring the original which came out in March. Umm, no. It is because you think it will bomb as a summer movie filled with action summer movies that are better.

  5. I'll take a pass on this one. The original "300" was a piece of crap that might have appealed to a bunch of ten-year-old boys, but not to much of anyone else.

    1. The film horrified me. Beating on a little kid 'to make him strong'. What a bunch of abuser porn! Awful!!!

  9. Well, I liked 300 and thought this movie looked pretty cool, too. :) Granted, I don't require every movie I see to leave me feeling like I gained some new life lesson. Sometimes it's fun to just see cool fight scenes!

  12. I like the fact Lena Headey is back she was one kick ass queen in 300, and I see another kick ass female character, whip those boys into shape.

Are they dubbing Jason Mamoa's voice for Rodrigo Santoro or just slowing it down.

  13. Spartan Empire? If this was a historic documentary instead of gay sublimation, it would never pass the exam outside USA (and some other countries, regions) public school.
