Blind Item #6

This former A list reality star who then became a B- list celebrity before returning to reality television says that when she started dating her husband she told him she would only marry him if he had his peen circumcised. They got married, so...

No clue on who but circumcision on babies is cruel and uneccessary

  13. @SusanB - So you prefer the mutilated look? Nice.

I think its disgusting that doctors and mothers do this to healthy baby boys. Sorry but it makes me so angry when they could just wait until the child is old enough to make an informed decision. Especially when the procedure is irreversible.

So glad I wasn't born in the US.

    1. ^^this^^. I was not born in USA either but live there now. Huge culture shock when I was pregnant and all the ladies having boys planned to have them circumcised. My boy is still intact. No cosmetic surgery for this baby.

  14. I am strongly against circumcision, particularly on infants. Genital mutilation is genital mutilation, regardless of whether the baby is a boy or a girl! It shouldn't be allowed!

Also, an erect intact penis looks pretty much the same as a cut one (but without scars!) and intercourse tends to be more pleasurable for both parties when the foreskin hasn't been removed. It's weird to me how misinformed so many people are about it. In the US especially.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I've only seen an uncut peen once and it totally weirded me out. Like it or not, grady, circumcised IS the norm in the us. And there are health benefits of circumcision.

    1. Myth – Circumcising newborn baby boys produces health benefits later in life.

FACT – There is NO link between circumcision and better health. In fact, cutting a baby boy's genitals creates immediate health risks. The foreskin is actually an important and functional body part, protecting the head of the penis from injury and providing moisture and lubrication. Circumcision also diminishes sexual pleasure later in life.

    2. Myth – Circumcision is routinely recommended and endorsed by doctors and other health professionals.

FACT – No professional medical association in the U.S. or anywhere else in the world recommends routine circumcision as medically necessary. In fact, leaving boys intact is now the norm in the U.S., with circumcision rates well below 40%.

    3. Wow, I'm sure a website called intact America won't be biased at all. Everything I've read says the rates are the lowest in decades, but still at 55%, with different counties ranging from 15% to 85%.

That's all i choose to say on that because i just don't have enough troll feed to go around.

  19. @SurrenderDorothy: Lil bit of slobber prolly makes a better lube than anything growing under a hoodie.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Count, there should definitely not be anything "growing under the hoodie" - simple hygiene is all that's needed. The lubrication is more mechanical, for lack of a better word - the foreskin glides and provides much better sensation than fake lube. A lil slobber never hurts though.

    2. "The foreskin is the only moving part of the penis. During any sexual activity, the foreskin and glans work in unison; their mutual interaction creates a complete sexual response. In heterosexual intercourse, the non-abrasive gliding of the penis in and out of itself within the vagina facilitates smooth and pleasurable intercourse for both partners [see illustration]. Without this gliding action, the corona of the circumcised penis can function as a one-way valve, dragging vaginal lubricants out into the drying air and making artificial lubricants essential for non-painful intercourse."

  20. @Cathy - The health benefits are minimal or the results of studies are inconclusive. They mostly involve a reduction in risk of transmitting/contracting STIs but wearing a condom is infinitely safer.

This is hardly an issue for infants and if a grown man/adolescent boy was concerned enough about STIs to consider circumcision, then I don't see why they wouldn't be prepared to wrap up. Either way it would still be an informed choice by a relatively mature mind.

I see American women are freaked out when they see an uncut one, because cut is so prevalent but in Europe, cut is rare and I was freaked out the first time I saw one.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Circ rates in the US have gone way down, so cut will no longer be the norm. Do what you want with your kids but it's a little ridiculous how people act like a normal body part is some radioactive birth defect.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @SurrenderDororthy, why dnt u post a link about how men that aren't circumcised, need to properly clean their dicks because of known bacteria to grow underneath the extra foreskin. & I have never in my life seen scars on a male because they have been circumcised.

@Katie, I HIGHLY disagree w/ ur opnion on the better sex part. But that's just me.

    1. Here you go Warecat (from the Childbirth and Postpartum Professionals Association (CAPPA), in the October 2010 online edition of CAPPA Quarterly.)

"The foreskin is one of the most easiest cared for parts of the human anatomy, and the most important rule to remember is: only clean what is seen [3]. Proper infant hygiene, for both boys and girls, is just that straightforward. In fact, Marilyn Milos, RN describes the cleaning of the intact penis as very similar to cleaning one’s finger [4]. Only clean the external genitalia, what is exposed, using warm water. Soap is not needed. Intrusive or interior cleaning is absolutely never needed. The boy’s foreskin will naturally retract at a point in his maturation that is unique to him, usually around puberty. It is utterly imperative to note that forcible retraction should always be avoided, as it causes trauma, pain, and destruction of the developing tissue and natural flora... Once the boy has discovered that his foreskin is (naturally) retractable, he can easily care for his body through three easy steps: retract, rinse, and replace [4]. First, he can retract his foreskin. Using only warm water, he should not apply soap or any other substances on the mucosa membrane of the glans or the inner lining structure of the foreskin. Then, release the foreskin and allow it to naturally glide to its position [4]."

    2. @Surrender, thnx for the mentally disturbing 3 part cleaning ritual of a pre-pubesent boy cleaning his genitals. I totally agree now how sick it is that circumcised men have only one way to clean their penis. Soap & rinse off.

  23. @CountJerkula - nothing grows under the hood if you're clean. You'd have to not wash for a month to start cultivating some sort microbial infection. Smegma itself is a perfectly natural lubricant similar to sweat that only starts to build up and smell if you don't wash. Washing every day is a small price to pay to have an intact, fully functional penis that is more sensitive and (to me) more attractive than the mangled piece of meat between your legs.

  28. Doctors here in Canada routinely advise against circumcision, but a lot of them do say that a boy should be if his father is. I know very few men who are circumcised. While some of you are quite convinced its the norm, it isn't really and it's falling out of favour fast.

More importantly, a man who is not circumcised must keep it clean or it can get yeasty under the foreskin.... which is a pleasent surprise during oral sex.

    NOT.

  34. skimpymist, I wonder if the irony of your statement is lost on you.

Regardless, every single time someone brings up circumcision, my first thought is ladies and gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts and return your trays to their upright position. Gonna be a bumpy ride.

I personally give not fuck one about hooding on the attachment, it's the operator that matters.

  35. Circumcised makes it pretty. And we wonder why our society is the way it is.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm always amused by the people who insist that sex is better for the uncut. Might be, but since very few people have any real means of comparison, it's silly to make such a statement. I will say that I'd love to hear the opinion of the subject of this blind, though. He might actually have insight worth a damn.

As for the blind, people are looking at this the wrong way. The problem isn't insisting that he get snipped, it's making any demands as a prerequisite for marriage. Whether it's cut my dick off or put on different underwear, if the consequences are that she wouldn't marry me otherwise, I'm cashing in the wedding gifts and blowing it all at a European cathouse.

  37. One of my best girlfriends kept getting horrible UTI's and then when she broke up with her Canadian boyfriend, they stopped. The Dr. tol her his uncircumcised junk was the most likely culprit.

So I can see where some people may not be a fan.

  38. I have 43 years experience with an uncircumcised penis. No infections, no gunk, no yeast infections, no ripping of insides, no problem at all. Just to clarify. And i like the little turtleneck! Lol

  39. Sorry, I like circumcised junk & circumcised both of my boys. It's much prettier to most women, and far more pleasant when giving a hummer. I do know some grown men who have had to get circumcised due to problems with the foreskin. I don't know WTF the actual prob was, nor do I want to, in that same way guys don't want to know details about 'female' troubles leading to hysterectomies.

Please keep in mind that circumcision began as a religious practice. No matter what our hygiene is now.
And there is no comparison to male circumcision and female. Please don't even go there.
