Danielle Bradbery Wins The Voice

I didn't have my heart in it last night as I watched The Voice. I probably should have watched it at some point instead of right after I watched the NBA Finals, but I didn't want to wake up super early this morning. Somehow watching Cher and Annie Lennox is not as fun at 4 in the morning if you have just awakened. You can watch them at 4 in the morning if you have stayed up though. See, that 4 is different from a getting up at 4. A 4 that you stayed up for to watch Cher and Annie is probably a pretty good night. Anyway, for the third time in a row Blake Shelton's team won and for the third time in a row, I'm guessing we won't remember who won the show a few weeks from now. For now though, people will remember that Danielle Bradbery won and she is happy about it.

  1. At least American Idol has made a few stars that people have heard of. This show hasn't so investing time watching it is a waste just like America's Top Model or AGT orvBGT (for the English posters although BGT might have produced someone semi-famous.)

  2. @sandybrook - true, but that was back when idol was the only show of its kind - when was the last time any of the idol winners went on to actual fame?

  3. Not surprised she won. Adam Levine had called it earlier. Love Cher, but whoever had the idea for the wig she wore which can only be described as resembling roadkill needs to find another line of work.

  4. I hate that she won. She is constantly flat when she sings and it's annoying as hell. Auto-tune will be her best friend. At least the other two acts could sing on tune.

  5. @Cathy Daughtry? 3 or 4 years I guess not that I think AI is worth it either.

  6. Blake is invincible! I'm annoyed that he keeps winning. I would have loved for Shakira or even Usher to have won.

  7. Michelle should have won!!!

  8. I'm not far from Cypress, TX (where she is from). It's annoying how much people talk about her. I've never seen the show or heard her sing. I just don't care.

  9. Chris Daughtry didn't win Idol. He just used it as a springboard. Which kind of proves the point that nobody remembers AI winners...I've personally never watched the show, but I know who a handful of the former contestants are and most of them never won except for Kelly Clarkson.

  10. She has a pretty voice but she sings with no emotion. She can't connect to a song for her life.

  11. Phillip Phillips seems on track to be a pretty big thing. His second single is doing well.

  12. I was rooting for the Swon Bros. Michelle was good too. If Danielle was older she wouldn't have won IMO. The Voice is so much better than Idol. Usher and Shakira were good this season. It'll be interesting to see how it goes when xtina and Ceelo return.

I know Cher is nearly 70 and can wear whatever's she wants, but Bieber pants???

  13. My faves went home a long time ago, so I'm just happy Michelle didn't win - I have no idea why she even was in the final, other than for being different/gay/unique. She was one of the weakest voices of the entire season...

Well, I'm not watching next fall, since I don't like the old judges, but when Shakira and Usher are back - I'm back :)

  14. How did I miss Annie Lennox on the show last night?

    Christina looked fabulous.

    Wish Michelle had won.
