Amanda Bynes Gets Two More Weeks In The Hospital

Although Amanda Bynes' attorney made a very strong argument yesterday in court, a judge granted the request of doctors to keep Amanda in the hospital an additional two weeks. Doctors felt it was necessary to extend her 72 hour hold so they could further evaluate her. There have been a lot of reports coming from the hospital and these seem to be the most repeated rumors. Her parents are caring for her dog who was not injured in the fire incident. When Amanda discovered her parents were in charge of the dog, she said they would harm the dog. Amanda is said to be completely sane for 10 hours and then not sane for an hour. Hey, you put me behind the desk at work for ten hours and you come to talk to me at hour eleven and see how I am. Amanda did attend the hearing yesterday but did not have a selection of wigs from which to choose. She will also be at the court hearing this morning when her parents attempt to have her placed under a temporary conservatorship.

  2. I wonder what Britney Spears thinks about all of this Amanda Bynes 5150 hold/conservatorship talk. That is, if she had access to the news by her handlers.

But seriously, I hope that Amanda gets the help she needs to get healthy and happy in the long term, no matter what the outcome of this situation is.

  3. Sounds like she's getting the help she needs. Good for the judge. Hope her parents get a conservatorship over her. Enough with this mess.

  4. I realize that a lawyer's job is to defend their client, but shouldn't they also be concerned about the client's best interest? It seems pretty dumb to fight the additional two weeks, since that's clearly what she needs.

  5. If my ex was going on a 10-1 ratio, we'd still be together. Miss Mandy on a 10-1 would be a walk inthe park.

Get well soon Amanda. Just don't go back and read your Twitter timeline once you are well.

  6. She's a lot worse off than I thought. It's kind of scary. I hope she realises she needs to get better soon.

  10. I feel badly for her. I feel badly for her parents.

RE: the entry from Enty yesterday:

"I'm not sure Amanda's parents are the best people to be in charge of her. They seem oblivious to her and what she is doing. It seems from the outside that they don't particularly care what has been going on and have remained completely quiet."

We don't know what her parents tried to do and what advice they were given on their options.

It's hard to have someone's legal rights taken away. If it's true that she is lucid/sane/normal most of the time and not sane others, it would be even more difficult. Saying crazy things doesn't mean one is crazy. Spending all one's money doesn't mean someone is troubled enough to have their freedom taken.

Setting fires IS an indication of a dangerous person and (I think) was a God-send for her parents.

Hopefully, she will get the help she needs. Hopefully, she will stay on the medications she will be prescribed.

    Very sad.

  11. This situation with her sure has gotten the conpiracy people going on and on about how she is a MK ultra mind control victim who is "glitching"...lol.I feel really bad for her and hope she gets help. She was so beautiful and talented.I agree with the poster who said that we dont know what her parents have tried. If they tried to help her and didnt blab about it to the media doesnt that mean they are trying to protect her and not be like Lilos parents?

  12. Amanda is finally getting help. The dog is safe and being well cared for, and her parents are taking care of business for their daughter. All great signs. It takes time.

Where is Amanda's Wig? She is a delightful contributor and has done so without crossing the line of insensitivity, from what I've seen. Often times, in frustrating situations, it's best to find any humor and just go with it.

  19. Her mother was not 'denied' conservatorship today. The judge postponed his ruling until he speaks with Amanda. He'll rule on Aug 9th.

  20. Sigh ... this MJ Monach Illuminati rubbish needs to stop. The first sentence about it might seem vaguely possible, but then comes the rest of it which is batshit crazy conspiracy bollocks citing 'evidence' that is tenuous at best and usually completely incomprehensible.
