Announcements
Usually on Fridays I will have announcements and I didn't want to interrupt the flow to put them in a reveal during the middle of the day, so here they are now. I will be blogging all weekend and will have some reveals from the archives tomorrow and Sunday. Could be recent archives, but I am also thinking of one blind item from the past that it might be time to reveal. No, not MV. Anyway, I will be here and hope you will be too. Dearest Enty, to make things a little more interesting, I would like to suggest allowing your readers to vote on one blind reveal every July 4th and January 1st. It would be of the readers choosing, no matter how damning, revealing, law-inducing, etc. it might be.
ReplyDeleteI think it would keep those disappointed in the quality of reveals more engaged. It would be the mother of reveals among the stream of reveals you conduct on those days. Watcha think?

DeleteI got banned from Celebitchy for pointing out some obvious connections regarding the likes of Lohan, Bynes, Dourtney, blah blah blah. I would not advocate banning for opinions, even if controversial. But the filth these people spread is just unbelievable and unacceptable.
I just started participating a few months ago and I can see why people are beginning to quit the site. Really really sad.

ReplyDeleteFor those who don't pay attention to Alexa Rankings, CDAN has 3 rating spikes/year, New Years, July 4 and the Oscars. The barrage of lame blinds is an attempt to stretch out the ratings surge, lame dangling of bait in the form of a juicy blind from the past being revealed, surely a tell.

SophiaB, I've heard Celebitchy is very niche, as in if you disagree NO SOUP FOR YOU! COME BACK ONE YEAR. That sounds pretty boring. I wouldn't want to discuss things with people who always agreed. What's the point?
I don't think M or Marcie has shown up again. I don't think Massive G is M/Marcie. The speech patterns are completely different. M/Marcie is run on queen and often makes no sense whatsoever. Massive G is quite fluid in his/her speech, although disgusting. M/Marcie hasn't been back in awhile.
ReplyDeleteI kinda agree with @SillyGirl. The writing styles are completely different, Marcie was (and still is by the looks of her blog) very run-on with non-existent punctuation.
ReplyDeleteI know others won't agree, but I didn't find Marcie that bad, annoying certainly but not horrible. Her blog is a lengthy compendium of info on current missing/exploited children, which is not a bad thing. It seemed like she used her fake info on celebs to lure people to her blog to then get them to read about crime victims, which is certainly odd but not terrible.
Her story/s re Thomas Roberts was a hoot too. Such a diva.
Well said Anna N! I don't really care who people like Massive G is, I just want them gone. They are not discussing thing or form part of a healthy debate. They just waste my time. And spoil our fun. Kinda like a little kid being destructive because they seek attention.
