Blind Item #2
This former A list mostly movie actress who was this close to A+ before everyone realized she can't act and was not popular and made a string of bombs got naked with this almost B+ celebrity who everyone has been talking about this past year. As soon as they got naked though, the boyfriend of the almost B+ lister walked in the room and started undressing and that was the cue for the former A lister to grab her clothes and leave. I'm sure her husband was glad to get her back.

ReplyDelete@Libby - I know what you mean about "seeing" people act. Dustin Hoffman has always irritated me that way. He gets this twinkle in his eye like "damn, I am so on this, I am so nailing this scene..."

Awwww Libby, I hate disagreeing with you. I think she's given some crap performances but Portrait of a Lady, The Hours, Dogville - those really show her prowess.

DeleteNicole's a pretty good guess, actually. Assuming the last line of the blind is sarcastic, it's a good fit. I thought Heigl at first, too, but to me she's still known for being a bitch on Grey's Anatomy and whining about everything.

Jenny---IKWYM about some A+ older actors/actresses---They get praise for whatever they do for so long, it warps their effort level. Often go auto-pilot. jmo
On-topic, I like the Heigl guess because NOBODY lies her, and she had all the jobs for a minute.

DeleteI also disagree that Nicole is not a good actress. I'm not sure all her movies are great, but I think she is talented and I don't remember that many bad performances from her.

Not model material.
If you look at IMDB, the list of massive bombs she got paid $20M each to make is staggering. Scientology must have secretly produced them to buy her silence.

ReplyDeleteOh, Seabee--I am WELL aware of Nic's total overhaul & surgeries. i just meant i think she has TALENT as a model. Because it's not about just standing there, modeling. It can be, but those models don't last long or get re-signed.

Didn't Enty just have a blind or reveal about Keith Urban wanting a divorce? Nicole told him they needed to wait until after a movie or award or something. I doubt he would be happy to have her back. She's also not a bad actress. She has made some bad movies and not always had great performances but I don't think her multiple nominations and wins for the GG, Academy Awards and Baftas were flukes.

I don't like to think about Cold Mountain at all because it's a reminder that Anthony Minghella left us way, way, way too soon.
