Blind Item #4
This former member of an almost A list band that has since faded into almost obscurity and dependent on their next release for label survival is considered to be what made the band go. Now he is a shell of his old self and spends almost 24/7 doing drugs. Apparently he is just counting down the days until he is eligible for that celebrity club that no one really wants to join.

ReplyDeleteThis is off topic, but I checked out the Daily Mail to find the answer to this blind and I saw the Jason Biggs and his wife just announced they were expecting. I remember some blind in the last couple weeks involving a pregnancy and I remember posting, "If Jason Biggs' wife was expecting, this would so fit them." Anyone remember it??

ReplyDeleteI was thinking that the guys in 'nSync must be pretty bummed these days, considering that the NKOTB guys are touring State Fairs, etc. and making piles of money every summer, but they can't reunite (yet) because Timberlake is such a big star.

DeleteSo Who's born in 1986, 87 or 88 from a major boy band ? Kevin Jonas is 25 ... Bow Wow wasn't in a band but became famous around 2000ish and is 26. I got nothing else.

I'm embarrassed to admit this but I took my youngest 2 kids to see The Jonas Brothers in concert earlier this week (the things we'll do for our kids birthdays, right?) and Joe appeared to be sober. He actually was a pretty decent front-man, as well.

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the band is releasing an album, but he's no longer in the band? That's the way I read it. That should narrow it down a bit. That being said, I have no guesses.

Ryan Ross from Panic! at the Disco. He is 26. Broke with the band several years ago to do his own thing. Got busted by press doing drugs. His band never really went anywhere and Panic! is just never really done as well without him.

Tell ya what would be a cool concept, and I'll give this one away for just a free DVD, a one off special "Wu-Tang Variety Hour". Some comedy, some performing to transition between sketches, some guest appearances. They could work clean and be great. Get someone from FOX on the phone. We'll do it 8:30 to 9:30 on a Sunday, with guest spots on the Simpsons and Family Guy as the pregame and post game. When is the next sweeps, October? November? Plenty of time.
70's style sets too. We are going for cheesy and funny here.

ReplyDeleteBackstreet boys are still doing very well and making loads of money. Defnitely not in obscurity at all and all the band members are still part of the group. AJ's wife just had a baby and he is doing great too.
