Blind Item #8

This A+ list mostly movie actor from some of the biggest movies of all time who everyone thinks is gorgeous has lung cancer after 30+ years smoking. He is hopeful of a full recovery, but friends and family don't think he will live more than another year. He is too far gone.

  2. Redford? Though he didn't age well :(

    ReplyDelete
  3. I though Redford too, but he is 76....very rare for someone to start smoking after age 30.
Is Harrison Ford still considered "gorgeous"?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Cindy, I always thought that was too much sun. I didn't think Redford was a smoker. Years ago, I think when Havana came out, Elvis Mitchell described Redford as "leather with hair."

He's an early front-runner for Best Actor, though. Probably would have won at Cannes had his film been screened in competition.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I don't even think Ford is handsome, but I think this is him. Sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Age-wise, Clooney would fit.

    ReplyDelete
  7. My first thought was Pacino. Not sure about the gorgeous part though! Biggest movies of all time? Quite possibly.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Harrison Ford did Star Wars AND Indiana Jones--'Biggest of all time'. I know I don't have to remind y'all of that, but that's why i fear this is him. Also the age--30 years of smoking fits his age range better than RR.

Yes, HF is known as pretty gorgeous his whole life.

  9. Harrison Ford was my thought.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Eastwood? Reynolds?

Sounds like another story derived from the naughty nurse blind from yesterday. I don't remember what kept that dude bedridden though.

  11. I hope Tom Cruise smokes. :( btw Leah Rimini quit Scientilogy according to Page Six sick of all the interrogations and bs

    1. He does, enty commented once on his was breaking his cardinal rule by getting photographed carrying cigarettes... Plus Nicole was the one who paid the paps $1000 to delete pics of her smoking.
Dunno this is him but it's not impossible...

  13. Ford is gorgeous? First news. Handsome at best, as I have seen my whole life reading different magazines. I don't know it first hand as I'm straight and don't care about men beauty, but according to comments from females around, I don't recall HF as "gorgeous".

Gorgeous were Redford, Clooney, Pitt, Paul Newman...

  14. i like the harrison ford guess, but the 30+ years of smoking sounds like someone in their 50's or 60's rather than their 70's.

    ReplyDelete
  15. What Enty isn't telling you (out of the kindness of his heart), is that this actor is also suffering from psoriasis, warts, and Munchausen by Proxy syndrome. Breaks my heart.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Very sad for whoever this is, but I just can't have this be my Hubbel!!! I don't know if I will be able to recover when this man goes.

What about Michael Douglas? Other Men who everyone thinks are gorgeous? George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp? Lets hope it's none of these fine young fellas though either.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I thought of Viggo Mortensen, but not sure if he smokes.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Depp started smoking at the age of 12 and he just turned 50.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah if Leah doesn't mysteriously disappear she has a lot to say. We all may be aiming too old for an answer here a 30+ year smoker can be anything g from 45 up. I bet hes in his early 50s no more than that which is why I'm rooting for Cruise although he looks healthy.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I'M RIGHT HERE, LEAH! RESCUE ME!!!!

I'm glad that she's doing something, FINALLY. I've only been hidden away for six years, but who's counting?

  21. Eastwood and Reynolds are good guesses too. I was thinking that it was probably someone in their early 50's too, but the plus sign after 30 could mean 50 or 60 years of smoking...

    ReplyDelete
  22. So sorry guys, but it's who you think it is. This isn't something you make up, exaggerate, or keep secret.

  29. Looking for younger smokers I would add Denzel W., B. Pitt and M. Gibson as guys who might have been considered gorgeous.

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Z - You should IMDB him because I will miss a ton but The Natural, Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, The Way we Were, The Sting, All the President's Men

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks for your reply Stacey! But I don't consider those that big, do you?
I would consider Star Wars one of the biggest of all time.
    Have a great night! ♥

    ReplyDelete
  32. Sorry guys, it's Alan Alda.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Z those old Robert Redford movies were considered blockbusters in their day. He was very bankable.
Pierce Brosnan is a smoker, he was in a few James Bond movies that did well but not sure if they would be considered the biggest of all time.
I would think if someone is in recovery for lung cancer that means they are in remission.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Gorgeous is the clue. Clooney look great at his age my first thought was warren Beaty and Robert Redford. I'm going with Redford.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anonymous12:33 PM

I'm sad to say I also think that it's Harrison Ford for this one. So sad. No one does that gruff poker face like him.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Everyone thinks Alan Alda is "gorgeous?" Seriously?
And isn't he more famous for TV (MASH) than movies though he's done a lot of great movie roles?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yup, I do agree Snowy Owls (I LOVE owls so much, they are ultra cool!), The Way We Were was huge, but earlier all I could think of was the Sting, even though I always knew him as a big movie star! :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. I first thought of Warren Beatty too but he doesn't smoke. He smoked for a few years but that was it for him. Surprising but good for him for not following the crowd back then.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Now I know my age, are you kidding me? Redford was A+++++ and his movies were HUGE, both critically and financially. And he was considered GORGEOUS, didn't even pale in the movies with Paul Newman. God I feel old!

    I never considered Ford gorgeous.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Like rhinovodka - my first thought was Viggo Mortensen - he's in his mid-50's so the age is right, but I'm not sure he would be considered A+.

    ReplyDelete
  41. . . . and Viggo is a heavy smoker.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Nice, Amartel, disparage someone's looks when they have cancer. This blog has gotten so mean!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think everyone's too hung up on the 30+ years clue - Enty's not always that accurate with stuff like that. Gorgeous is the key, as is A+ and biggest movies of all time. I'm thinking Redford, or Harrison Ford. But when I think of a gorgeous former A+, I'm leaning towards Redford.

But, hello, Burt Reynolds was considered quite the hunk when he was in his prime. And Smokey and the Bandit? Does it get any bigger than that?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Richard Gere? Gorgeous could be a clue to "Pretty Woman" and he was so beautiful when he was younger.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Harrison Ford smokes POT, which I don't think is linked to lung cancer, is it?

DK about Redford, but never heard that about him. I know a masseuse who had him as a client and HATED touching his warty, wrinkly back :-p

  46. Sam Elliot- Mask & Roadhouse

  48. Peter O'Toole - Lawrence of Arabia, Caligula, My Favorite Year, et al. His film list is so long it needs it's own Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_O%27Toole_filmography

Gorgeous. BIG smoker. My personal fave of his gorgeousness on celluloid: "How to Steal a Million" with Audrey Hepburn.

    ReplyDelete
  49. But the language says "everyone thinks IS gorgeous". Present tense, not past tense. Who's really good looking and 45+? I don't think Beatty, Redford, or Ford could be considered "gorgeous" now. Does Hugh Jackman or Daniel Craig smoke?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Wow..never thought about Richard Gere....

    ReplyDelete
  51. Nooo this cannot be Liam or Richard. And Liam IS gorgeous (there is no need for past tenses when it comes to him).

I honestly hope this is one of those fake blinds because all of the actors mentioned would be a shame to lose to lung cancer :(

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hi there - long time lurker first time poster. I was thinking Antonio Banderas. He's been looking really unhealthy lately - very skinny and wearing a lot of foundation. Not sure if everyone thinks he's gorgeous but I do! It's very sad whoever it is.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Banderas is a smoker. He was considered gorgeous just a few short years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Clooney or Depp would be rough. I think either of them or Harrison. Maybe don't smoke, dudes. Just a thought.

    ReplyDelete
  55. It doesn't fit, but it made me think of Kirk Russell. Years ago a friend of mine was trying to do some tests on him and he kept running off every 5 minutes to have a cigarette. Such a chain smoker.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Banderas looks AWFUL right now!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Nope. It's Alda. All Alda. all the time.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Wendy Williams said she was surprised Antonio's marriage lasted this long, what with his wife having bad plastic surgery and all. Rude.

    ReplyDelete
  59. But what big movies has Banderas done?

I hate to think this is Viggo, not everyone considers him gorgeous? I refuse to believe it's Clooney. I'm leaning towards Depp. Unfortunately. Or maybe HFord.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Mel Gibson. I think he smokes like 2 packs a day.

  66. Johnny Depp would fit - he's done some TV, but "mostly movies"...but then again, so has George Clooney, but Depp does have some of the biggest grossing movies of all time, age wise he fits - i hope it's not him :(

    ReplyDelete
  67. Johnny Depp does fit, but is he still gorgeous?

    ReplyDelete
  68. I like Richard Gere for this except that he hasn't been in anything that would be considered one of the biggest hits ever. It gotta be someone older because any of the under 60 group probably would have made tabloids by now.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I read this as Brad Pitt but I don't think he's been in some of the biggest movies of all time. Johnny Depp fits better

    ReplyDelete
  70. Arnold Schwarzenegger FTW.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Could be Keeanu. He seems dumb enough to be told he's got cancer, then try BS snake oil treatments until it is too late.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I also thought Sean Connery, and it would be somene 50+

    ReplyDelete
  73. Agreeing w Count. Keanu has been in China way linger than necessary filming his movie, and maybe his weight gain is corticosteroids? Gah, hope not!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I just can't stop thinking it's Bead Pitt...

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think it may be Robert Redford and the line "hello gorgeous" ??

    ReplyDelete
  76. Most people start smoking in high school around age 15 so it's probably someone in their mid-40s or early 50s. Guess we'll find out next year when we've all forgotten.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Wasn't Keanu devastated because his sister had cancer? I don't think he'd play around with it.

Love all the suggestions, and reminds me of the gorgeous men I've had to dream about these past 30 years! Depp, Keanu, Clooney, Banderas, Brosnan (i'm throwing him in!), Gere, Pitt, Cruise, Jackman. Hey, who's the jerk that left off Russell Crowe?! I'm telling him y'all all left him off and he will be at your house tomorrow to throw a telephone at you!

    ReplyDelete
  78. It's going to be a total mind fuck when one of you is right a year from now. I'm marking it on my calendar right now.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Bruce Willis. Just cuz he's bald. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  80. Anonymous8:26 PM

"Hello, gorgeous" is from Funny Girl with Barbara Streisand and...Omar Shariff, an extremely handsome actor.

    ReplyDelete
  81. My first thought was Depp... I've heard stories about him reeking of cigarettes. Maybe that has something to do with why his non-marriage ended? A lot of women won't stick around if a guy wants to keep killing himself (by smoking)?

    ReplyDelete
  82. And you would be wrong, but kudos for publishing your completely superficial beliefs about relationships.

    ReplyDelete
  83. But Keanu got rid of his lung cancer by going into hell after Rachel Weisz. So he's cured.

Antonio Banderas does look bad. He was the puss in boots voice for Shrek, and that plus the sequels were big movies. He also had the Spy Kids series which did well with the kids. Plus Zorro. It could be him. So terrible, whoever it is.

    ReplyDelete
  84. The only real chain smoker forever anyone has mentioned is Mel Gibson.

  85. Charlie Sheen: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2263565/Charlie-Sheen-gets-chilling-warning-40-day-habit-appearance-Dr-Oz-television-show.html

  86. 40/day aint nothin, only 2 packs. I'f I was coked out of my mind for weeks at a time, I'd be at 4pks a day. Of course he does spend a ton of time porkin whores, so maybe I would expect him to be at 3pks.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Not sure if it's him or if anyone would call him gorgeous, but I've heard stuff about Samuel L. Jackson being bad off lately.

  88. On Charlie Sheen's "Bucket List":
    1) Try to help Brooke get sober (last attempt).
    2) Give Denise full custody of my boys, 'cuz Brooke will probably NOT stay sober.
    3) Try to remarry Denise, so that we have less Probate issues.
    4) If Denise won't marry me again, set up iron-clad Trust, & buy her a new, larger home, so that she can continue taking care of my kids.
    5) Engage in random acts of kindness, such as: helping Lindsay Lohan pay off her IRS debt.
    6) Fly to Scotland, & party with Nessie... http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/07/11/charlie-sheen-reportedly-visits-scotland-searches-for-loch-ness-monster/

The truth is out there, Just "Google" all items on "Bucket List".
