Justin Bieber Breaks Make-A-Wish Record

For the 200th time, Justin Bieber met with someone set up by the Make-A-Wish program. That broke the record for a recording artist with the program. See, I am not all about hatred of Justin Bieber. I fully admit there are kids and tweeners out there that worship the ground Justin Bieber walks on and that in their eyes he can do no wrong. I also realize that some of those people are dying or suffering from terrible illness or tragedy and that their one wish is to meet Justin Bieber. To give the kid his due, he meets them as much as possible and tries to do something special and unique for each one. Over the weekend, Bieber met with an 8 year old girl who is suffering  from a life threatening liver condition. She had to wait almost 8 months to meet Bieber after having her wish granted. After the 8 year old asked Justin to marry him, he said he was supposed to do it and presented her with a ring pop as he got down on one knee.

  6. Crap. So if I'd killed him last week, this little girl wouldn't have that memory. Doesn't that just frickin suck?
    Smarmy little punk/PR genius.
I double hate him for generating this internal conflict.

  9. I'd heard he does a lot of this kind of charity work and I have to give him props for it. Why can't the rest of him be kind and good instead of douchey and evil?

  10. He accepted an 8 years girl proposal of marrying? He is a pederast, besides a short-weiner lesbian lookalike.
This was ironic, but those wishes can backfire in some twisted minds.

  11. Bieber's PR person outdid him - herself on this one. Deserves a raise.

  12. Mad props to him for doing this...and no one is all good or all bad. He is still just a kid (well, in this old broad's eyes) and still finding his way.

Oh, god, Beibs...just keep doing the good shit, 'kay?

  14. I happy that the little girl was able to have her wish fulfilled. I'm actually pleasantly surprised he was able to turn down the douche level to do this.

  16. Good for him. Nobody is all good or all bad--this counts for a lot when you look at his overall behavior.

Glad he does this and I hope he keeps doing it.

  17. I'd ask my kid to please make a wish to meet someone else. ANYONE else.

  18. 200 times?

    Nope, he's not all bad.

He needs to pull up his pants, but anyone who goes to visit dying kids 200 times isn't all bad.

  19. It would be awesome if this girl lived and showed up in 15 years to collect. "You proposed to me, bitch! Now let's go!"

  20. He may be a douche in many ways, but it is awesome that he does this. I've heard a lot about what he does with Make A Wish, and I think it is fantastic. I'm sure he made this little girl's year by doing that.

  21. Good for Justin.

I'm so sad there are so many sick kids in the world.

  22. Yes props for that and i hate the kid

Jb if you showed us this side of you more often even to not ill people well it would be cool

  23. It may be publicity, it may be image rehab BUT he did meet these kids. He made their wish come true and that is a great thing. Now if he would pull up his pants, put on a shirt and stop being a little jerk he could do a lot more great things.

  24. Does it matter whether he is a douche or if this was PR? He just made Little Girl wish come true. That's all that matters.

  25. I can't stand him, but even so I will give credit where credit is due. Good for him for making a sick child happy.

  26. Agree with Tru on this... kudos to Bieber's PR person.

I don't believe for a sec that this was Bieber's idea or that he'd do it unless there was something in it for himself (i.e. good publicity for a change).

  27. Not to snark but John Cena has granted OVER 400. Just saying Enties, if you want to give props at least give it to those who actually give a shit and aren't doing it because they need the publicity.

  28. I can't stand him either, but then again,if seeing him added a few more minutes of life to my kid, I'd be a fan for life.

  29. Ugh, I am reallllllly not defending him, but.... Even before Bieber was in the news for being an asshole, he was doing Make A Wish. Ugh, I need to take a shower now.

  30. Goddammit, now I hate him more. Just when I'd thought he was 100% certified douchebag worthy of all my utmost contempt, he does this.

  31. Grammar is not my friend, and I'm sad.

  32. Girl with life-threatening illness has to wait 8 months for a little meet and greet?

Hmm, not such great PR put that way.
