Blind Item #5 - Fashion Week
This A list designer was asked if this former A list tween actress and now a C+ list actress with A list name recognition trying to make it in acting again could have a front row seat to the show. The designer said no because the actress is not in much any longer and he only has time for people who are popular. Later that day the designer got a call from his nominal boss/financial backer and yelled at for 15 minutes. The actress is their number one customer and spent several hundred thousand of her own dollars on the designer's fashions last year and called the boss and said she would never do business with the company again. The designer tried to call the actress but she wouldn't take his call. He forgot she is rich without acting.

ReplyDeleteAgree with Hillary Duff she has bank and her husband is an heir to a furniture empire in Canada on top of the Hockey money.
I think Mike Comrie is also heir to "The Brick" fortune, a chain of furniture/appliance stores that is huge here in Canuckland.

Nope. Negatif. Not the Olsens.
It also says she is trying to make it in acting again, which should be a big clue. Duff hasn't done much lately, but she got married and had a baby. I'm sure she probably has offers, but took time off. I don't think the Olsens are interested in acting anymore. They only care about chain-smoking and walking around looking like they are 80-year-olds. Maybe someone like Rooney Mara? Isn't she the one from a big football family?

ReplyDeleteI believe Hillary is getting back into acting according to her Instagram, either a show or movie. So she probably wanted a seat to boost her image again and because of her brand loyalty. What a dumb move on the designer's part.

ReplyDeleteIf there's been a Chanel show recently, I'd say this was Miley Cyrus - she's been decked out head to toe Chanel recently. I know she didn't get much shit from them for free. I could see a classy, top designer not wanting her in the front row after her recent stunt. I'm pretty sure I read that she's trying to do movies and she's loaded from Hannah Montana.
