Blind Item #6 - Kindness
This B+ list actress has a credit list longer than most. Well over one hundred. Foreign born and on a hit cable show for the past several years. Always gorgeous. She is also one of my favorite people so this is probably a little biased. When one of her kids went to college this year the child told her mom about a student there who was working three jobs because the school had told the student there was a scholarship available but it turns out there wasn't. The student had some financial aid but not enough because the school is pricey. Our actress heard about it and is footing the entire college bill. Not just for the year but the whole four years.

Sofias show is on ABC anyway. Someone from a hit show on Lifetime probs and I don't watch that station at all.

ReplyDeleteGabriella does have a daughter old enough for college, could be her. She's supposed to be very down to earth too. I was shocked when I learned she has 3 kids, she is so naturally thin.
ReplyDeleteSophia is on a network, not cable. Cable shows (assuming he would say premium cable if it were) would be things like Mad Men, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad......Hmmm....

ReplyDeleteThe Burn Notice actors probably make good money - the show is USA's biggest hit since Monk. It will (if it isn't already) be syndicated to at least one other network: Monk has been on at least three that I've seen. So this woman is probably wealthy and could do that for a student. What a lovely thing.

ReplyDeleteHate to burst the Anwar lovefest (I'm a Burn Notice fan myself) but the blind says the actress has over a hundred credits. Anwar barely has fifty (53 to be exact according to IMDB). Need someone else.

ReplyDeleteJoanne Whalley (Borgias) has a son, Jack, who would be a college freshman this year.
ReplyDeleteBut not sure if Whalley has a hundred credits, probably, if you count each TV episode (this would work with Anwar, too, i.e. counting each episode)
So either Jack Kilmer or Willow Anwar, i.e. Joanna Whalley or Gabrielle Anwar -- there's really no one else who fits this...
I hate to be a naysayer about this but what kind of college gives you a scholarship then tells you there isn't one after you've set up shop there. That's screwy.
