Blind Item #7
This newlywed couple is already on the rocks. Two main reasons are that the A list (it pains me to say that) celebrity/singer husband has discovered his A list (it pains me to say that) celebrity/singer wife is a pain in the butt and has been spending all of his money and saving hers and she caught him texting and having phone sex with at least two of his exes. It's interesting to me that her friend who I got this from freely admits the wife is a big pain and is not just trashing the husband.
It's again Robin Thinke/Patton week or not ?

ReplyDeleteI don't know if getting married 2 years ago still qualifies as "newlywed", probably does in wacky Enty-world, but it sounds like the Blake Sheldon/Miranda Lambert rumours, where she admitted she stalks his phone and email to see if he's cheating.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, and Ryan might be near A-List, Blake is certainly not, and they are not singers. I have no doubt that they are on their way out.
"It pains me to say" Chad and Avril are both A list. Just look at their record sales. They fit this blind perfectly.
ReplyDeleteAlthough they're seemingly the only ones who fit, they're still not A list. Avril's first album still accounts for over half her total sales. So by record sales, She may have at one point been A, but hasn't been for awhile. And Nickelback is still Nickelback...
ReplyDeleteI think they're an A-list couple (on their own, not so sure, but they are well-known as infamous) - they could easily get a magazine cover, Nickelback still performs REALLY WELL and Avril's new album releases will get mainstream press mentions, tv play, maybe some alt radio play. Enty's descriptions of the two also fit.
ReplyDeleteNobody HAS to like Nickelback, but they still sell out stadiums so clearly a lot of people do. I would question Avril as A list, though.

ReplyDeleteI think those guessing Avril/Kroeger are correct. These are the only two that fit. Unfortunately, they are A list, because there are a lot of people out there with very bad taste in music.

ReplyDeleteBlake and Miranda, on the other hand, have TV credits with The Voice and Nashville Star. I think this is about them. They haven't been married that long....
The radio station i listen to addressed the Nickleback complaints. They said they regularly poll listeners about the music they want to hear, and Nickleback is always way up there.So as many people complain about them, a whole lot of people are listening to them.

Scott Stapp just went "I'm going to be a douchebag at Denny's".
Avril sat back and cackled while Michelle Branch moved to Nashville and kept writing songs.
If I paid ten cents for Chad Kroeger's new album I would expect to get a Nickelback. Just sayin'.
