Blind Item #8

Her rich parents cut her off so this former B- list mostly movie actress with a very famous character to her credit is turning tricks while attending an Ivy League university in the town where her most famous character lived.

  1. Unless you broads come up with a good one, I'm gonna fantasize it is Emma Watson.

  2. Please she's loaded......

  3. Couldn't think of anyone for this except Rooney Mara but her most famous character lived in Sweden.

  4. Emma doesn't go to an Ivy anymore, right? She quit Brown.

  5. AND what Misch said

  6. Rooney Mara went to GW and NYU, though.

I don't understand the "former" part of this, though. Then again, the writing here never does any favors.

  7. Did Julia Styles go back to Columbia for a post grad or something?

  8. I don't know. Google "ivy league actress" and they have about 40 actresses who aren't currently attending on an IMDB list. Some would have made sense years ago, but not today.

  9. It's not Emma. She took a year back in England then went back to Brown. She's loaded.

  10. I feel like the "former" implies that the person is no longer acting, so it could be a child star, who's now in an ivy league as an undergrad?

  11. I thought Alexis Bledel but I guess it was just her character that went to Yale, she was at NYU.

  12. While googling... didn't know that Ashley Judd has a masters in public administration from Harvard's Kennedy School. Class of 2010. Good for her.

    1. She is a pretentious hillbilly. Always using "big" words unnecessarily.

  13. Emma's father is a partner at a giant law firm so they definitely have money.

  14. Keep trying to make Anna Chlumsky or Larissa Oleynick work. Nada.

  15. I feel like this should be easier....

  16. Very famous character feels like someone who played someone like "Annie", or "Eloise"

  17. So lets think who's in school now...

  18. I hope it is someone who goes to Princeton and she doses me her rates in my email.

Famous female, probably young, characters from these locales:

    Princeton, NJ
    NYC
    Philly
    Providence, RI
    Cambridge, MA
    New Haven, CT
    Ithaca, NY
    Hanover, NH

  19. Sofia Vassilieva played ELOISE a famous character, her parents were both scientists. She is currently at Columbia in NYC same location as her famous character ELOISE lived.

    But is she B list?

  20. Emma's most famous character didn't live in an Ivy League school city.

  21. Emma Watson is vastly wealthier than her parents will ever dream of being. She is still a Brown University student, needing just a few more credits to graduate, (She was seen on-campus there within the past couple of weeks, and tweeted a "thank you" to a professor who teaches a course on Iranian culture or some such.)

Also, she's got a BF from a very wealthy Boston-area family.

    Definitely not her.

  22. What about Bonnie Wright, Ginny from Harry Potter. She is studying in London (never said the school had to be stateside), and her parents own some semi major jewelry company.

  23. @Kristin: Ivy League schools are all in the north east of the USA.

    1. Derp. I always forget Ivy League is both caliber of school and geographic location.

      Delete
    2. @Kristin, ivy league specifically refers to 8 elite universities in the NE, USA. There are many other elite universities, but they are not ivy league. For instance, Harvard is an ivy league university. Stanford (CA) and MIT (MA) are "merely" elite universities (and never referred to as ivy league).

  25. Wasn't there a TV show set in Providence?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble with this one. I'm stumped. What movies have been set in Rhode Island or Princeton? Maybe it's Columbia and NYC?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Has to be someone at Penn, Harvard or Columbia. All the other cities hosting Ivy's are too small to trick in, if you're famous, without be exposed.

  28. Profane: You have no clue about Jersey, huh? Tiny ass state, needs 4 BackPages to cover all the hookers. Of course she probably isn't a BP hooker, so you can think of the agencies that work Central Jersey.

I figure any Ivy League town probably has some coeds up on sugar daddy sites.

And finally, if she is college age, and a former B- list, she is probably a child star who grew up, so may not be easily recognizable.

Think about it. B- list star from 4 years ago isn't going to be noticed by a middle aged whore monger.

  29. @PugsterMom - IIRC, it's not a real MPA. It's one of those take-three-weeks-of-workshops degrees.

  30. Ah, I see the Count is familiar with Jersey. Not the way I view it, but hey. To each their own. :)

  31. Can't be Chlumsky, she went to the University of Chicago, not an Ivy.

  32. My daughter's meeting with Princeton this weekend, I'll have to ask the guy if anyone famous goes there....

  34. Princeton and Yale are both an hour outside of New York.

  35. I think it was last year Princeton had a hooker scandal. kid working in the campus bookstore had a hooker come in the store twice. I think he paid her out of the register and let her loot some stuff on her way out. I think they were caught by surveillance cameras. cute whore too. I seen her facebook page. Didnt try to friend her.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I don't think Thora's daddy would cut her off or share her.

  37. Ivy League was a direct reference to their sports conference. That is why other elite schools are not Ivy League.

    1. Yes, and 7 of the original 9 colonial colleges (along with the non-Ivy League Rutgers and W&M) only Cornell is not one of the 9.

That, of course, has nothing to do with the Ivy League itself; just an interesting side of incidental information I have rolling around in my head.

    2. That last reply was to @Count (or, I suppose, anyone else interested)

  38. "Profane: You have no clue about Jersey, huh?"

I know Jersey quite well, and specifically the Princeton area. New Haven and Providence as well, which are both bigger than the 'burbs around Princeton. You couldn't turn tricks in any of those areas if you are famous without being found out.

Has to be a fairly large metro area, so thus Boston, NYC or Philly. It's probably just Boston or NYC because most people don't think of Penn as an Ivy, even though it's one of the better ones.

  39. "Stanford (CA) and MIT (MA) are "merely" elite universities"

Stanford is "mere" in a lot of ways. I don't consider it an elite undergraduate school.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @Count, using any measure of the definition of "elite" (academics, sports, acceptance rates, faculty) most people would consider Stanford not only elite but one if the very top universities in the US (no, I'm not an alum).

    2. @BProfane, not Count. Sorry.

  40. Stanford is most definitely an elite school. I'm a recruiter and trust me, those grads are in demand. Big time.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Stanford: hard to get in- harder to flunk out.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Profane: If the chick is college age and former B-, then she was probably a B- child star. A B- child star who never made big enough money to be insulated from Mom and Dad cutting her off. That could easily allow her to fly under the radar. Especially if she every had any work done, like a nose job or something.

I aint sayin this whore is definitely in Princeton, I'm just saying it can't be ruled out.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Columbia is Ivy League and in NYC, which would make more sense as to where a famous character was located.

One of the chicks from Gossip Girls?

    ReplyDelete
  44. The only other Ivy League that is listed in a non-college town is U Penn in Philly ... what shows or characters were there?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Is Hogwarts an Ivy League school? If so, my guess is Emma Watson who transferred there from Brown.

    ReplyDelete
  46. How can it possibly be Emma Watson?

She is fantastically wealthy on her own.

If her 'parents cut her off', so what? She could buy and sell her parents, she doesn't need their money.
