Blind Item #9
This former almost A+ list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee is also an ass. A big one. It is one of the reasons why he has moved down to the permanent B range. He rarely works and if he did not have that statue he would probably be a C. No one wants to work with him. For his last movie which was a big budget movie he was asked to do press. He refused. He was then coerced into doing an interview. He was asked about one of his former co-stars who also has a statue. He said how much she was a hack and then stopped himself and said he had forgotten that he had sex with her so she wasn't a hack, just a s**t. That was his last interview for the movie.

ReplyDeleteI was maybe thinking Joe Pesci. Award winner, has barely worked in recent years, and one of last films was Good Shepherd. Worked with Marissa Tomei who has an Oscar.

No way is this Adrien Brody. Yes, he's been the subject of many nasty blind items, but what was the last big budget movie he did? "Predators"? That was several years ago.

What does calling a female a "hack" even mean? Untalented? What about Christian Bale?

ReplyDeleteDouche Brody is in Third Person with Kim Basinger, who has won several awards, including Academy and Golden Globe. Third Person premiered at TIFF.
My first guess was Kevin Costner. Academy award for Dances with Wolves and he was A++ in the late 80s and 90s. He's been a douche in the last few interviews I've seen him do. And he definitely doesn't work a lot any more. Big movie was Man of Steel.

ReplyDeleteNot Bobby D - still works frequently and is absolutely A if not A+. Is Brody even B anymore? He did a razor ad and an alcohol had recently and I haven't seen him in an actual production in years, so...maybe him,
ReplyDeleteIf he was willing to tell a reporter on the record that he'd slept with his former co-star, then he probably wasn't married at the time of that movie with her. Probably doesn't narrow it down much, but might help to figure out who it is.
