ReplyDeleteI hate on Joan Rivers' fashion-whatever show, the three others on the panel fake this proariously laughter and giggles when she tells her stupid jokes and slams people's outfits. They all cover their face and pretend its hilarious and shocking -- they were all on the Today show doing it again. It's draining. (end Joan rant)

ReplyDeleteWelp he's back! "Chain smoking" is his usual term for whenever he sees someone with a cigarette. As opposed to just "smoking a cigarette" or "having a smoke" which had been used in the last few weeks. Just saying.

ReplyDeleteChaz and Xtina both look great! CZJ is allegedly 43 but I'd put her closer to the 49-52 range based on outward appearances. I think she definitely shaved a few years off.
ReplyDeleteI love Joan Rivers. Watch the documentary about her. It may change your mind. That's a tough broad. I think her ripping on FP is all in good fun. The MTV Video Awards epi kinda sucked though. I think they needed Giuliana.

I agree with everyone about the annoying fake laughter on "Fashion Police". One of the reasons I stopped watching it is because I got so sick of the phoniness, particularly Kelly Osbourne saying, "Oh. My. God!" in that dramatic way every single time Joan said something mildly offensive. There was also too much celebrity ass-kissing for me, again mostly on Kelly's part. Hmm. Maybe they should just fire Kelly and the show would be watchable again.

Hey! I lost almost 50 pounds and before I did, I RAN from the cameras. Okay, walked slowly. Yes, everyone should love themselves at whatever size, but if you aren't comfortable, you don't want anyone recording that shite for posterity. So now Christina is feeling all foxy and photographable, cut her some slack. There will be lots of time to pick on her for her sh^tty attitude.

i think it's melissa who made her jump the shark - sorry melissa. same with guiliana - everyone felt so bad for her with her cancer and infertility struggle but then she doesn't seem to have gained any perspective on life from those experiences and is thinner and more superficial and greedier than ever. i took it off my tivo - still love the snarky jokes but know too much about the people.
CZJ does look awful. I hope she'll take care of herself.
ReplyDeleteJoan is sooooo tiny. Even in 4" heels. She was being ushered through a crowd at a convention, and she was the smallest person in the room. Not just short, but very, very slight.
ReplyDeleteWhy does everyone think CZJ has lied about her age when her birth certificate is a matter of public record and readily available online just like everyone else's in the UK? Plus she was a child actor so it's pretty easy to get information about her age because of the stage productions she was in. I have never understood why every time her name comes up, people start saying that she lied about being born in 1969, even though her age is easily verifiable. What gives? I'm being serious.

ReplyDeleteIt is sad to think about how a 2013 young Helen Mirren would be pressured to lose 20 lbs and get a nose job. Then fast forward forty years and she would look awful instead of the awesome hot older woman she is now. You go Ms Mirren!
ReplyDeleteHelen Mirren, awesome. CZJ is always listed as 38...Anyway, she is struggling tremendously and it is clear she is not eating. I don't think she has an eating disorder, I just think that whatever drugs she is on, she is not eating.

@Bangagong as far as I know CZ has never lied about her and you're right, it's a matter of public record. The reason people say she lies has more to with the fact they don't like her than anything she's actually done.

@anotheramy and @frosty I would interpret the "she is younger than she seems" as that she, even when she was younger, came across as older because of her attitude and the way she held herself, not that she lies about her age. That makes sense to me because Michael Douglas is 25 years older than she and she seemed happy with him for a long time. But I swear, I think when it comes to CZJ, people (and I'm including some folks on this site) will say,"She doesn't look ___!" and then insert some random number and start acting indignant. I just find that weird.
