If this happens payback would be incredible. This female talk show host is being cheated on by her husband with a woman who is super young. he is smitten like a puppy dog. If ends up splitting with the talk show host there is no way she would ever be able to build those bridges she has burned over the years.

Wendy's husband is one of the executive producers of her show.
If this is Julie Chen why would she have anything to worry about? If her husband leaves her (like he left his wife for her) she would be more than well off because he is rich as Midas and she has his baby. The girl would get MILLIONS and could also get a show out of him as part of the divorce settlement. So, no this can't be Chen.

@Essie: I would bet Moonves has an iron clad prenup, and he knows at all times how much FU money he will have to put in a check for her.
ReplyDeleteBesides, you have any idea how fast divorce money will evaporate if she attempts to live the same lifestyle? Les probably don't pay for flights, they likely take the Viacom corporate jet. They likely travel in a Viacom limo. And on and on. She will get a cut of his $$, but not the perks.

Ripa is frequently featured in tabloids, saying what a wonderful life she has and thanking her lucky stars for all that she has ... 'doth protest too much' 'n all that; read into it what you will.

What the Count said. Julie has never been someone who hides her ambition and it was a big deal when Moonves left his wife for her. If he cuts her loose for someone else she'll get whatever she agreed to in the prenup and that's it.
ReplyDeleteWendy Williams did come to mind because she put a lot of peoples business in the street and has for years. That said many of those she stressed are no longer that big a deal and can't affect her cash flow.
Sharon Osbourne came to mind too but with her husbands drug history I can't imagine him having the strength or ability to satisfy a young'un.

ReplyDeleteI think it has to be Chen because she basically works for her husband - all her work comes from CBS. If they divorced, she'd have to find work elsewhere and if she's burned bridges that will be difficult. None of the others mentioned would lose everything like that because of a divorce. And, yeah, I'm sure she'd never have to worry about money again but this is about her career being over.
