Blind Items Revealed

 March 21, 2013

This A+ list mostly movie actor describes himself as a family man. He must love families because besides his public family, his long time mistress has two kids of her own with the actor who financially supports them and does so with the blessing of his wife.

Denzel Washington

  1. I wouldn't put up with it, but the wife is apparently 100% informed so, whatever works for them I guess.

  2. He's not going behind his wife's back and he's taking care of his responsibilities. So what's the big deal?

  3. Girlfriend wants to keep getting Denzel $$...She'll keep on putting up with the second family too.

Sad that so many will do it, but if none of the parties mind, why should I?

  4. Because the image be puts out is exactly opposite. That's the big deal.

  5. She has the choice to live with it or leave. She could probably get a nice coin if she left, so that leads me to believe they have an arrangement.

  6. Blessing or acceptance? I don't think this is a surprise to anyone. Denzel probably has a few mistresses.

  7. agree with Renoblondee

    it's called being a hypocrite

  8. @caralw It's more than money, but that is the main motivator. She gets his money now anyway, but I'd she leaves with a settlement...The access and perks are gone as well.
    No more
Going to the Oscars with great seats because your husband is nominated, calling the most known designers for a one-of-a-kind dress, getting the best table at the restaurant because you're Mrs. Denzel Washington, etc.
I'm not pretending to speak for his wife's motivations- but all of that could play a part too.

  9. "Celebrity Net Worth" claims Denzel is worth $140 million. I have no idea if that's right or not. But let's say they are tens of millions of dollars off, he's still worth a shit-ton of money. So Mrs. Washington might not be happy about it, but I'll bet the piles of cash go a long way in drowning her sorrows.

  10. It's funny but his wife could make a killing since they were married prior to his success so they never filed a pre-nup because they did not foresee him becoming "DENZEL WASHINGTON". I am sure he pays her well so as to not have her take him for everything at this po.

  11. Speaking as a very happily married old broad, I have to also say that she is probably okay with this all around.

I would be hurt by an emotional affair, but after 30 years together, I know damn well my husband would love to have something else for dinner, so to speak. I told him several years ago if he went to Vegas for a wild weekend every now and then and didn't get attached and didn't catch anything, I wouldn't be hurt.

He says he hasn't because he would be mad if I did the same, but who knows??

We still have sex regularly, but he's 100 percent male and I'm sure he'd love to go get him some side action now and then, and I am secure enough not to mind.

Now, if he took and fell in love and left me, I'd kill him slowly, but a wild weekend with a few chicks he'll never see again wouldn't bother me.

  12. I've only been married not quite 8 years but the longer I am, the less I think I know about it and the less I think anything really traditional would work. So if it works for them, whatever. Maybe they are all in love. It could happen

  13. Denzel's not worth anywhere near $140 million. I'd say probably around $80million.

That being said, the wife is allowed to get 50% of that.

  14. if she knows and doesnt care than their relationship could be far beyond romantic after all these yrs
they are family and cant imagine the other not being around. Friends

  15. He was with Sanaa Lathan for a while. Rumored they have a child together too. She did disappear for a little while. When their affair became public, she announced she was engaged. The rumor died down and no more talk of an engagement.

  16. @talkstoomuch. I got divorced after 23 years of marriage..because I caught him cheating. I know I would like something "different for dinner" after that amount of time and I had told him before..We can talk about "free time", but don't EVAH let me catch you creeping. Just like Tammy said...if you are both in agreement and your partner is good with it--the rest can work itself out. But when you are Lyin' and conivin'--out the door you go.

  17. While I think Denzel is an attractive man, his huge mouth full of sparkling, huge, white teeth bother me. There, I've been wanting to express that thought for years now. Thank you for listening.

  18. ha ha the teeth!!!! agreed

  19. I thought we already knew this?

  20. If everyone knows, then who cares? It's called big house/little house where I live and some people talk about it like it's no big deal to have two families. BUT, when one of the parties does not know and the money maker dies, things can get ugly.

  21. I would care that my husband's estate would be taking care of his side piece and her children. I'd take my half now and go on with my life

  22. Ah yes, the smear Denzel blinds from earlier this year. Lovely.

  23. He also had a long time affair with Julia Roberts ... His wife refers to her as "that fake B****"

    ReplyDelete
  24. Good grief, Tammy! I do NOT believe that because he's a man, he has to (genuinely) want to cheat. I know my hubby looks, and good for him. But he would NEVER cheat, and neither would the majority of the men I know. At 20, maybe, but not in our 40s. We either grow up or we don't.

  25. There s no way anyone would be okay with this but what she going to do. She's a nobody and he is a multi millionaine.

  28. The adults are free to sign off on this, but what about the kids? I can't imagine a child being "okay" with their momma being disrespected. And talking out of the other side of his mouth about the importance? How does he get any respect from his kids? If the assumption is that he's bought it, yikes! What a mess of a "family".

    ReplyDelete
  29. She's just a "nobody" who birthed and raised his kids and ran his home allowing him the freedom to go out and do what he does professionally knowing everything is taken care of at home.

    Yeah, a real nobody!

Agree with you Bubbles. In the family law court here in Australia it's referred to and acknowledged as non-financial contribution. It's weighted the same as financial as it allows the earner to pursue their career.

  30. Just think, amongst some Mormons and Mideast sheiks this is considered a teeny family.

  31. While the Denzel cheating blinds do not surprise me. The numerous baby mamas do. Right now I count 3 besides his wife:

    1) the single mother he covertly sees every so often.
    2) the actress (not Sanaa), who is hiding the child from public view
    3) this long time mistress

I just can't believe he is that careless. Four kids? 5 if you believe the Sanaa rumor.

  32. It's a big deal because he's promoting himself as Mr. Happily Married Family Man.

  33. Perhaps the Real Mrs Denzel has someone on the side as well. I hope she does.

I understand what Tammy means. And bravo to you, Tammy, for being in that place. That's called being an adult.
