Michelle Duggar Really Wants Baby Number 20

Despite multiple setbacks over the past few years Michelle Duggar says she and her husband are trying very hard for baby number 20. "I would be so grateful if the Lord blessed us with another one," Michelle says. "We're trying at this point and we shall see if that is a possibility." Is it just in her nature not to stop trying to have another baby? Is 19 not enough? She has her kids breeding now and she says she is grateful for the grand children and wants each of her kids to have at least ten children but would feel much better about herself if she keeps trying to have at least one more. Yes, you read that right. At LEAST one more. The woman would be happy staying pregnant until it's no longer a possibility. Can you imagine if she believed in IVF? She would go ahead and have as many sets of multiples as she could.

  1. There has to be some kind of mental problem with this woman. With the husband too for that matter. And boinking her now after giving birth to 19 kids must be like schtupping a pail of milk. Could probably park my mini van in her uterus.

    1. If you listen very, very carefully, and the wind is blowing through the labia, you can hear a distinctive cry of, "Noooooo, hellllp meee!" coming from her overtaxed uterus.

  3. She HAS to say that.

  4. Let us all pray that early menopause pays a quick and timely visit to this woman.

  9. I grew up in a huge family, my mother mixed me up with one of my sisters all the time, didn't really knew who I was. This Woman is all about herself, she doesn't really care about those kids as individuals, the younger ones are raised by the older ones.

Meh. The Duggars affect me in no way, shape or form. They are not living off the system. I say let them be.

  11. Am I the only one who thinks there's some self-hatred going on here? I mean, it's like she can't handle being alone with herself.

  12. She doesn't know who she is if she isn't pregnant. She doesn't know how to be a mother - she never had time for that. It's all about being pregnant.

  13. Yep. Major mental problems.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Also, amending my answer to add what has always been my biggest problem with this woman - she is basically forcing her older kids to take care of the younger kids, which is not fair to them.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Oh please the woman is mental

  16. There are a couple of questions about her:

-Do she and her partner want it? Yes.
-Can she and her partner feed, dress and everything her kids without need for Gov. help? Allegedly.
-Is she a good mother? If pregnant women cannot take care of their kids I call YOU, mothers of more than one, BAD MOTHERS. On the other normal side of the question, no clue).

This questions and answers bring me to a verdict: I don't care, and nobody else should, it's her life and she doesn't disturb anyone.
To the question is she mental? I, who hate kids and will hopefully never have one of my own, could tell you, mothers of more than zero, the same thing.

  17. They're part of the "Quiver-full" movement. They literally believe that it is their responsibility to have as many children as possible in order to create an "army" of God's people (who, of course, believe the same way that they do) to act as His "warriors" on earth.

Dad was a state representative and has the lifelong benefits that go with holding an elected office, which most likely includes funded medical care. There's a rumor that he had his home declared a "home church" because they hold services there and it's thus tax exempt.

  18. In their belief system sex is reserved for procreation. So what she is really saying is "We're enjoying the TV money and not having real jobs so we have been banging like teenagers lately". But in order for that to be okay they have to be trying to have a kid.

  19. Someone needs to tell this woman she's too OLD. Not gonna happen.

    ReplyDelete
  20. And she's had medical problems with the last couple of children.

"Knock, knock. Is there anyone in that head of yours?"

  21. This is my perception only, but I believe he is the one who pushes for more children, and she's exhausted.

  22. isn't she about 45? I think it is time to hang it up, Michelle!

  23. I wonder if she's addicted to having babies and the attention it brings her.

  24. All I know is that I would hate to be one of the older ones. Also, one of them is bound to fuck up and I really cannot wait. My bet is on Jinger or Jessa.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I have also heard that their home (which TLC paid for) is a "church" and they don't pay taxes.

Cosign PP who said it's completely unfair that the older girls (never the boys) are raising the babies.

    Fucked. Up.

  26. When Michelle bleeds out and dies during the birth of Duggar baby #20, you can bet that JimBob BillyBob Duggar will marry Wife 2.0 (who will be about the same age as his oldest daughter) so he can start on the next set of 20 kids.

    ReplyDelete
  27. There is no difference between the Dugger's and the old lady with 20 cats. Hoarding is hoarding.

  28. FWIW, they stated in their second book that they are not part of the Quiverfull movement, nor is their house a "church." That said, even if they are seemingly nice albeit ignorant people, this latest interview shows than to he completely mentally unbalanced. It's just ludicrous after what happened with Josie and Jubilee.

  29. My only concern is that the last pregnancy almost killed her and the child was dangerously premature--she was in the NICU for months and still seems to have some delays.

Michelle is very involved with her kids when they are infants--somehow that is how she relates to them--and when they get older, she hands them off to her almost grown unmarried daughters --and they do the raising from there on.

    1. My mom only had two-me and my younger sister. After we grew out of the baby stage and she found her career as a real estate agent/broker, she lost interest in us. Had no idea what to do with us. As a real estate broker she met tons of young families and was always really into the kids-buying presents and keeping up with dozens of families. But not my sister and me. I can only guess how painful it is for the Duggar kids. I am still putting the pieces of my life together, after a couple decades of therapy and deep inner work. Those kids have access to NOTHING. I at least was smart enough to move across the country the first chance I got, and managed to STAY GONE even though my health cratered early on. Parental support was sporadic with much mental abuse sprinkled liberally into the mix. We are good now-mom apologized and admitted she should not have had kids. Now we can be real to each other. I told her I am grateful for my life, and all the good she shared with me, my sister and my nephew. Never could have predicted my narcissistic mom would get that much personal insight. This goes in the column with the MIRACLE headline in my book. Poor Duggar kids. Surely some of them will emerge unharmed. We can only hope.

  30. I really, really, really don't get it but it's their choice. Or God's will. Or whatever.

I dunno. I'm an outsider and I've never seen the show. I firmly believe in family planning and choice -- which this still is. I mean, yeah, 20 kids is a LOT of kids. But some people don't have enough time and love for their one or two offspring. Some big families, it's the opposite. If they're happy, if those kids know they're loved and they're provided for, then ultimately our opinions don't matter.

That said, if you read about the "Quiverfull" movement, I start to suspect that she only sees her worth as someone actively fulfilling the duty to create more Christians. That once she hits menopause, she will think she's useless. Maybe. And then you get into the slippery slope of cults and brainwashing.

  31. Ugh, personal choice, yada yada yada, I still think it's mental to keep wanting to produce babies pupp-mill-style. Stop thinking of sex as evil, give him a snip, and admit you want to have fun... and then adopt or take in foster children if children is truly your calling.

  32. if child-rearing* is truly your calling. (My bad.)

  34. Let us pray that she never has another.

I have had interaction with this family and despise their every breath. I was a manager at a Long John Silvers back in the late 90's and early 00's and was sent to work at the one in their city during 2001 (from July until the third week of September and that was just because I told them I had to be closer to my family after the 9/11 attacks).

These "Christians" came into our store after church on a Wednesday night (Sunday and Wed. nights are the biggest nights of the week at LJS because of people coming from church) and ordered 2 all you can eat meals and 10 sodas. Then they promptly started coming right back up and getting more fish and chicken because they were all sharing from the two meals. I told them they couldn't do it, it was right there on the menu that the AYCE was for one person (if you had a little kid, like 4 or under it was OK to share) then they went into overdrive saying they wanted to see the manager. I took great pride in telling them I was the manager and that what I said stood. I tried to be nice and told them that even though they didn't have a coupon, I would give them coupon rates for meals (like 2 for 1, so the most it would cost them was like $35) and they took it. They then proceeded to steal bottles of malt vinegar, wipe ketchup, shrimp and tartar sauce everywhere and spill cokes.

Then as they were leaving they told my employees how pathetic they were and how they were going to hell for working on the sabbath (how they expected to be served in a restaurant without employees I never figured out).

They didn't leave until 45 minutes after we closed and caused us to stay until almost midnight cleaning their mess. I had to open the next day so I had to be there at 7:30, a little bit after I got there I got a call from the district manager asking why we were there so long the night before and then he called back later that afternoon because they called and complained about us not letting them eat for free basically.

The next week they came in and before they ordered I told them that based on our unsatisfactory performance the week before, they would need to find a new dining spot. Basically I told them to fuck off and any time I was working they were banned.

    2. Also, how does stealing-which is basically what they were doing- equate with their so called religious views? For that matter, hiw do any of theur right wing views-anti fat, anti helping pior, etc, square with religioys teachings? Ever notice these religious wing nuts are completely unscrupulous in their business dealings?

  35. The lord has nothing to do with IVF and if for some reason she IS having trouble conceiving...maybe her lord is trying to tell her something.

She's got something wrong with her.

  36. Oh yes the big church groups. We had the same thing at our restaurant. 15 of them come in and run our butts off getting them constant waters while about 5 of them have soup or a dessert. They stay well after closing, make a mess, and leave no tips (at least the bills were mostly small). Every flipping week.

  37. You know, it's all well and good to say that since they aren't on welfare, they can go ahead and have (and ignore, allegedly) as many kids as they want. But the resources to feed everyone take a toll on the planet, not to mention all the therapy those kids are going to need because their parents are completely. fucked. up.

    ReplyDelete
  38. *resources JUST to feed everyone

  39. The other thing that is motivating them is that there is another family--the Bates--that has been on the Duggar's show--and Kelly Bates is also at 19 kids--and seems to be able to pop out another any time with no health issues--and I think Michelle really wants to be the 20 kid champion.

Their kids are not being educated--they spend time on the internet or teaching each other mostly--and the older kids seem really stuck--no way Jim Bob will let them have any kind of career while he's making money filming his brood.

    ReplyDelete
  40. There is no way you can give that many children the 1-2-1 emotional support and love that they need and deserve. I expect she relies on the older siblings to do a lot of the child rearing for the little ones. So sad

    ReplyDelete
  41. If they had a reasonable chance of having a healthy pregnancy, then i figure who am i to judge? They're not beating or neglecting their kids (by a legal definition any way.)

But what are the odds? She's closer to 50 than 40. Her last two pregnancies have ended in a late term miscarriage and a micro-preemie. I feel I'm on safe moral ground to say, "STOP!"

Michelle herself is at high risk for maternal complications having had multiple c-sections and pre-eclampsia. Her abdomen is probably like concrete with all the adhesions and scar tissue. God forbid something go wrong and they had to do a crash c-section. It'd take a teamster with a jackhammer to get that kid out.
